If you’re looking to make the big move half way across the world but you’re a little hesitant this is definitely the company you need to look into! The whole process is super quick and super efficient and it takes all the stress of the big move off of your shoulders as they find you work, accommodation, help you with setting up a UK bank account and assist with your visa application if you need. My boyfriend and I were placed in a gorgeous country pub months before our departure date so we felt really confident and secure for our big move. Communication is super fast and they always keep you in the loop of the whole process! Nick is fantastic, after 8 months in our first placement we are now looking to him and the UK Pub Co to help us find somewhere new to explore. We can’t wait to see where we’ll end up next. Couldn’t recommend this company enough 😊

I was nervous to move abroad, and knew I wanted to come to the UK with everything sorted (accommodation, bank account, work) before leaving Australia. UKPubCo were amazing in ensuring this was all sorted - with little effort needed from me to be honest. The transition to the UK was made so much easier through the company and I wouldn't be in the place I am, literally, without them. On a practical level, I dealt with Nick and Mark who were both incredible - no question of mine was too strange and the communication has been fantastic. Obviously, I couldn't recommend them enough.

UK Pub Co made finding a job very easy and efficient. For a group of three, we understood there was going to be limited options in where we could work together. But they provided us with lots of different options. It was personalised in that they cared and were curious in our preferences and what we were looking for in particular. They were also very helpful in setting up a bank account over there. They provide help with travel insurance and phone plans too. The pub we worked in was a great fit for us and we enjoyed our time. Overall would definitely recommend to anyone looking to work in hospitality in the UK.

I was very scared moving overseas and out of home for the first time, but the UK pub company really helped me with everything and made the transition over here so much easier. Very happy to go through these guys and would continuously ask these guys for help again. When my first job didn’t work out, they had secured another job for me within a couple of days which I was very happy about. They go above and beyond. Would recommended.

Uk pub co have really gone above and beyond, i received a job offer not more than a couple of weeks after I started the process. I was placed in Solihull at a busy, friendly gastro pub. I was there for just more than a year and even though in the beginning the work is tiring, making lifelong friends really makes the whole experience worth it. It will genuinely be one of the best years of your life. I managed to travel extensively while there as well as enjoy a healthy social life with fellow Aussies and local staff. I’m currently in the process of finding my 2nd job placement and Nick is so helpful and quick to respond to any of my messages. I’m looking forward to where Uk pub Co will place me next and I have no doubt it will be just as great.

My experience with UK Pub Co has been fantastic, their help and guidance in finding me a job ahead of my arrival really put my mind at ease as a first time traveller to England. They offer help in finding a job but also setting up bank accounts etc which takes the stress away. I was put in a great pub and have made life long friends, while being able to save money for adventures during my time off. Was sent to a pub where bullying was rampant and experienced by all. Sworn and screamed at by owners daily,made fun of for my sexuality, groped by customers, underpaid, made to live in filthy accomodation where employers entered private bedrooms. When an emergency occurred I recieved no help for 2 weeks despite begging uk pub co and contacting several times. it took my family harrassing the company via phone for anything to be done about my situation. Overall, make sure you look into where you are being sent. EDIT- glad to see change has been made!

So worth it. they supplied me with constant support the entirety of my visa, quick to reply to emails and very helpful with al my questions. It was lovely to have the piece of mind of UK Pub Co's support.

I was lucky enough to stumble across a flyer in a window about the opportunity to work and live in the UK organised by the UK Pub Co, I really needed a lot of support and to be honest I needed things to be laid out step by step when it came to something as big as moving overseas but thankfully The UK Pub Co were absolutely perfect for the job!

We used UK Pub Co for my 18 year old son to go and live and work in the UK when he finished school. We had never been to the UK and knew nothing about it. This has been such an easy and stress free experience. I sent Nick my resume and within a few days I had an offer from a pub in the heart of London, what more could you want! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! Firstly I booked a phone appointment to request information about UK Pub co and they never called at the allocated appointment time. I then sent them an email requesting information as well as trying to call the UK branch several times once leaving a message with my contact details and never received anything back. I then proceeded to apply online which took a lot of time and effort and was booked for another phone interview. Again they never called for the interview. Finally I get an email over 24hrs later saying that I missed my phone appointment. I decided to go with another company (britbound) who actually know who to use a phone and a computer.

I have used them a couple of times since landing in the uk and each time it’s been quick, easy and Gregory and Nick have been so helpful! If you are after something a little closer to London, Oxford etc, all you have to do is ask and they will try their hardest to make it happen, obviously it isn’t always possible but they definitely give it a good go! Moving over here is scary enough, let alone having to find a job and accom so they make it that much easier. Long story short, if you’re looking at doing this sort of thing, the ukpubco is the way to go!

The UK Pub Co has provided me with a unique experience and let me work to earn money and gain experience as well as take the time I want to to travel around the UK. They were reliable in finding me my first placement and organising my travel details, set me up with a company to help with my visa, handled my application well, and have cooperated will with all subsequent queries and requests. I feel the staff at the co truly care about what they do, and as a result I have not felt stranded or panicked despite being so far away from home.
