Super lunch took great care as my friend has allergies. All delish are too much . Staff very nice & v v helpful will be back .

My friend and I had lunch at "The Robin Hood" Rashwood, Droitwich today. The food was very nice, infact we have now booked in for their Christmas lunch.
To top it all Shelly our waitress was really efficient and friendly.

My husband and I went to the Three Legged Cross Inn last night.
The time was 7pm.
We were told that there were no steak meals left .Shocking position for a restaurant on a Saturday night!
The meals we had were of good quality, the atmosphere was pleasant and our waitress (Mia) was pleasant and attentive.

Friendly cheerful staff.
Great selection of gluten free options which is really appreciated as I am coeliac.

Really enjoyed the lamb kebab followed by allotment fruit crumble.

Will be returning to Longridge Mill

After looking forward to going out for lunch today at the Popular Farm Inn in Abbots Ann Andover.
We go to this pub often but today the food was a disappointment Plate Cold Food cold Meat was tough and some of the vegetables were hard. Then ordering a sweet we waited 35 minutes for a service so ended up not having the sweet such a disappointment as this is our local not sure what has happened to the popular farm.

I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent dining experience at your establishment on Sunday 20th Oct at the Marsh Harrier in Norwich. While I have generally enjoyed my meals at your restaurant, I was unfortunately dissatisfied with the quality of the food I received on this occasion. The roast trio I ordered was, unfortunately, not up to par. The meat was overcooked, resulting in a dry and tough texture. Additionally, the vegetables were undercooked, leaving them crunchy and unappetizing. Furthermore, the dish lacked sufficient seasoning, making it bland and unflavorful. I hope you will take my feedback into consideration and make the necessary improvements to ensure that future customers have a more enjoyable dining experience.

we visited the The Thatched House Upminster 18/10/24 for a meal. We were greeted very warmly by the blonde waitress very friendly and full of info and checked for allergens. (Deserves top points for this). She served us explained her shift had ended and introduced us to Sonya (who we have known for many years). Can only comment that we were treated well throughout the meal. The food was if good standard plenty of it and hot
On our arrival . Zoe the manager took the time to acknowledge us despite talking to staff.

I joined Vintage Inns with the app and was delighted to have an email saying I could get £10off for joining .We went to the Travellers Rest in Caerphilly today for a lunch time meal .
We all ordered off the lunch time menu with was two courses for around £16 and a bottle of wine for £20.50. Total bill should have been around £71.50. I asked for the £10 off .
I paid the bill quickly in order to pay before our guest . I paid the bill of £88.50 with a 10%tip - £96!
It wasn’t until I got home I realised we had over paid by nearly £25! When I rang to complain I was told “the offer couldn’t be used with the lunch time menu . …. It was in the terms and conditions “….why didn’t they tell us at the time ! If this is Vintage inns con to get people to join it is appalling ! I was offered no real apology and I guess the staff were laughing their socks off ! I obviously should have read the small print - don’t be fooled by these offers , they are clearly not what they seem !

They forgot the water. We asked 3 times
For the water, Staff just didn’t want to know.Ordered food took an hour to come it was only warm and really poor quality. One meal was sent back, to 30mins to come back. We didn’t bother with desserts.

Lovely. Enjoyed a lovely roast, if you sign up for their newsletter you get a bottle of Prosecco on your birthday!!!!
I had the seabass and it was delicious. Our whole party was very satisfied.

We went to the Three legged cross at wimborne for lunch while in the area for a music festival. Our food took an age to get to us, another group of people who arrived while my husband was ordering were served way before us. Then when our food arrived my order of fish, chips and mushy peas looked pretty unappealing but being in a rush to get to the festival I decided to make the most of it… the mushy peas were so dry they were crumbly , the fish was overcooked as were the chips but im sure this was because the plate had been under a heat lamp for some time.
I decided that I wanted to complain as i couldn’t eat most of the food so took the plate to the bar and pointed out my grievance. The staff member was clearly not happy but gave me a £10 refund… the darn meal was £17 !!!
Oh and the salt cellar was ridiculously filthy and the lid rusty 🥺

What’s happening to this lovely place! It’s at the heart of Rolleston village, but is looking decidedly uncared for. Paint peeling off outside walls, some windows full of rubbish, broken chair's and parasols and overgrown shrubs. Beer is expensive but mediocre.
The only saving grace is the lovely staff, which doesn’t include the invisible new landlady.

