I had this agent ring me on my phone and that idiout who line was not good couldnt hear me at all and i say they should not have any claim reviews cause it is a total waste of time that person should not be working there at all and there lines should be improved cause its from there side they waste time with claimers just like that i think working tax credit was far more good than universal credits its a total waste of time for people.

I asked for a rebook of an appt before my allotted time which was 1pm on 24.09.26 at 11.43am in my jounal. The response? Failure to attend and a template requesting the reason and deadline. If the agent had bothered they would have seen the message which included the reason for the request to rebook the appointment. I find it highly bemusing that i could send a message to the work coach regarding the matter (who is named on the app) but its an unknown agent that marked it as non attendance above the message i sent myself.
Scum services have targeted me again…
Scum services have targeted me again since they know I am with a Disability advisor
They have asked for a claim review
With me again I think they are deliberately targeting the disabled and vulnerable adults with this nonsense I have made an osbomand law firm aware of this and hope they are brought to justice
Completely ignored my circumstances as…
Completely ignored my circumstances as a single parentThe online system works fine, but the actual face-to-face service from staff is unacceptable. My Work Coach was 30 minutes late for our meeting. When we finally spoke, the advice given was completely wrong and unhelpful. They made no effort to take my qualifications or past experience into account. Worse, they completely ignored the fact that I am a single parent, which dictates when and where I can actually look for work. Giving desperate people incorrect, rushed advice is highly unprofessional.
They dont care
They dont care. I was sick for 2 weeks with this new virus, so instead of rescheduling my meeting they put my money down literally times 10. From 338 to 27 pound. I cant even live on 338 how am I supposed to live on 27. I hope someone fkn abolishes this place. Dalkeith universal credit is the worst experience ive went through being homeless. Staff are rude and clearly dont want to help you or even be there.

Just had to ring Universal Credit to check something and not only was it answered straightaway, but Naim who answered was really great, taking his time to talk me through something I needed to find in my online account. Thank you
Universal credit is a con..
Universal credit is a con... and the dont help you out.. then any money you do get off them
12 months later when u are back at work.. they want all the money back
Distressing, cruel and totally unfair!!
I have been expected to survive on a standard £400 per month "benefit" for years! I've applied for PIP, was given 0 out of 18 (or whatever the maximum is) twice. Once originally and once when I asked for a mandatory reconsideration. I've now taken it to tribunal and have been waiting for my date for over two years now. Great for somebody with crippling anxiety and depression for almost 30 years!
I also applied for LCW (Limited Capability For Work) which is an element of UC for people who are unable to work due to their condition. I was told that I have LCW and they put me on a pathetic scheme that means I don't look for work, I don't get any extra "benefit" and I have my appointment once every 3 months. I've now been on this element since 2022 and have been waiting for a re-assement since 2023 (IT CLEARLY STATES ON THE USELESS DWP SITE THAT IT SHOULD BE REVIEWED ANNUALLY!!) I've been asking for a review since then and have been lied to, fobbed off and messed around which ironically has made my condition much worse! EMMA & LISA from the LINCOLN JOB CENTRE have continued to fob me off telling me it'll be reviewed very soon, I was told I was next in a queue to be looked at, I've been told it'll take about 3 to 4 more weeks until it's my turn (this was several months ago) and a whole host of other lies and inaccurate information! It actually turns out that only new applications are currently being processed and that re-assements aren't been looked at AT ALL currently! There is no queue for people who are waiting and that nobody would have an idea how long it would take for my (3 year late re-assement) to be done!!!!!! I raised this with a manager who explained that "They say all sorts in other departments and that her staff had done nothing wrong." She placed the blame on other departments and didn't even apologise for the turmoil they'd created!!
I have been suicidal, explained this to them and they suggested I go to my local city which is seven miles away for a coffee at a cafe which is open for people with mental health issues! I can't drive, I can't afford a bus, a coffee or even a bread loaf, so my only way of getting there would be to walk!
The people who work in these calls centers have no formal qualifications, they're only there to sit there and look at the clock till 5pm, fobbing people off, giving them incorrect information and then it's home time. They don't seem to have a conscience, morals or any form of sympathy and earn £1,600 roughly per month which means they take home in a week, more than people on UC get a month!!
A vile, not fit for purpose service that employs empty headed, liars who clearly don't care about others....
Arrogant call receiver
Arrogant call receiver. Rubbish customer service.
I have an ongoing mandatory reconsideration. I am no longer on UC but UC owes me money. I also owe them money which I am paying DD or they will take it from my payslip. UC owe me more than I owe them but I unfortunately can’t demand that money. It’s all very one sided.
I called previously and was informed that a caseworker will contact me so that we can check if the HMRC letter (explaining there was an error on their side) was received. As per usual I had to call back to say that I had no call and asked for an email/message to be sent again.
The person I spoke to was completely arrogant and thought that he knew everything and told me that the message in my journal that said someone would call me apparently wasn’t for me 😂
He also told me that the MR goes to a management team and it will take as long as it takes because I’m not on UC anymore so basically they don’t care about me.
HMRC have done the right thing by providing a letter so UC need to stop dragging their heels and process this.
The 1 star I have put reflects the overall service. Some staff have been helpful but this is a very hit or miss situation on who you get to speak to and generally is a negative experience.
UC and the person I spoke to on Friday 11th September approximately 5pm - you can’t have people working for you who have no customer service skills, no empathy or no sympathy.
0 if I could rate it at that
0 if I could rate it at that. My experience has been pretty shocking so far. I lost my job middle of June as I was dismissed for sickness/capability. I signed on the day after I was dismissed. Had my first universal credit interview 2 weeks after and the work coach arranged a visual interview and said I was in the over 50 whatever group, Can’t remember what it was called now. Received a back payment of my wages middle of July as that was our payment date. Received my first universal credit payment which was lower than the full amount near the end of August. In between that time frame, my visual appointment was cancelled. No explanation as to why? I sent a message in my journal to question why to be told I was in the wrong group and was now in a different group as if I was still working when clearly I wasn’t working. So I had to ask why I was now in this different group when I wasn’t in work. I then finally attended a meeting early October. The new work coach said I haven’t had a meeting for a while. I explained well you cancelled my second appointment. You said the first group was wrong. Then you put me in another group which was wrong. I was then told that I am being sanctioned because I was dismissed from my job. I rent and live on my own and over the age of 55. I have no other way of getting financial help. I was always on top of my bills until losing my job. Now I’m getting into debt. You pay your national insurance for years which I thought is there incase something like this happens and you are basically treated like a criminal when your luck is down. I wonder why we pay NI anymore, I really do! It’s a shambles of a system where too many mistakes are being made. The amount of money received is not enough to live on as it is. The system is unfit for purpose and cruel. This is soul destroying and killing peoples dignity. I think it’s high time universal credit was seriously looked into and replaced with a fairer more dignified system. I’ve decided to make a complaint for the blunders they have made so far with my claim. Lord knows if I will receive another payment and when? I think a petition should be made and spread far and wide to have this system changed. Now I’m worried what will go wrong next and if I’ll ever receive any money until I can find another job? If I’ll end up homeless and in serious debt because of all these blunders. This is causing me serious stress!
UC made an error with my payment and…
UC made an error with my payment and paid me 45% less than normal. I have a dependant disabled son at home who needs full time care. Despite this Christian at UC would not speed up the review, and despite my offer to upload evidence if he sent me a lunk and evidence my son had needed emergency treatment in this period making hardship a compromising factor on his well being. This organisation does not care and when you have a dusabled child you are treated like mud. Disability can effect any class race or religion and it is dispicable that government departments spend too much time up their own derriers.
Had a job that I got out of my own…
Had a job that I got out of my own efforts, and restart guidance says that you should not be referred to a restart provider if this is the case, but they still pushed for it. And ignored this for their own pockets. When I then brought up the specific terms and conditions I had no response for 3-5 days when anything else the responses that I had gotten was timely. It is appalling behaviour and I'm glad I closed my claim as a result they are terrible.
It's also worth noting that I have health conditions that make all of these things very stressful, and it felt like they were ignoring these considerations.
Absolutely disgraceful
Absolutely disgraceful. I get paid last Friday of every month and im on maternity leave and the Friday fell in the same assessment period as my last payment. Under regulation 61 they legally can reallocate my payment to the correct assessment period. I contacted them 10 days ago, I have messaged on my journal. I called twice last week to be told it has been escalated to manager and i will be contacted by 6pm last Friday. Didn't happen. I messaged this morning no response so I have called again and the lady just hung up on me. I have a baby and have just been completely ignored. This is absolutely disgusting service.
Nonsense
Complete and utter idiots that work there.
That's all that can be said.

