I just ate at Thames Court , Shepperton
The service was appalling on a quiet day.
First my drinks weren't served with my food.
So I had to go to bar and hurry them along.
That's 20 mins after the food was served.
I then ordered ice cream which again never arrived.
So again after 20 mins I asked Natilee the Ass Manager what's happening.
She said I will get it.
Again nothing , so ten minutes later I went to the bar.
They brought out two bowls of slop ( melted ice cream. )
I said no that's not acceptable!!
Sack the managers now and save a lovely pub !!

We have visited the Woodside in Worsley on many occasions but last night the service and food left a lot to be desired

I booked a specific table. One all the staff know we prefer. However it was a different member of staff with an attitude who tried to squash us at the back of the room. I refused and eventually picked a different table. ( she had already stated people at ours as a member of staff who knows me told me). She took our order without writing anything down

My partner ordered a meal that came with salad plus a side. All he got was chicken and chips. No explanation of where the rest of the order had gone

My partners mums order came incorrectly. Eggs instead of pineapple. So that had to go back

We had to go and look for vinegar ourselves and then again I had to go to the bar to ask for the bill

Visited Saturday 21 June 2025.
4 Diners.
Meal was fine. Although I wanted the Trio Chocolate dessert and they didn't have it.
My issue is that we ordered from the Weekend Special menu but when I got home and looked at the till receipt found we had been charged full price from the normal menu.
I have now sent 2 contact forms but received no reply.
Disappointing customer service.

Visited the hare & hounds inn at liley mirfield
Booked on line which was realy easy and fast.
We went on the saturday evening and was greeted by a charming young man who showed us to our table.
I asked for a window seat and got one the views across the fields were amazing.
Our waiter was called James and was very polite freindly and profesional.
The meals we ordered were of the saturday evening special menu 3 courses for £30 with a £5 supplement if having rib eye steak.
The food was cooked to perfection & very tasty in every way.
The service we recieved from all involved was exceptional and would like to Thank James for looking after us in a profesional manner and been si incertive.

Just got home from the Vintage Inn at Bathpool, firstly I must commend our server/waitress for the evening, bright radiant smiles, attentive and so very polite, her name was Izzy and perhaps the best server we’ve had for many years.
The food was simply perfect, 4 of us all having something different and four clean plates at the end of the meal…Thank you for a great evening.

Titchfield Mill

This was quite possibly one of the worst meals we’ve ever had, the staff were polite but didn’t listen to our orders and other tables around us.
They looked understaffed which is a disappointing managerial decision on Bank Holiday Weekend.

- We booked the dining room but got sat in the cafe area which wasn’t ideal.
- Our drink order was incorrect.
- Our top two choices of white wine weren’t available, our third choice wasn’t cold when it arrived at the table.
- The quality of food was poor for the price paid.
- We didn’t have the right condiments on the table (salt, pepper, etc) had to go walking round the restaurant to find them.

Left very frustrated and won’t be returning any time soon.
Left me with a feeling that all Vintage Inns offer the same level of mediocre service.

Visited the Bugle Horn on a rehearsal night before grand opening the food was superb our waitress Rema was excellent very attentive and an absolute pleasure to talk to

The Stables Country pub in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow.
Ordered 2 pizza's and a beef brisket toasted sandwich. Pizza's were were black underneath, not many toppings especially that they cost £15 and £17 each. I think the chef needs shooting! Suffice to say only partly eaten.
Beef sandwich, tasted awful....as in no flavour.
Had a diet irn bru, 1 glass of tap water and 1 coke. Bill was £58. Will not return. Place was quiet for a sunny Thursday afternoon - I wonder why?

Have just had a lovely meal and evening with some friends at The Dormouse in York. Excellent service, was serviced by Mariusz and he is very professional, asked all the right questions - condiments, extras, sides - Food was excellent and we all enjoyed it. We have had meals over the last 15+ years at The Snowy Owl at Cramlington and service is poor there. Its certainly gone down hill. The Dormouse is far superior and can highly recommend it. Give Mariusz and his team a pay rise!

Met some old friends for lunch in the Black Horse, Ongar Rd, Pilgrims Hatch, Brentwood, Ex. Very friendly&polite service, had the lamb rump special, very tasty & very generous helping. Great desert as well, lovely pub/restaurant and atmosphere. Highly recommend and best to book.Although very busy there was no pressure to eat the meal quickly or leave the table once we had finished.All in all a perfect lunch and a 5star rating!

Been to the Swallow’s Nest in Romsley for Easter lunch with friends. The food was good and quick but the staff are terrible. I don’t know whether they were holiday staff or the usual ones but their attitude left a lot to be desired. After the meal nobody came to clear the table and , after asking 3 times for the table to be cleared. we had to move the plates onto other table whilst all the staff were gathered together chatting!!

Do not ever be tempted to use their App that cons you into buying more food to get to a level only to be told the voucher is blocked even when it has NEVER been used. Managers are trained to use the "It's a 3rd party App you have to take it up with them" No attempt to sort out the situation. Conned out of £73 ruined the weekend. Living in Wellesbourne we will NEVER use THE KINGS HEAD again. Over the years we continue to give them one more chance after years of poor MANAGEMENT and even worse service

We had a table for 4 at The Angel in Chelmsford, at 19:00 on 5th April 2025, we were sat at table 17 when right in front of us they setup a karaoki machine, we had already ordered our meal but it had not yet arrived, the very loud terrible singing started, drunken people shouting and jumping around, we had to ask to be moved which we were but the noise and revelry completely overtook the pub, my issue is, if I knew this was going to happen I definitely would not have booked it, more dissappointing was that when I was told where our table was, I wasn't even told then, this pub they claim is 'A charming country pub in Chelmsford', we have been going there for years, the food is faultless, staff are friendly and the atmosphere usually calming so, this came as a shock, my colleagues and I will be going elsewhere for our get-togethers in the future.

Absolutely brutal for mothers day, booked for 5.30 and by that time the menu was shortened because they hadn't got the food, but I paid a deposit for that exact menu! My kids went without mains. Drinks would be quicker from deliveroo. Won't be back. North weald

Had a fabulous meal with excellent service at The Nightingale, Evesham Road. We were served by Carli, nothing was too much trouble, very attentive, perfect timing with checks on how the food was, quick but not rushed and the food was delicious! Pricing also reasonable. Will be visiting more!!

We went today to the Poplar Farm near Andover for lunch. It was a delightful meal served by a very efficient waitress called Cathy.
We could not fault the restaurant in any way, we have been to the Poplar Farm many times and have always found the service and food top class.

I would like to say how much we enjoyed our visit on the 16th February. We’re a table of seven and all and food and drinks were very tasty and served up well.
June, our server was very efficient and friendly so it was altogether a pleasant and fun afternoon.
