You guys were not clear whatsoever in Turnbull fees per settled account. I essentially paid the same amount of debt if I had just kept my credit cards active and paid the balance or negotiated directly with the creditors. For example you reduced an account from $8500 to $6000. Great, reduced it by $2500. Then you charge me a “settlement fee” of $2250. So in reality I’m only saving $250 while destroying my credit score. This happened over and over again for all my accounts. And you never communicated the settlement fee before any of my authorizing payments.

I reached out to Turnbull when I was at my lowest. I did not think I would ever get out of debt. The process was super easy and each person I have ever spoke with at Turnbull has always been so nice. I was able to graduate out the program early, and while in the program my credit score started to increase. I have since learned to make better financial choices and would recommend them to anyone!

They keep me up to date on all things being down

I can’t believe I did it was tough each month and def saw light and tunnel breath I did it and got rid of all that debt now looking forward to my credit score going up

The representative is just selling you the service without letting the consumer know that your credit gets worse because literally YOU aren’t paying my bills on my behalf but are letting me get behind on making payments and then you plan to swoop down and provide a buyout but it literally isn’t discussed if that lender refuses the buyout then what?

I was told I could speak to a lawyer about my account when I first joined, but when I asked to I was told I couldn't. When the lawyer called me to welcome me, he was out of state and he told me the lawyer who would be handling my account would contact me. No phone call or email from them. Also I get that Turnbull needs to make their money for their help, I don't have an issue with that, but after my first settlement they are taking 2/3 of my monthly deposit for about six months to get their settlement fee. Their fee plus the payment settlement to the creditor is taking all my deposit save $10. They say they want to get me out of debt as soon as possible, but if that was the case they'd lower their settlement fee payment a month(since I'm with them for 4 years), to get more settlements quicker, but now I have to wait the six months before they even attempt to settle another debt for me, and that's six months worth of late notices on my credit report. So my credit will probably be below 400 by the end of next year, but live an learn I guess.

In the short term it'll give me more money in my pocket, but I say it'll probably be a few years before I can even think about maybe getting a house or new car.

It was a struggle however all my debts are paid off and what a relief. It was great working with this company- made it very easy .

My credit has dropped over 100 points. I was told notices would be sent to all of the companies that I had credit with to let them know I was enrolled in the program. I was advised to stop making payments immediately. This advice has ruined my credit.

When i began the program i was told that the fee would be taken from the settlement amount. As i am finishing the process i realize its being charged from the original amount totally missled on that otherwise i was pleased...

I just started this program so I do not have a lot of feedback. They do keep in touch with you and let you know what the next steps are with my case.
