Excellent customer service. We had some garden furniture which needed replacement. The service is quick, polite and very professional. A delight to deal with them.

Prompt delivery great product, rubber washing bowl, have been looking to replace my original one which I have had for 11 years. Still in full working order just looks a bit tatty.

I found what I wanted

It was right to order at this store! They found out-of-stock products at other stores. And he contacted me about the delivery status each time. They responded very politely. Thank you.

I’ve been bitterly disappointed by the…

I’ve been bitterly disappointed by the level of service I received on my latest order. I’ve received the single order I’ve 4 (and counting) separate deliveries, received the incorrect product, damaged products and had slow response times to my complaints. I am still without my order and have no clarity

Hello, firstly I would like to apologise for the issues with this order of various String Items. Having spoken with Jess in our sales team I have set out below the series of events.

Initially, your order was going to be two deliveries, the first the bulk of the order and the second the outstanding set of shelves.

The first delivery did include a mispick of the incorrect coloured cabinets due to human error in our warehouse - and for this we apologise. Ity can and does happen from time to time. When you highlighted this error our team responded to your email within 3 minutes and had the collection arranged within 2hrs. You then received the delivery of the shelves and, regrettably, one of the shelves had some transit damage. You informed us of this on a Saturday evening of a bank holiday weekend. As soon as the team was back in the office they responded and arranged to send you a replacement shelf. The delay in sending the replacement was due to a hiatus in the warehouse team's holiday commitments and subsequent sales team handover notes delay. Jess picked this up upon her return on 29the May and responded on the 30th.

The rest of the order was dispatched in four boxes and from the tracking notes it looks like one of the boxes is still in transit to you. You can see this on the FedEx tracking with your most recent consignment number.

You contacted us last night while our offices were closed to inform us of further transit damage. Our team is currently arranging a replacement for you and will be in touch shortly to confirm. Hopefully this will finally resolve the outstanding issue.

Ordered items not in stock and damaged

Ordered 2× blomus panola shelves with their brackets in two different colours. I first got an email saying that one of the colours was out of stock so decided to proceed with the other colour only. I was then notified again that one of shelves (last in stock) was damaged at the corner and was given a discount for it. When I received the package,the shelves were the correct colour (nomad) but the brackets were black instead of nomad. Returned the package and got refunded after multiple email exchanges. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.

Hello - I'm afraid all I can do was apologise. These were clearance items and were wrongly stock taken, hence the complete mess up. I'm sincerely sorry.

Could do much better

The process of buying and the price paid was excellent. The delivery of the goods and the time taken from order to delivery was poor. Using Palletways was over complicated. No proper window of delivery and delivery was made on the wrong day.

Hello Mark - thank you for your order and I am sorry the delivery has let you and us down. When we use third party couriers we are always at their mercy. Palletways are supposed to arrange delivery with the customer direct on a date to suit them so I am at a loss as to why this was not done. We will be contacting them to ascertain why.

In the meantime we hope the weather improves so you can enjoy your furniture.