Visited Bath on business and found it too busy to get a light lunch so dropped into the Globe at Pennyquick, Newton St Loe on the way back home to Devon. (last visit was 43 years ago in my youth!) Great service! Greeted with a friendly smile and given a menu even though we hadn’t booked. We had the steak sandwich which was cooked to perfection as was my fish finger sandwich both on lovely crusty baguettes with fries. Good selection of beers too. Hats off to Stef who I was told was the chef that day. 5 star, can’t fault. Will visit again when next that way but won’t wait 43 years!

I signed up for the loyalty scheme and received a £10 off £40 voucher. Four of us then went to the Fowlers Farm Inn at Cressing today and ordered 3 lunchtime special meals together with a meal and dessert from the main menu. We had a very enjoyable meal until I paid the bill. This seemed a bit high despite the £10 discount but I paid it together with a tip. On checking the receipt I realised everything had been charged at full price so I returned to the bar to double check the bill. I was informed because I used the voucher it wiped out the 3 lunchtime special meal prices as it would have counted as two offers and only one was allowed. I then pointed out that the bill would have actually worked out cheaper without the voucher and that none of this was explained prior to payment which pretty much fell on deaf ears. I left feeling somewhat ripped off and disappointed especially as I feel it could have been dealt with and explained far better. Hopefully by writing this others won’t be caught out the same as me.
Update….I emailed customers services but never had a response which I think is really poor service and speaks volumes about the company.

We visited, as a party of four, the Golden Retriever, Bracknell.
Following our main meal, we ordered desserts. As no one came to clear away from our main meal, we moved the plates, etc to the only table that was clear of glasses/plates in the area. When our desserts came, the staff were totally unaware of this.
The manager, Brandon, actually carried out an interview in the area we were sitting in and appeared to be totally oblivious that his staff hadn’t cleared the tables. Two of the tables had glasses, etc on when we arrived.
Of note, at no point did any member of staff ask if everything was alright with our meals.
The service was far from what we had experienced in the past!

The pub looked completely undermanned. Got off to a bad start when had to return a pint of draught lager as it was warm. I was informed about a problem with the cooling system and an engineer was called the previous night but failed to arrive. Rather strange that I was offered a pint when they knew there was a fault. Secondly the eaiting times to take our food order, and receive our food was poor abd unacceptable. The food when arrived eas only adequate. Overall a very disappointing visit this time

Although a local to me, with so much choice for a Sunday roast, and based on many previous poor experiences, I had not been on a Sunday for years.
I am so glad I've given it a go again.
Pauline started by helping me put my bike away, great start! I ordered the Turkey breast roast; this turned out to be delicious, excellent in both quantities and quality. Beautifully cooked vegetables and potatoes too.
Great friendly service to match. Definitely give it another go if you have had poor experiences before.

Went to Hesketh Arms Churchtown New Year it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had
We where a party of 4 the waitress was disinterested the entertainment was a man in a corner playing music the food was burnt the steaks where just fat as if they had bought cheap cuts of meat to balance the books and to top it all the price was extortionate needless to say we haven’t been back and nor have many of our friends. It is such a shame when it is our local
They are now refurbing let’s hope they are are putting in new staff front of house and kitchen and also employ a good maitre’de

After previously had an Italian pizza which could have been cooked in Italy we were looking forward to our next visit. Unfortunately things had changed at our local Shaw Farm Venue and was served with a pizza you could bought in any supermarket. We thought this might be a one off poor quality dish so we tried another venue only to again be served with poor quality cold food badly prepared. We gave 3 stars because at both venues the staff were very polite and can only serve what they are given.

Big thanks to Josh at the Admiral Rodney in Loxley, Sheffield, great service, so friendly, nothing too much trouble.
