I've had my varal eagle one for a…

I've had my varal eagle one for a minute or two now but gotta say it's one of the best things I've ever owned or bought period! It's almost like a Way of life! I'm able to ride it to work and to the store I haul my children around on it as well and even my wife and I get on and take very wonderful rides the amount of power and speed is fanominal! And I'd have to say at first when I saw the price I was a little uneasy but after doing some studying and looking at other companies and reviews I knew I had found what I was looking for great job Varla on this one.

One of my best decisions, buying my eagle one .

I bought my eagle one almost a year ago . And it’s been a really good experience to me because it’s powerful and strong. I’ve had no issues with it and my inquiries that I’ve had has been responded asap by the excellent customer service department they have . I use my eagle one to go to work and it’s been a really good decision I did . I’m very happy with my scooter .

I received my Eagle One V2.0 about a…

I received my Eagle One V2.0 about a month ago. After about 10 miles the front hydraulic brake sprang a leak rendering the scooter un-rideable. I was unable to correct the problem and contacted support. They were very helpful and sent the replacement part needed via Fed-X air. I replaced the brake lever assembly in about 15 minutes and was back in business.
I couldn't give a 5 star purchase experience because of the breakdown, but the after sales support was 5 star. I own several e-bikes and this scooter is my go to mode now for fun and local (3-5 miles) transportation. I am 73 years old and this thing is a HOOT.

My Varla Eagle One V2 Goes With Me Everywhere!

I take my Varla Eagle One V2 Every Where.
I’ve had my Eagle One V2 for about a month and it already has 100 miles on it. I take my V2 every where. I've made a custom carrier for my truck and my Tesla. Both on road and off road riding has been awesome! I easily obtain speeds of 39 to 42 MPH. I'm 5’11” and weigh approximately 190 lbs. EOV2 has exceeded my expectations! I'm a previous HiBoy Titan and Titan Pro owner and didn’t think a scooter could get any better, but it did with EOV2. My off road riding consist of slight to very hilly, dirt and gravel, fire trials and hiking trails with max grades of 25%-30%. Varla’s Customer Service has been outstanding. Their response has been prompt and they always address my needs in a timely manner. I am extremely happy with my Varla Eagle One V2 scooter and expect to be a Varla customer for a long time. WHAT A JOKE! RIPOFF

I found them on a Facebook advertisement and I thought this would be a great starter scooter. The front motor lasted a week before it just died. I tried to contact their US phone number and all it does is ring. Even their local address they have in California is a generic location. It's not a real location or storefront. This got me VERY worried. After a long wait I finally got a response from their Ai based email system. I'm not getting any help other than how to trouble shoot via videos they put on YouTube. Im stuck with a dud and now I am going to file a claim with my credit card. I bet I start hearing from them once that process starts. I DO NOT recommend them. After reading reviews here on trust pilot, Im skeptical of the positive reviews. I wouldn't be surprised if they are company generated because after all the negative reviews, SUDDENLY there are positive reviews from people with just ONE review and consecutively day after day, vs the staggered negative comments. I WOULD AVOID VARLA at ALL COST!

Thanks Varla!

I purchased my Eagle one about a month ago. It was on my porch within 5 days. I had it put together with everything adjusted to my liking within 20 minutes and was cruising down the road. I've had no problems with the scooter. It hauls my plus size body everywhere I've taken it. Customer service has sent me several after purchase accessories, all of which arrived promptly. I'm so thrilled with my new scooter.

I have purchased 3 electric scooter…

I have purchased 3 electric scooter models from Varla and I have always been impressed with how they handle on the road, and always how safe they are to ride, compared to other models.

The scooters are also really easy to fix when things go wrong, and they are always on top of their customer service. They have really easy to follow, instructional, how-to-videos and it has only taken 3 days when they have shipped me a replacement part when I needed one.

They have a super friendly customer service and get back to you within minutes once you email them about an issue.

It really is worth it to buy from Varla if you haven't chosen your eletric scooter ride yet!

Brand new and can’t ride till they fix problems .