I’d been on the phone for over 2 hours,
Transferred back and forth, yet when greeted with these guys, they were easy to talk to, clear and concise, I hope this message is passed on to them!
I’ve had a deeply frustrating…
I’ve had a deeply frustrating experience with this service so far. I’ve done everything required on my end: attended all meetings on time, provided my ID, and uploaded proof of job applications and interviews.
At the start of August, I submitted my housing details to get help with rental costs. Having heard nothing back, I reasonably assumed everything was processed. It is now a month later, and they are claiming they can’t see any of my submissions—despite me showing proof that everything was uploaded on 3rd August.
Instead of an apology, I received a defensive, cold message claiming the advisor "couldn't see entries that far back" and a link to resubmit the exact same documents. I’ve had to cover this month's rent out of my own savings because of their blunder.
For an organization that constantly hammers you with rules, threats, and sanctions if you make a mistake, they seem completely immune to accountability when they mess up. After working continuously and paying taxes for 20 years, this is my first time needing support from the system. To be treated like I'm the one in the wrong after their error is unacceptable.

I have had a payment locked
I have had a payment locked, as I have been unable to access my journal, where there was a task om the to do list, that I have not been able to complete.
I also have health condition's and it is making me worse, feeling physically ill, I was rang, but unfortunately only once, I really don't need this, I worry about my health and losing the roof over my head, as I have no idea what is happening?, or how long, there is no direct telephone line to people at jobcentre's, plus you have to go in person for sign in details, when it could be done by email, a link or video call perhaps?, I am not neccesarily able to attend in person, it's causing illness on top of what I already have, my payment was locked, I was not contacted, no letter, even.
I believe that not all staff are bad, whom I saw was very nice and had empathy, but improvement's need to be made to those whom don't have empathy, humanity or compassion, there need to be way's to actually contact work coaches, via phone, directly, also, a scrapping of harsh, cruel penalisation, especially nasty sanction's started by no surprise, the Consertive's, lastly a scrapping of intrusive, disrespectful and often prejudiced, unfair medical assessment's, another Conservative idea, people like myself, should not have to live our life, what there is........In nothing but constant fear, panic, anxiety and paranoia, when we have health condition's that are not our fault, we never asked for it and we certainly don't deserve it, but I will say, although are unpleasant one's, there are also, like some I have seen and been in contact with, very nice, pleasant and helpful work coaches & so forth, but it's rules of the DWP department.
Spoke to someone called Liam on the…
I’m not eligible for a second loan as I’ve neither been on universal credit for 6 months or I’ve earned to much in different periods.
This country punishs you for trying to work and get a job. When someone on universal credits for months on end gets it handed to them. Holidays paid for, housing whatever they want
But if you try to work and get help through a hard period you get punished
