I booked tickets through Universe

I booked tickets through Universe, they have refunded £2.50 processing fee and are refusing to help get the rest back. Do not book anything via this platform, there is no support.

They are SCAMMERS

They are SCAMMERS. I HAVE EMAILED THE COMPANY FOR A REFUND. I WANTED TO SEE A CONCERT DREAM WEEKEND, THE SECURITY WOULDN'T LET ME IN BECAUSE THE TICKET WAS NOT VAILD FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! DO NOT USE THEM

No refund for cancelled event

I was due to attend the carnival of filth tour in Edinburgh in October. The event was then moved to December where it was cancelled days before the event. I was then told by the event hosts that I would get an automatic refund within 90 days. 6 month on I still haven't received my refund for my tickets! I have contacted the hosts on the website with no reply and sent an email to which I got an automatic response saying the team are away due to medical reasons. I then contacted universe who have told me they can't give me a refund due to the hosts policy even thoe I have sent proof that they agreed to give me a refund which is against uk consumer laws. I am now taking it up with my bank in the hopes it can all get sorted out.
NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS SITE AS ITS A COMPLETE SCAM!!!

Unlawful Company

I went to a show where just as we sat down, they said one of the violinists couldn’t make it and the show was therefore cancelled. We were told as we were leaving that we could request for a refund. Months later no response from the event organiser, so I contacted Universe directly, as per their website guidance. When contacting support they simply said they don’t give refunds and that it’s the responsibility of the event organisers. They said that because a listing can have a no refunds policy, even if the event doesn’t take place they don’t have to issue you a refund.

This is contrary to UK consumer laws and when challenged they didn’t respond.

I’ve since had the refund directly from the host as opposed to the ticket broker, Universe.

The bottom line is, they can in theory hold illegal events with no consumer protections, even when an event isn’t real or doesn’t take place and will refuse liability or refunds as the intermediary. Let me be clear, this is illegal and the very definition a scam.

Do not use this company.

Had a great customer experience with…

Had a great customer experience with Universe and Taylor. She was responsive, prompt and helpful. Although there was a bit of back and forth in the exchange of our tickets, where the venue had said they could not do anything refer to Universe, and Universe said they can't do anything, have to wait for the venue, the outcome was satisfactory to us. And could not thank Taylor enough for the assistance throughout.

Absolute trash..

Absolute trash... I signed up for a payment plan for a event. I contacted them and let them know I couldn't make any changes in my dashboard (tried to pay the tickets) they wrote me back and told me my payment failed. I sent screenshots of the money taken out of my account. I then got a message back saying in a was a RARE issue with their payment plan system. I contacted them 5 days later (my next payment was due) and asked if there were any updates. The same generic message was sent. DAYS later I've tried to contact them again, nothing. Tried again, nothing... Disputing the charges.

Beware: Despite Received Mercedes Benz Stadium (Atlanta) authorization, Universe.com Refunded Guests After I Delivered Tickets

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Universe.com while trying to host a private suite experience for a major concert. I secured a licensed luxury suite directly from Mercedes-Benz Stadium and provided Universe with full documentation proving my right to host and invite guests. Despite that, they abruptly canceled my event listing and refunded my guests — without meaningful communication, proper review, or acknowledgment of the facts.

I worked directly with a support representative named Allie, who showed little interest in resolving the matter fairly — even after I explained that I had already transferred the suite tickets to my buyer immediately upon payment. Universe knew the tickets were delivered, and that the buyer was satisfied, but still reversed the transaction. This careless handling created confusion for my guest, financial hardship for me, and damaged the credibility of a legitimate, authorized event.

I also submitted written confirmation from the stadium’s senior premium sales manager affirming my legal right to sell access to my private suite. Universe disregarded that as well.

Given Universe is an affiliate of Ticketmaster, I expected a far more professional and secure experience. Sadly, that was not the case. After reading other reviews on platforms like Trustpilot, it appears my experience was not unique — with similar complaints consistently raised, particularly involving another representative named Taylor. There seems to be a broader pattern of dismissiveness and poor support for independent event organizers.

Bottom line: Universe.com is not a platform I would recommend to small businesses, independent promoters, or those offering legitimate private VIP experiences. There are better tools out there — ones that treat professionals with the fairness and respect they deserve.

Fantastic service from Taylor

Fantastic service from Taylor. I had booked the wrong venue and contacted Universe to see if they could help. Taylor responded very quick and advised me to rebook the correct venue and let her know once I had done this so she could refund my money for the incorrect booking. She was very polite and professional. Thank you Taylor!!!!

Loved working with Taylor

Loved working with Taylor! Due to illness, me and my family sadly could no longer make it to an experience. Taylor helped me get in touch with the event host. The host was unresponsive for a couple of weeks, but Taylor never gave up until we heard from the host and ultimately was granted a refund. A+ customer service

Evenementen door oplichters.

Oplichters maken hier evenementen aan die 1 op 1 lijken op de echte evenementen. Oplichters verkopen niet bestaande tickets, deze worden uiteindelijk geannuleerd en je kan zwaaien naar je geld. Universe doet hier vervolgens niets mee behalve zeggen dat geld via de (niet-bestaande) organisatie eventueel terug is te halen. Al het geld wat Universe nog heeft wordt naar de oplichters gebracht die dit evenement vals hebben aangemaakt en voor de rest wordt er gezegd dat je het maar uit moet zoeken.

Excellent support

I had a great experience with the Universe team! I accidentally booked tickets for the wrong date, but the team was incredibly responsive, understanding, and efficient in processing my request. They kept me informed throughout the process and made everything seamless. I appreciate their excellent customer service.

Terrible service

Four of us booked Back2the80’s musical festival for July 24, it was cancelled for weather reasons, we applied for a refund and have never received it!!!! Emailed numerous times to be told we would get it, never have - isn’t that theft?

ALL MY FAULT

I ordered tickets for a gig months ago and received an e-mail saying that my payment had been accepted and that the tickets would be e-mailed to me three weeks before the event. No e-mail arrived so I contacted Universe to ask where they were. I was told that the payment had been declined, despite them sending me an e-mail that the payment had been accepted. I checked with my bank and the payment was made and accepted by Universe but they are denying being paid. It's over £200 so not exactly a small amount. I can't get any assistance from them. If you're thinking of buying concert tickets from this shower, think again. I'll never use them again. In hindsight I've just been informed that the tickets were sent to my personal laptop e-mail address. The laptop has been stolen, so no fault lies with Universe.
