Vanity Studios Avis 

We had a really great day having our hair and makeup done professionally. The photoshoot was great, we were not rushed and the photographer really put us at ease. We had 4 changes of outfits, different colour backgrounds and portrait shots. We had over an hour with the photographer. We viewed our photos online with Chevaughn, there were over 150 photos in total. They were really good quality and high definition. Really lovely poses. We went through them with Chevaughn one by one to decide what to keep. We were not rushed at all and the whole experience was fun. We were shown the different packages and choose the best option for us as a group of 3. The photos were sent to us digitally and we also get a pocket photo book as a free gift. Considering the hair, makeup, Prosecco, photography and the end results we were very happy . The price we paid was really good and I would definitely recommend this as an experience or a birthday gift for a special birthday.

The team made us feel welcome on arrival and immediately comfortable. The make up artists and hair stylists were considerate, taking on board feedback and preferences. We were the first appointment of the day, so we weren't rushed or delayed like other reviews describe. Snacks and drinks were available on tap, as described and the photographer consults with you on your looks and takes time to get to know you a bit, which helps make you comfortable for the shoot. I did my research so went into the experience with my eyes open, it was meant to be a fun day for me and my daughter and they are a professional photography studio so you pay for their time and the end products. I was really pleased with the images of my daughter, I was more self conscious which my images reflect but Siobhan offered some small touch ups to help with that! You have the option to walk away with the complimentary images and leave it at that, or scaled packages depending on your budget and 0% financing options for those that need them. Whilst comparably it might be expensive, it felt value for money overall when you consider all the component parts. I look forward to seeing the final product, I am waiting to hear from the studio regarding some contacts which were promised but feel that overall my experience was genuine and most importantly, my daughter and I enjoyed ourselves. The experience is down to what you make of it! Have fun!

If you want to go to a photography agency that makes you look 15 years older and 40 lbs fatter and have a makeup artist scold you for moving your face, this is the place to come!!!

I wasn’t convinced of the makeup, I asked for natural but they made me look like a madam and assured me that it was needed due to the lights. No, the images were awful on account of the awful make up. The makeup artist was also quite rude to me.

The package I ordered included 2 free images yet they told me that it was only one. I hated all of the ones of me, but they said I couldn’t swap for a better one of my daughter. Ended up being pressured into buying an additional 3 of my daughter for a whopping £200.

I saw packages for digital images that reached nearly £3000 for a DELUX PACKAGE.

Avoid this company.

The photoshoot was very well organised. It was nice and cool, which helped with the very hot weather. The make-up was really useful and subtle. The photography was very good at getting the best of my shots. In the end, three photos were of excellent quality. I would highly recommend the studios due to the level of professionalism, quality and organisation.

It was my first photoshoot and i had a wonderful experiencing from the team. From make-up to the photographer guiding me through. Thank you🫰🏽

This day experience was lovely!! We were warmly received with drinks and were welcomed by lovely people for our makeup, hair, etc.
The staff such as Luca, Angie and Abi were amazing !!

Three of us had a group shoot and it was so much fun!!! None of us had ever done anything like it before and we were all made to feel very comfortable.

Everyone at the studio was so lovely and welcoming! We felt very at ease and relaxed. The hair and makeup was done so well, we all had our own stylist and makeup artist, we didn’t feel rushed at all!

The photographer was so encouraging and really knew how to get us to pose and smile in the right way! We were all a bit nervous at first but the photographer really knew how to get us to relax and out of our heads to get some really amazing shots!

The entire experience was so much fun and I would recommend doing it if you get the chance

We were a little apprehensive before coming as we were not sure what to expect but once we were there we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. Our hair and make up was done really well - like enhanced versions of ourselves rather than made up versions. The photographer put us at ease and we’ve come away with some amazing pictures and a great memory!

Even after arriving slightly late due to train delays we were welcomed by staff and able to go through with the shoot as planned. The hair and makeup was great and the photographer was amazing. We got some brilliant photos for our portfolios

The team was absolutely brilliant! 🤩 From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming, polite, and highly professional. They really know how to create the perfect atmosphere and energy for a photoshoot, making the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed.

The photographer was fantastic with our little one, showing great patience and making them feel comfortable throughout the session. They also did an amazing job of building everyone’s confidence in front of the camera, which helped us get the most out of the experience.

I’ve been to several photoshoots in the area, and I can honestly say this has been the best experience so far. The team’s attention to detail, friendly approach, and ability to make everyone feel at ease truly set them apart. The whole experience was professional and thoroughly enjoyable. Upon entering the studio we were made to feel welcome. Each facet of the experience made you feel at ease from the make up artists to the final process of viewing our photos. Our time with Erica (the photographer) was amazing, she captured us at our best...even the reluctant smiler! We have lovely memories to keep of a great day.

After reading multiple reviews of people experiencing the same issues over and over it seems the only reason Vanity Studios will actually respond is to protect their failing brand image.

I’ve phoned multiple times to be told that the number they contacted me on is first of all, the only number and secondly, have no control over the booking system or the appointment details themselves.

Having been told to email, I did. It’s a month since emailing and nothing, until an automated email was sent asking me to confirm the appointment I’d already asked to reschedule. To top it off, when I clicked the reschedule button on the email it confirmed the appointment.

Not only did I spend £60 on the original package but a further £150 on ‘refundable’ deposits. The worst experience I’ve ever had and I won’t even get anything out of it despite my appointment being next week.

We had a brilliant afternoon at Vanity Studios!
The team were welcoming and friendly. The team that did hair and make up were great, and Gian Luca knew how to get the best out of our curls and coils.
Matteo our photographer was a star too, and was able to work the varying ages in our group.
The quality of the photos were great, and whilst we initially thought the cost was high, Angie worked out a package which was affordable for us.
We had a great time!

Makeup, hair and photo shoot was amazing. But the prices for digital photos was insane! The packages for digital photos was in the £1000s. £100 for one digital photo outside of the free one
