Deplorable excuse of a company, responsible for the death of a young dog and leaving a family with a £40,000 vet bill. Avoid.

Vergo Pest Management Ltd a woeful company that takes zero responsibility of their mistakes. Shameful

My niece’s young 3 years old dog has just died after 8 weeks vet treatment to try to save her life. This followed Vergo putting out rat poison in the garden without explaining that what they were doing was illegal. They have subsequently refused to accept any liability and have left my niece with a £40,000 vet bill. Disgraceful disregard for the law and disgraceful refusal to accept responsibility. Do not use this company.

This company are an absolute disgrace. They left out rat poison that killed a small dog and are refusing to accept any responsibility, leaving the young owner not only out of pocket for her veterinary bills but also heartbroken at losing her pet. Don’t touch this company with a barge pole. Disgusting behaviour

Beyond terrible company!!! I have never heard of such negligence and lack of customer service. Truly shocking

This company is responsible for our 3 year old dog dying and is not taking any accountability for their actions. Absolute carelessness and and the professionalism is unacceptable. Also, deleting truthful reviews people have left on here, showing their true colours!

Due to their negligence, a family pet has died, at the age of 3!!, after they left rat poison exposed, violating safety protocols. Vergo has refused to take responsibility or cover the £40k vet bill. If you value safety and accountability, I highly recommend avoiding this company.

The CEO James Gilding has alot to answer for. Recently a dog has been killed and multiple poisoned due to negligence from his company.
Where is the accountability and support for his customers?

Steven Cassera has been amazing. He’s passionate and enthusiastic about his work and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend the company for anyone who needs this type of work done.

What a great service from this company! After contacting them about the problem I had with rodents in my shed. It was explained to me clearly and professionally how they would carry out the work to solve the problem. I was told how the product would work and was reassured by the concern they showed to my property and myself. Sure enough……PROBLEM SOLVED!!! Their follow up service was excellent! I’m happy to highly recommend them. Thank you

‼️AVOID at all costs‼️ this company have killed my dog and not accepting responsibility!!! They would rather we take a civil case out against their employee who no longer works for them!!

Vergo left their licensed rodenticide product irresponsibly on site out of a secured box. My dog ingested this and has sadly passed away as a result! They are denying leaving this rodenticide because the employee didn't include it in their report and said that we should take a civil claim out against their ex employee!! Avoid this company at all costs especially if you have pets or young children!!!!

Thomas skerratt , I have had the luxury of this Vergo technician. Thomas’s knowledge , commitment and dedication to his work and customers is just outstanding.

He is always on time , very well presented and honest. Takes time explaining and advising on any recommendations needed and is always full of knowledge.

I honestly can say that Thomas is a huge asset to the Vergo team and he 100% brings the future of pest management every visit.

I highly recommend this technician and his efforts.

Swift response, excellent communication Tommy the Operative was very professional throughout the job.

Tommy is a fantastic contractor, he is always attentive , and makes time to come back to rectify issues and deal with other issues as they have come up in regards to pests. He manages to keep his calm even when there are disgruntled people around,

Part 2 - When the "technician" eventually turned up he did set traps in the garden, a day later he returned and stated he'd caught 3 moles!

However, 2 days later the dead moles are still creating mole hills (I don't think their dead).

Unfortunately, it's my landlords decision to use Vergo Poor Pest Management not mine, so i wont hold my breath until they come back to catch these dead moles.
