Excellent product and service! I received my furniture within 2 days!

I couldn't find this product anywhere other than on this website.
I have had the same colour Norman Copenhagen bowl for almost 20 years and was looking to replace it like-for-like.
Obviously over that time it has acquired a build-up of stuff that I couldn't remove. I even contacted the company directly to ask how to clean it.
Having drawn a blank on that front, I'd begun to reconcile myself to the situation. Utility was the only site where I was able to find it.
Initially it was out of stock. I didn't quite believe that it would come back into stock but it did.
I placed an order, and used the new customer discount code, which made the price a little more bearable 🙂
It arrived exactly when I was told it would.
The bowl is in excellent condition but the brush that comes with it had two flaws in the wooden handle. This is a minor issue, particularly as I won't be using the brush as it is made of bristles.

The team were great, replied to my email quickly and arranged a delivery date when I could be home from work to receive the furniture.

The product was just what I wanted at an excellent price. I was warned at purchase that delivery would be about 6 weeks. I accepted this but actually it took twice as long. However, as soon as the product became available, it was sent to me priority delivery.

Stumbled upon this company by chance when browsing online. I’m always reluctant to use a company I’ve never heard of, especially for online purchases. However, the service and communication was prompt and efficient. Delivery of my purchase arrived on time. I’m very satisfied with my experience.

I have bought lots from Utility over time, especially when I lived near Liverpool, and I have always received great service. But, I ordered a USM trolley in olive at the end of May with a 4-6 week production time and it took more than 14 weeks to arrive. I had to get in touch several times to receive an update, which was disappointing. It was a USM production issue and as a gesture of good will Utility did match a lower price after the order and I got in touch. The trolley looks great and I am really happy with it. I have also ordered from Utility on-line again as overall I think they deserve it.

The shelves we wanted were in stock On Utility Design, while they had several weeks lead time on other websites. Delivery was super speedy post purchase, and goods were very carefully wrapped ( and no plastic was used , which was a plus)

Wanted this to be a good experience but it didn’t work for us. Wrong product delivered and lots of inconvenience and hassle. Utilitydesign seems to be little more than a middle man and, whilst they answer the phone promptly and are polite, they have no flexibility to offer any help when something goes wrong as they are presumably working off small margins. In summary, this company added no value and we’ve ended up getting very fed up, asking for a refund and going to the supplier direct,
Update following retailer response: thanks for your reply. But the lamp doesn’t come in the same box, we received a small box clearly labelled desk lamp, when we’d ordered a floor lamp. We placed the order in June and waited until August for delivery, which was also problematic (it seems others have also had issues with FedEx). After all the delay, phone calls and additional admin this has caused us you were able to offer nothing other than an apology.
