I had a pre‑booked telephone appointment with Vanguard to discuss making a tax‑free withdrawal from my pension portfolio. Kamran, from Personal Investor Services, was extremely helpful — clear, concise, and highly knowledgeable. Just as importantly, he was pleasant and patient throughout, guiding me away from options that would not have achieved the outcome I wanted.
I’ve been very happy with Vanguard since moving from a competitor’s managed fund to Vanguard’s passive funds. The improvement in fund value and the reduction in costs have been significant.
It would be ideal if Vanguard offered a Cash ISA alongside the Stocks & Shares ISA.

Vanguard have well costed investment…
Vanguard have well costed investment funds and a clear and concise approach that makes investing easy. They are also quick to respond to queries - adding much needed comfort and trust.
My recent discussion regarding my pension withdrawal options with Neena was very professional and clear. As a retired Senior IFA, I know when some knows their subject or are merely reading from a script. I found Neena friendly, personable and knowledgeable - we even shared a joke or two which was fantastic! Many companies are too strict and scared of their own shadow. Dealing with Neena was pleasant - and HUMAN! Lest not forget how reassuring that feels guys!

I found Kamran very informative and professional and at the same time laid out the information I needed very clearly and in 'laymans' terms. He was very good at explaining the processes in an informal way which worked for me as I want to get things right but keep it light. Excellent support completing my SIPP pension form
I was ably assisted on 08-10-2026 by Matt B from the retirement support team at Vanguard. During our phone call Matt clearly explained the retirement process and steps needed for PCLS release, and he helped me complete the form. His manner is friendly, whilst maintaining the professionalism I have always found with Vanguard. Also the SIPP portal is user-friendly, well-structured and clear. Well done all round Vanguard.

Nowadays, we all think of Customer Service as a thing of the past. It is either AI or an automated email saying a reply in 5-7 working days. We dread it.
