Appalling company, don't use! We booked a carseat with them. They gave no indication of potential delivery delays, which would have meant we would have booked to arrive earlier. Instead they just assured it would arrive when booked. They use DPD, who are notoriously unreliable. The carseat is now scheduled to arrive on the last day of the rental period, making it pointless. To make matters worse the phone just goes to voicemail and no-one has called back to discuss. Avoid at all costs.

Wrong item delivered and lack of response to my email.

So hired a car seat from them just over 2yrs ago now and 1 of the isofix securing rods was stuck in the seat and wouldn’t come out but they tried their best to help, so needing another car seat this year so ordered 1 online so it would be here a day early only to be told that DPD were running late and my delivery would now be the day of my departure. I was told that if I wasn’t in the driver wouldn’t leave it. Called trip tots to tell them it was of no use to me know and to see if they could cancel the delivery but no answer. I then go on holiday, 4hrs after we leave I then get notified that the parcel has been left. Utter shambles, will not be using them ever again

If I could give 0 I would, absolute scam of a website, don’t answer the phone, don’t answer emails but constantly send updates about an order that doesn’t exist. Ordered a car seat for when we arrived on vacation, 3 days before we arrived, but it never turned up. We went home 5 days later and it still never showed up.. don’t waste your time with triptots, absolute scam!

I hired two items and only 1 arrived. I have emailed and called multiple times about a refund with no response over the last week.

I ordered a pram for a Mondayto Friday holiday for my 8 week old granddaughter. I received an e mail on the previous Friday afternoon cancelling my order. I had to telephone to find out why, and was told their pram was broken by the previous hirer and they could not supply anything. It was too late to find any thing else. The apology was not sincere and they should have phoned me, rather than e mailing. It ruined our holiday. I am still waiting for a promised refund.

The car seat was not delivered on the agreed date, eventhough options were given to the driver. The delivery was done in the return day, meaning that I never used the car seat and been charged for that. Customer service did not replied to the emails during the rental period, only replying at the end by saying they hold no responsability for the delivery and asking me to send it back! Not even a glance of understanding for the hassle they created to the client. Dont recommend their service

The car seat never showed up. Even after calling and them promising it would be there. Then they never refunded the money, I had to dispute it with my credit card. Never use this company!

Cot was in good condition but arrived two days late.

Unfortunately I think this company is a scam - I booked and paid for a stroller for my visit to London. I simply never heard from them after my confirmation email. We're a few days in and their number doesn't work, and no one is responding to emails. Definitely avoid!

Appalling service, do not use. I made an error in my booking and immediately contacted them to rectify. They would not make any adjustments or provide me with a refund.

Do not use Trip Tots.

The whole reason we rented from them was to avoid travelling internationally with bulky baby equipment. We specifically needed the equipment waiting for us when we arrived in Scotland.

It wasn’t.

As a result, we had to bring our own car seat from Canada just so we could safely leave the airport with our baby. The rental had already failed its primary purpose before our holiday even began.

What has been even more disappointing than the late delivery is the company’s response. Rather than taking any responsibility, they simply hide behind their terms and conditions and blame DPD. Apparently, as long as they hand the parcel to the courier, they believe they have fulfilled their obligations, regardless of whether the customer actually receives the equipment when promised.

That completely misses the point of the service they are selling. Customers are paying for baby equipment to be available when they need it, not for Trip Tots to dispatch a parcel.

Mistakes happen. Couriers have delays. What separates a good company from a bad one is how they respond when something goes wrong. Trip Tots’ response has been to deny any responsibility, refuse to offer an appropriate refund, and repeatedly point to terms and conditions that they claim absolve them of all liability.

If you’re travelling with a baby, reliability is everything. Unfortunately, when we needed Trip Tots most, they let us down, and then refused to take ownership of it. They don’t answer their phone and rarely respond to emails.

I won’t be using them again, and I wouldn’t recommend relying on them for anything time critical.

How I wish I’d read the reviews before I used them.

We booked a 14 day hire of a Doona stroller/ car seat for our grandson who was visiting from Canada.
We asked for delivery two days before we needed it and they confirmed it had been dispatched 24 hours ahead of that date - but they used DPD who failed to deliver it on time.
To expect a 24 hour delivery for a package travelling from St Albans to Scotland is simply ridiculous and DPD say they do not guarantee such service.
Triptots only operate Monday - Friday so there was no chance of help at the weekend. Actually they ignore Emails and their phone number is no longer available. They only communicate via their Chat service

Triptots simply say that the fault was not theirs so they refuse to credit the3 days rental we didn’t get arguing that they did nothing wrong.

However - any situation that results in a family facing 3 days without essential equipment is totally unacceptable.
We couldn’t even safely transport the baby from the airport and would have had no stroller if it hadn’t been for a friend who stepped up at the last minute.
This company say - look at the terms and conditions you signed - you’re entitled to nothing - not even an apology because it wasn’t our fault.
SO BE AWARE.
THIS COMPANY COVER THEIR BACK WITH THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
The answer is simple- DO NOT ENGAGE THEIR SERVICES.

Look somewhere else. They were very fast at charging the amount but never delivered the car seat I ordered. No replies to my emails, online chat, and countless phone calls. They created a huge amount of stress by not delivering on their services while a baby was waiting to be picked up. Cherry on top: they did confirm that the item would be delivered the day before, and at the end of the rental period asked me how the service was (for something they did not do!!). Obviously those emails were automated...

Really easy and reliable service!

If I could rate it zero stars, I would. The doona+ car seat never arrived and they didn't answer any of my emails or calls. GBP100 completely wasted and we had to figure out an alternative way to transport our newborn around. Awful and I'm genuinely so shocked that a seemingly legitimate company would do this to people, let alone new parents. Do not use them.

If was all good till it cam to collection of the chair. Apparently unbeknown to me I booked to return the chair to a DPD point. I thought I had booked for it to be collected collected. It never stated what I had actually booked in the confirmation email.!!!??? (On the return label it also said pick up). So now I have to haul this huge box to the post office!

Very efficient service from day one. However, we received a car seat with a faulty leg, which was not problematic because with the Isofix system.

No one got back to me I emailed you to cancel but no reply just took money