When I received my new Varla eagle one there were parts in the bottom of the box that should have been installed. The steering clamp only had one of the arms installed and 2nd arm was a bottom of box but no nut to be able to tighten the steering shaft properly. After 5 texts they finally said they would send another whole clamp device. I told them I only need the nut, just send me the nut. Biggest problem is the steering binds when you turn it. It binds at straight and about 10 degrees off center L or R. They told me to loosen the notched adjuster just below the steering support. I tried even with 14” channel locks and will not budge. The showed me a video of a guy with a tool turning it snd he put his foot up against the scooter to apply leverage. Number 3 is the seat I ordered. I’m 70+ and need to lower my center of gravity for safety reasons. I’ve told Varla customer service all these problems and not getting any help from them. I said I will take to a scooter repair facility and bill them. I’ve had scooter 3 weeks now and have not ridden it yet. HELP! ! !

I wish I could rate zero stars

I wish I could rate zero stars. I purchased an Eagle one scooter. They advertised that 2 chargers were included. When the scooter arrived there was only 1 charger. When I emailed Varla they said they would send a second charger. It took over a month to receive. I enjoyed the scooter for just over 100 miles. Then one of the controllers went out. I purchased a new controller and now the scooter won't power on. Varla will not warranty the $1800 scooter.

Sent $1099 scooter FedEx without signature required. Product never delivered, and Varla has not been helpful locating or replacing the product, yet is still taking payment.

Had to open a dispute via PayPal, but don't do business with this company.

I just noticed that someone left a 5 star rating that is not a personal experience but clearly an attempt from varla to increase their pitiful score. I would expect more of these fake reviews because none of their reviews are good!

Original review:
I purchased an Eagle one scooter from them and received it within 2 weeks. It worked out of the box but then the front motor broke. I contacted varla via email and received a link on how to take apart the scooter and switch a couple of wires to do a self diagnosis. I did what I was asked and told them the motor was still broke. They would send me a new motor if I paid for shipping from china. WHAT???? This began a back and forth email chain resulting in my decision to return the scooter. With each request they would not comply but offer me free items to prevent the return. I ended up filing a claim with my credit card company. After a month of telling varla I wanted a return and refund they finally complied. This must have been after 20+ emails. I found out they are not a manufacturer but buy their scooters off site similar to wish and then make a modification and put their name on the scooter. The USA address is not valid and neither is their customer service phone number. Stay away from Varla! The Facebook varla group is rife with horror stories

Battery problem

Helloo there, I bought a Varla Pegasus from Eu Varla website and the battery came faulty, it can only charge up to 52 V that lead to only half the autonomy it said it has. I tried to contact varla customer service and they answered me the first time very quickly, and asked for more information like serial number and order number because they didnt have it recorded with my email for some reason because i paid with paypal and that has the email. I andwered the email right away and now its been 1 week and 0 response from them apart from the first email. I would like a new battery atleast to replace.

Don’t buy their scooters !

Don’t buy their scooters. They do NOT deliver what they promise.
They are difficult to stear and they only go 1/3 of the distance of what they write.
They sent me the wrong model and it took over 2 months to get the right one.
But now already after 2 full trips of fully charged scooter I only could drive 35 km.
I contacted them and they only give you poor excuses.
DONT buy their scooters !

Not what is promised on the website

They promised I would get 2 chargers, I didn't. With one charger it takes 9 hrs to charge.
The website states that the scooter goes 40 mph, it doesn't. I emailed and called the support, they said that the scooter doesn't really go 40 mph only 35, so they lied on the website. When I asked about a refund, I received no reply. Don't waste your money on this. It's not as promised and for $1700.00 I should get exactly what they promised.

Incompetent and Dishonest Company

I ordered a Varla Scooter and accessories on 4/12 and paid $1900. It is now 4/28 and I have not received the package due to gross incompetence from the company. The promised delivery date was 4/22.

I would like a full refund as I am not interested in doing any further business with this company.

I was informed on the UPS website on 4/22 that the delivery was not possible due to incorrect information from the sender. I have repeatedly contacted Varla on 4/22, 4/23 and 4/24 and they have been inconsistent and insincere in their responses on the reasoning for the issues. They even told me inaccurate information on how to resolve which contradicted what UPS told me.

This is unacceptable customer service for an expensive product and clearly a bad sign of things to come in terms of reliability if I were to deal with this company regarding product issues or maintenance.

I am not interested in any concessions, just a full refund.
