Absolutely shambolic!!!!!!
If you are thinking of selling your phone here dont….. i sent my two sons phones due to them upgrading and the following has occurred:
- Takes them over a week to receive the phone when sent
-takes them a further week once received to test
- takes them 3 further days to make you an offer which is significantly lower than first offered (was offered £31 against a phone they said was worth £210)…
- takes them 8 days to send the money although they claim they do same day payments
- still have my other phone which is three weeks since sending and they are still to test it
- don’t even bother ringing them as you can never get through and if you miraculously speak to someone, you cant understand a word they are saying as they sound like they are having several other conversations ans have you on loud speak.

Pathetic company, please avoid at all coats

I sent the phone as they originally offered £269 for a broken screen iPhone 15. Sent an offer of £51 then £71, I requested the phone to be returned which took an age. I sent the phone in the original Apple box which they have stolen and not returned. Stay away from this company, extremely unprofessional and poor service.
Wish I had read the reviews prior before seeing £ signs…

good communication and easy to sell my old phone through

From getting a potential price for my phone through sending the phone off and receiving my offer Uberlink kept me informed via text and email (I could also check on the website)
Whilst the offer I received was not what I wanted I knew the iPhone needed a new screen and I had already priced this up and knew how expensive it was. On reflection the offer I received was fair

MY ORIGINAL REVIEW 2/7/26

I sold my broken phone to Uber Link. Upon receipt, it took them three days to assess the device, after which they offered me less than half of the original valuation, despite the phone being clearly identified as broken. I should have requested its return at that stage, but I accepted their revised offer as the device was of no further use to me.

I was expecting payment the following day, but no payment was made. They then assured me that the payment would be issued on Monday 29th June, which again did not happen. I chased the matter, and although they finally made a payment today (Thursday 2nd July), the amount received is approximately thirty percent less than the figure they promised.

At this point I lost patience and issued a formal email demanding either immediate payment of the agreed amount or the return of my device. I also made clear that failure to comply would result in a report to Trading Standards and potential legal action.

UPDATED REVIEW 5/7/26

After the email I sent on Thursday 2 July, the company finally sent the remainder of my payment early this morning (Sunday 5 July), along with an apology blaming an admin error. They ignored my emails and delayed payment for a full week. I sent the email late on Thursday evening, and early this morning the outstanding balance appeared, which strongly suggests the email pushed them into action.

It could be coincidence, but judging by other reviews on here, ignoring customers and delaying payments seems to be their usual pattern. If you are experiencing the same issue, you may find the template in the EMAIL TEMPLATE section of this review helpful. Feel free to use it. I hope it helps.

THE BOTTOM LINE

I would strongly advise anyone reading this review to avoid Uber Link at all costs. Sell your phone on eBay, Vinted, or any other auction site instead. There is a bit more effort involved, but at least you will receive the agreed amount and avoid this kind of circus altogether. That is the biggest lesson learned from this experience.

No payment, over a week. No response to emails.

Very slow service have had my ipad for 4 business days now and no update..

I have emailed them no response .

And the customer service number just rings no answer.

I wouldnt recommend these steer clear

Terrible company and a waste of time. I sent off my fully working Iphone 15 and was quoted £230, I marked it as Broken, even though it was fully working (it just had a couple of slight cosmetic marks to the screen). Waited two weeks and then reduced the offer to £80 even though the phone was fully working and had nothing wrong with it! I wouldnt waste my time with this company, use a more reputable one.

Terrible company total lies when quoted £250 for iPhone and then price after they had inspected it was £80! Joke

I sent my iPhone 15 Pro to this company for valuation. After receiving an offer that I considered unacceptable, I declined it and requested that my device be returned.

The company then confirmed that my phone had been returned. However, after this confirmation, they continued to send me further offers by email and stated that, if I remained unhappy with the offer, they would return my device. This strongly suggests that the device had not, in fact, been returned when they claimed it had been.

At the time of writing, I have not received my phone despite repeated requests. I have retained copies of the emails and have reported the matter as the unlawful retention of my property to the police, citizens advice and action fraud.

I would strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with this company, or better yet, DO NOT USE AT ALL.

They say that if they receive the device in the morning that they will test it and arrange payout, Royal Mail delivered it on the 24th, uberlink claimed they only received it on the 25th and it’s taken two days since then to test the device.
I sold it as not working / broken for £190, they then offered £45 as it was not fully working as I had stated, then if I wanted the device returning it’s a £30 admin fee.
I honestly would never use this company again, and would suggest others to avoid it.

Offered £194 for a iPhone 14 that I’d marked condition as ‘Poor’ as it had a few marks on the side casing where the phone case had been rubbing (still personally consider this good condition but thought I’d mark it as poor as so there could be no issues)

Took them 10 days to make an ”offer” on the phone which was £41. Utterly ridiculous when you consider it’s a perfectly working phone, with no cracks or damage to either front or rear screen and slight markings on the side.

Stick to reputable recyclers as it’ll no doubt take another 10 days to return my phone. Unless you have a brand new phone you won’t get anywhere near the quoted price online and the “Same Day Payment” will take longer than other companies quoting 3-7 days.

helpful, only had to hand my phone to the courier and it was a very fast experience with my phone being processed within a few days!

Original price got reduced so criteria should be more clear. Still yet to receive payment over a week later.

Offered a high price based on phone condition, sent in and lo and behold offered a quarter of the price!! 😡 now he waiting 8 days and they’ve still not despatched my phone back! I should’ve stuck to my trusted Mazuma!!

I send my iphone 15 pro max 1tb took nearly a week to give me an offer of £151 which seem extremely low doesn’t sit right with me should of sold at cex they would give me £290

My experience was extremely disappointing. The company initially offered me a certain amount for my device, but after receiving it, they significantly reduced the offer.

When they returned my handset, it arrived switched on and without the original box that I had sent with it. Even more concerning, the IMEI number of the handset returned to me does not match the IMEI number of my original device.

Based on my experience, I do not consider this a trustworthy company and would strongly advise others to exercise caution before sending them any device
