Recently moved in on the paddocks site in Preston, unfortunately when I moved in my initial experience was not what I expected due to pressure from the sales team prior to completion, then a rushed key hand over and lots of snags being found within days of getting the keys, however this initial negative experience was completely turned around by the site manager (Dave)and quality manger (Lynsey).
Lynsey worked tirelessly to ensure all snags were rectified as soon as possible. All snags were rectified over 3 weeks bringing the house to the standard it should have been at handover.
Due to a busy work schedule I ended up leaving a key with site so that works could be carried out as soon as possible. Throughout the works I was kept up to date with the plan for each day, and every measure was taken to ensure that there was no damage to any personal belongings & that the house was tidied after the works had taken place.
Lynsey has turned what started off as a negative experience, into a very positive experience. I have now been able to start settling into my new home knowing that all issues have been resolved to a high standard.
Lynsey’s efforts over the recent weeks have been outstanding, and have left me happy with my choice to purchase from wain homes.
We recently had a faulty front door which wasn’t closing correctly due to a faulty screw and letting in a draft, wainhomes came out on numerous occasions to assess and make it right & eventually replaced the door for us , which was greatly appreciated as we had a newborn
This was the nw customer care team any issues they are really helpful - Emma, Ciara Andrea Deb and last but not least the friendly John!

Great company.

Gary did a fantastic job sorting out some snags for us. Came in the morning and went well out it his way to come back the same day to finish off. He was friendly, efficient and couldn’t do enough for us. A credit to his profession.

They eventually infilled the area with gravel , despite loads of correspondence with wainhomes they have failed to complete the work.

Mike and Paul visited today to sort out a few snagging issues, and I couldn’t be happier with the service they provided. They were both friendly and professional from the moment they arrived, turned up on time, and got straight to work.
They took great care to keep everything clean and tidy throughout, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, they managed to resolve all of the small issues we had quickly and efficiently, with a great attention to detail.
Overall, a really positive experience – thank you both for your help!

We moved into our new home back in March 2025, and we are thrilled with the quality of the build. It was a troublesome start as our sales rep left the company right in the midst of our purchase, which left several matters outstanding and quite confused. There were also snags as with any new home, and some still to be rectified, but Wain Homes agreed to complete them all without any hesitation. Special mention to Thea, Sam, and Richard for their welcoming and professional demeanor throughout the housebuying and move in process. We will certainly buy a home from Wain Homes again.

We've had a great experience in buying our Wain Home at the Lawns in Broughton. Lorraine in sales has been really helpful and has solved any questions that we've had. Nothing has been too much trouble for Dan and the team who helped us with the snags, identifying them and fixing them along with the tradesmen. Thankyou all. Much appreciated.

Moving into a new build, I expected to have a few issues that needed to be rectified. Steve, the Site Manager, has been so easy to deal with and very helpful in getting the 'snags' sorted quickly. He's been on hand to check the property at a time that worked for me, coordinated all the relevant workmen to ensure any disruption was kept to a minimum and that work was completed efficiently. He made the whole process stress free, which was very welcomed! Thank you Steve.

My partner and I moved into the Meadfields development in March and the customer service provided by Wain Homes has been nothing short of exceptional.

Moving to our new Wain homes we expected some issues with it being newly built. After 2 weeks we had a sizeable list, nothing of anything of a serious nature mainly cosmetic.
From day 1 the communication from the site manager ‘Shingy’ to get the correct trade in to rectify all the issues on our snag list has been first class.
His friendly professional approach to get trades in to remedy all the faults has given us great confidence in our purchase.

We moved into our new build in December at Latune gardens. We can have been treated amazingly by the team especially the site managers, Ste and Shingy. All of our snags have been sorted straight away and nothing was too much trouble to get done. Amazing people.

I just wanted to say a big thankyou to Ciara from Customer Care NW Wain Homes. I moved into my beautiful home in Linley Grange Stalmine mid March 2025. The experience I've had so far with Customer Services has been very good. I had a few items on my snag list which I reported to customer care with supporting pictures and Ciara has been very proactive in ensuring that the relevant personnel have been scheduled , in order to attend to the issues. Nothing seems too much trouble for Ciara, she has emailed and phoned keeping me updated. I am very impressed with Ciara's communication and organisational skills. Thankyou very much and keep up the excellent work.
