From the moment we arrived it was such a relaxed friendly experience. The hair and make up team put us at our ease and did a great job making us look our best. The photographer was fantastic. Really professional and again putting us at our ease. We chose so beautiful pics of us both wchich we will be using for professional headshots and pubic speaking marhketing materials. I'm sure I will be back.

I did this experience 10 years ago and loved the pictures so I came back. The whole experience once again was so fun. The hair and make up were perfect and the photo shoot itself was so fun and relaxing. I was so happy with the end product too. Thank you so much, see you in another 10 year!!

From the moment I arrived I was greeted and offered a drink, snacks and a seat and just treated wonderfully. The make up artist was wonderful (her colour match for black skin was perfect). Her eye make up was so good because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do but because my eyes are sensitive never tried. I felt so good. The hairstylist listened to me when I didn’t want to use heat in my hair and instead did an awesome hairstyle with my natural hair. I really appreciated it, and she was so lovely and kind and in fact who I spoke to when I came in.

The photographer was excellent and put me at ease and the photos were just incredible. I had fun and he directed me so well so that we got some really great shots. It was nice to see a different side to myself.

When it came time to choose my photos the gent who helped me was just so kind and warm and so easy to work with. I ended up selecting more pics than I thought because they were that good. It was so hard to choose, but I never once felt pressured.

Finally, every other staff member in there was so kind. They offered drinks, spoke to you. Smiled at you etc. It was just such a warm and happy environment.

Thank you all for a wonderful day. I really needed it and I’m super happy with my photos.

My daughter and I had a wonderful photoshoot experience at Vanity Studio on Lee Street. We arrived quite early and were warmly welcomed by the staff. They took the time to ask how we wanted our hair, makeup, and nails done, and we were both very happy with the results.
Our photographer, Danny, was incredibly professional while also being warm and friendly. Since it was our first professional photoshoot, he made us feel completely at ease, which helped our photos look natural and relaxed. We were given plenty of time to change outfits and never felt rushed throughout the session.
After the shoot, we went to the viewing studio to select our photos. James was so kind and patient, helping us choose the best images without making us feel pressured.
I highly recommend Vanity Studio to anyone looking for a memorable photography experience. I chose to do this to celebrate my 50th birthday, and I’m so glad I did. It was a truly special experience and has given my daughter and me beautiful memories that we will cherish.

Our experience at Vanity Studios was second to none. From booking in at reception being made to feel at home from the start. The make up and hair stylists were very talented and my girls had a lovely experience getting themselves pampered. The most amazing time was had with the photographer. He took so much time and investment in what the girls were looking for, created the best experience and took the most gorgeous shots - it was so diffucult to choose from them all! As for the sales it was simple, not at all pushy and all in all a fabulous day.

The team all made me feel so relaxed, pampered and safe. My make up and hair done to prefection using good products. The photographer took some amazing shots! The team were all patient and they made me look and feel gorgeous!

Really good experience overall, Sasha did a great job with the makeup - subtle and natural, just as I have requested. The shoot itself was easy, quick, and the photographer was a real pro - especially given that we had an infant with us.

They were accommodating and friendly, we enjoyed the shoot.

The “extra” photos are really expensive though - and this is where the catch is. But the photos came out really good.

We visited Vanity Studios as a family of 4. We found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The Photographer we had was brilliant; he was fantastic at making both boys feel at ease and knew how to get the best photo's. He even worked with minimising reflection in specialist glasses and nothing was too much trouble.
The Photo's are not cheap but there was no 'hard sell' or pressure.

Our main disappointment was that when sold to us (at a musical theatre event), we were told that we would have sole use of place etc. You do not, others are in having hair and make up etc, I was also not offered my nails done (which was listed as part of the deal).
The other negative is that there is no pricing information when booking. I must say, even through the photographer was brilliant, if we had known about the pricings before booking we would likely have not booked.
Also our appointment time was changed significantly with less than 48hours notice, when we don't live locally and rely on public transport this increased our travel costs significantly.

I just wished my hair was done by someone else, as it didn’t look as professionally done as the other hairstylist did - heavily damaged too..
Also, my husband was not offered any services for hair/make up.

I’ve read bad reviews about the Deposit - not true. We didn’t have that issue.
Although the sales pitching upon his purchasing voucher and extra photos was not fully transparent.

I communicated my needs for a couple photos as opposed to “solo” and was expressly reassured it would be 2 complimentary couple photos. Unfortunately I did not retain the voucher anymore nor was I able to confirm the terms & conditions.

We had to purchase extra photos just to get those couple photos (completely at our own will at this point - not pressured by any means). Our “10 photos” bought included our 2 complimentary solo photos.
Fair play.

Still happy though, just wished there was more transparency overall. Nevertheless, everyone was friendly, and kind!

We came as a group of 3 and from the minute we walked in we were treated with respect. All the stylists were very good and professional, listen to what we wanted and guided us with there expertise.

The photographer was exceptional and allowed the session to be fun yet very professional. We had such a good time with laughter and joy throughout even the after care where your photos were chosen whilst having a glass of bubbly. Again guidance was provided without this feeling pushy or forced on why certain photos are better showing again the knowledge and expertise of the staff.

This was a present to myself for my 55th birthday and it was a fun filled day with besties and truly amazing staff.

Well worth every penny and highly recommended.

From the second I was greeted at reception to the minute I left the door, I received nothing but friendly welcomes, a professional interactions and an all round wonderful experience, Vanity studios have it all right! The team have created a space where you feel comfortable and able to express your creativity and freedom. I can say nothing but positive things and look forward to a not so distant return!

I was a bit reluctant to go, but me and my daughter had a wonderful afternoon and came away with some priceless images. I normally shy away from photos of myself but actually enjoyed looking at them all and found it hard to choose because each in its own way was great. It was a welcoming atmosphere and drinks and snacks were plentiful. The make up and hair artists were attentive and the
photographer really put us at ease. Would recommend as a fun day out or for a professional photo shoot.

What a wonderful experience at Vanity Studios! Our two 16 year old girls were gifted this photoshoot, and had the best time. Everyone was extremely professional, the welcome was very warm, and they were made to feel super special throughout the day. I was very impressed with the photographer’s approach, he kept it fun and light (and most importantly appropriate and safe). The girls received such kind and uplifting messages from the whole team, and this really boosted their self-confidence. They walked out of there, feeling on top of the world. This was priceless! It is worth enquiring upfront the prices of the packages available though, as this can lead to disappointment if you see the amazing quality photos and feel you can’t afford to buy more than one … ultimately though, the experience is well worth the overall cost in the end. Those smiles and that self-confidence boost was worth every penny!
