No customer after service

After service care does not exist, my Veranda arrived with missing part and it is impossible to get the issue resolved.
1 - almost impossible to get hold of someone.
2 - request must be dealt with through email and no response is given.
3 - no one seems to understand what part is missing, constantly being referred

No customer service

Ordering a veranda (order number 500800684) was no issue. Delivery came as expected but one of the glass panels was broken. I've tried to contact Tuinmaximaal for two days straight without success. I've emailed twice with no reply. The WhatsApp function is absolutely useless.

What's the point of selling a good product with such poor customer service?

Non existent customer service or anything to that effect.
It's now 4 weeks from start to giving up. Daily tries, numerous emails, tried the webchats all to no avail.

I ordered a glass room veranda for over…

I ordered a glass room veranda for over 8k quality is very good but I was missing 1 item u profiles for sliding doors, I called about 10 times finally got through to some one who advised they cant assistant me with missing items I have to email. I have sent 3 emails but no responce in 10 days, great products terrible customer service, since I have posted this review I have sent more emails and called but still had no response, but they have reviewed my comments and responded on here very frustrating my ref is Ref 50079640 if some one could respond would be appreciated

No response for 2+ weeks – missing item still unresolved”

Very disappointing experience.

I received my order (Order Number: 500792093),but one item was missing:
Single U Profile 3 Rail Matt Anthracite with Hair (ACC-9526-71).

Since 3 April, I have sent multiple emails (including 9 April and 13 April) and only received automated replies — no actual response from a real person. I was later advised to contact via WhatsApp, but still received no reply there either.

I also called the hotline and waited a long time before someone answered, only to be told that they could not help with this issue.

At this point, I have tried every possible way to contact the company, and after more than two weeks, I have still not received any proper response.

This is extremely frustrating. The missing item is not my mistake, yet I am the one who has to spend so much time chasing for a resolution.

Please do not ask me to send another email. I have already done that multiple times. I need a real person to contact me and resolve this issue.

I simply want to receive the item I already paid for, but the lack of customer service is unacceptable.

Poor communication

Received a quote which is valid until today, asked for an amendment 7 days ago, no reply.
Went to order online and the prices have gone up £200, cant contact anyone to ask for the quote to be honoured.
Email ignored, whatsapp ignored, Over 500 people in the phone queue at half 7 in the morning?
Can someone reply to me before you lose a sale.

Its very difficult to speak to someone…

Its very difficult to speak to someone and discuss my requirements. It seems to be computers running things. I live too far away to go to the warehouse. Wa shame, as i was really keen to purchase from this company, but now i am concerned about aftersales as mentioned in another review, and the lack of contact with a human. I will look elsewhere and find human contact.

I think they've outsourced customer service to bots

I want to purchase a veranda from this company but they make it so hard for you to buy from them! The checkout form doesn't allow you to enter a house name - only a house number, but good luck if you want help - i have used their Max Chatbot multiple times through the website and on WhatsApp, i have called the Customer service line multiple times - on one occassion i was on hold for over an hour before i gave up. I've also emailed the problem... radio silence. Is there actually anyone on hand to deal with customer issues? And what happens if something goes wrong with delivery, or the product - i'm not reassured, i think you'd be on your own!

Great service and product

Had been really interested in their products for a while, so pleased to hear their showroom had opened in the UK. Greeted with a warm welcome from Ange who kindly showed us around. The quality of the products were as great as they looked and the price was unbeatable. Tony sat with us and went through everything in detail and we happily ordered our new glass sliding garden room. Very satisfied with this product and company

We purchased our Veranda from Tuinmaximaal in November 2024. The delivery was seamless, with a friendly driver dropping it off at our home. We didn’t begin assembling it until late January 2025. Based on reviews, we expected the assembly to take a couple of days, depending on size; ours is 7 x 3 meters and quite heavy, so be sure to have enough help on hand.

From the moment we unpacked it, the quality was evident. Our professional builder friend, who assisted with the assembly, was impressed with both the craftsmanship and the price. The fit was perfect, and all parts were included. Afterward, my husband asked if I could contact customer service for some extra screws. I did, and they were incredibly friendly. A few days later, we received the screws, a handwritten card, and a bar of chocolate—a thoughtful gesture that still makes me smile, even 10 months later.

I had planned to leave a positive review before experiencing such great after-sales service, but now I’m even more eager to share. Ten months later, we're still thrilled with our purchase. If you're considering buying from Tuinmaximaal, rest assured you’re in good hands. It’s been a long time since we’ve had such pleasant service from a retailer.

Disappointing Experience After Hoping for a Smooth Veranda Installation

I originally contacted Optimal Shading Ltd for a veranda. I appreciate that Tuinmaximaal offers good-quality, affordable products, and since I wasn’t confident installing it myself, I chose a recommended installer. However, the experience was disappointing.
The £250 non-refundable survey mostly repeated measurements I already had, and didn’t feel worth the cost. The long discussion that followed pushed a very expensive “complete solution” with a raised decking base, far beyond my budget.

Later, I learned a concrete patio works perfectly well, at much lower cost. When I tried to discuss doing the patio separately, the communication felt quite aggressive. I was asked technical questions I couldn’t answer, and my plan was repeatedly called “not complete,” while much more expensive options like CUBE6 and a Steel Paving Subframe were presented as the only proper choices.

Being told another paid visit (£120) was needed felt unreasonable. I didn’t feel listened to and decided not to continue. If your budget isn’t high, I would not recommend this company.

Started a little shaky but turned out perfectly

Its a great website but could be easier as it is easy to make a mistake when order elemental parts as I did and ordered some incorrect U channels. Then when trying to resolve the problem I was told to wait for the Service department to get back to me.....which they never did, so I left a note on the Facebook page at which point I received an apology and explanation that for some I.T. issue my messages had gone astray - since then Tuinmaximaal have refunded me the cost of the incorrect parts that I ordered and told me to dispense with them as I want so fair play, they fixed the issue and sorted things out for me so a big 'Thank you' to Tuinmaximaal for putting the issue right for me and as for the product - the sliding doors that I purchased they look fantastic in my hallway and I would reccomend anyone who needs the systems they offer, to buy from Tuinmaximaal.

We had been looking for a solution for…

We had been looking for a solution for our patio for some time, given it needs to be in a corner and around soil pipes etc. We contacted one of the fitters on the recommended list, Optimal Shading, and they advised us through the whole process of what to buy and then did a brilliant job of the fitting. We couldn't be happier with the product and process throughout. Thank you for a stress free and beautiful solution.
