Where do I start !!
Firstly by advising anyone whose thinking of using this company and In particular nigel to think again
We took this company on to fit a new icotherm roof , windows and new French doors to our conservatory after a great sales pitch from the above ( in march)
We were quoted £12000 pounds to include the above , removal of old conservatory doors and windows and roof with building regulations to be completed within 4-5 days .
A surveyor James Visited a few weeks later to take measurements and we where then booked in for the beginning April
James and his colleague attended our property at the beginning of April and then on the 3 rd April whilst my husband was working he got a message off Nigel saying the job was complete and asked him for the remainder of the money we owed (we paid£4000deposit ) so
Had a remaining £8000 left to pay
Rather foolishly my husband also a tradesman paid him by bank transfer , however when he returned home the job was far from finished
and quite frankly an appalling job .

After Contacting Nigel ( sending pics and videos ) he was told James was on holiday but would return immediately on his return to correct the work done in error and finish off the job as he totally agree the work wasn’t good
We waited weeks for James to revisit along with Nigel and a date was set for may bank holiday to revisit for remedial work and make the job right
After a couple of hours James left and to be quite frankly the job was left worse than before and more damage to our property became apparent
The whole roof was out of line and in an attempt to realign it all the plastered roof was damaged ,
Floor tiles broken ,doors bevelled , windows out of line .
At this stage Nigel became less helpful and this resulted in my contacting citizens advice and trading standards who advised me on my next steps as we’d already allowed them an attempt to make it right.
On their advice
I contacted an independent surveyor ( Nigel will tell you otherwise ) and got a price off another company to make the job right and these to Nigel
The surveyor found 69 issues concluding in the roof needed replacing and starting again as totally wrong size along with issues with every part of the job
Of which of course Nigel
Is taking no accountability for , he’s actually acusing the people who price the job to make it right and the surveyor of causing damage to his work
Citizens advise advised me to send a letter before action to Nigel asking for a full refund and advised me to go take legal action if I got no response within a time frame
Nigel then went on a rampage saying I’d been demanding money back since the beginning and under the clause of my contract I would now loose my guarantee with him .
He’s also refusing to give us building regulations we’ve paid for even though no-one have even been to look at his work

point blank refuses to give me an address to send legal documentation to
And His address on company houses apparently dosnt forward mail so we’d have no proof he’d receive anything from the courts
I have however got his home address from a previous employer of his and will
Proceed with that
Against all my better judgement I agreed to let Nigel revisit our home with his own surveyor team to view the 69 issues in a last ditch attempt to rectify the problems or refund us our money then we can move on .
to which he’s declined saying he’s not paying good money out sending his workers out when I’m probably going down the legal route anyway ( not James as he apparently no longer works for him )
This has been the worst 6 months of my life and has affected my mental
Health and we are now out of pocket by £12000 with an unfinished job , damaged property , no building regs and no guarantee
My last correspondence was on Wednesday night after finding out his company is for sale and his refusal to finish the job I emailed him telling him I’ve not got
Legal representation and was going down this route to which I received this response

I acknowledge receipt of your intention to commence legal proceedings against Warm Roof Specialists Ltd, the limited liability company that employs myself.
As you are (I'm sure) aware, I personally have no liability, therefore any and all legal proceedings can only be against the limited liability company that employs myself.
While I am director of the limited liability company, on receipt of any legal documents, I will acknowledge receipt and forward to the necessary people to deal with.
If I'm no longer company Director, I will pass on the relevant details to the new company director.
If the limited liability company is no longer trading, before, or during any legal proceedings, on cessation of trading of the limited liability company, all and any relevant documents will be returned directly to sender.

I can assure you I have not mistaken your company for another.

I carried out roofing work for your company on a labour-only, price-work basis, and I have evidence to support this, including messages, agreed work and proof that the work was completed.

You state that you have never had any contact with me, yet I have previously carried out work connected to your company and I am still owed £1,600. I have attempted to contact the relevant people regarding the outstanding payment, but my messages and calls have not been answered.

I was also approached about carrying out further work in Wales, which I declined because the money I was already owed had not been paid.

I am not making these claims without evidence, and I am happy to provide the relevant documentation to Trustpilot if required. I would welcome the opportunity for the company to address the outstanding payment rather than suggesting that I have mistaken you for another business.

I remain willing to resolve this matter professionally, but I expect the £1,600 owed to me to be addressed.
Jake the roofer was working on it he worked on this job from approximately the 3rd of November till the 14th, he came up to a problem with electricity, he asked you to get a sparky in, the review you had on the 15th of November confirms we had a electric problem and Joe came back to finish the job as you refused to pay me and refused to get an electrian in, I also my Chloe working on there and 2 other lads who are my labours. I have definitely not got your company mixed up, I also have screen shots of messages confirming you owe me the money.

Absolutely shocking experience with this company.

I am currently owed £1,600 for roofing work I’ve completed, and despite doing the job, I’m still waiting to be paid what I’m owed.

As a professional roofer, I take pride in my work and expect to be treated fairly. I’ve put my time, labour and effort into the job, and being left out of pocket like this is completely unacceptable.

What’s even more concerning is that another person has now come forward on Facebook claiming they are owed £12,000. I cannot personally verify their claim, but it raises further concerns that I believe people should be aware of.

If you’re a roofer thinking of working for this company, I would strongly recommend doing your checks first and making sure payment terms are agreed in writing before starting any work.

I hope this situation gets resolved and that everyone receives the money they’re owed.

Jake roofer when I done the job and got stuck at the electrical problems i told you I need a sparky to finish off the job you made loads lies up and not payed me and the lads there wages that we worked for and you do it to everyone got about 5 different people saying the same thing Nigel all taking legal action on your and got told your on here ripping everyone off so you can keep the wages but just letting the clients no what your about!!! Thank you Nigel and all at Warmroofspecialists everything was explained to us very well and given options, the crew that came to do the work it was obvious they were very good tradesmen, the work was done to a high standard and looks very good . The lads tidied up afterwards and did everything and more that we asked them to do . We are very pleased with the whole project and have already recommended to friends and family.

We decided to have our conservatory roof replaced. We had spoken to different companies, but this company stood out the best. Using better insulation and materials. Only after a week the work started and finished in 2 days. The lads were extremely hard working. Working through the extreme heat non stop. Absolutely top rated work guys. Once finished they cleaned everything up and asked us were we happy with everything. We are over the moon. The conservatory temp has dropped even in this heat wave! Amazing. If you are thinking of changing your roof this is the company to use. Great price, great quality, fantastic workmanship.

Nigel carried out the initial survey and explained the options clearley before submitting his quotation.
James and Cal carried out the work and did a great job leaving the site clean and tidy.
Its turned a hothouse into a pleasant room. Good job lads.

I am extremely happy with the results of my new roof, inside and out, but also the quality in such a short time. Tom was outstanding from the first day I met him, did a first class job, acting very professionally from start to finish with his standard of work being again outstanding I would recommend Tom if anybody else is in need for a conservatory roof. The company was also very easy to deal with and very professional.

From start to finish this job was great. Tradesmen were top quality and completed the job to a very high standard showing great attention to detail. James and Callum are extremely hard workers, and when they had finished they left the place spotless.

The inside was finished off by Steve the plasterer, who again you couldn't fault. The finish was excellent and again he left the area spotless when he had finished.

I would highly recommend this company and the tradesman they use who are top notch.

We have noticed a huge difference in the conservatory even now whilst decorating it. Today it is very sunny which would automatically have put our conservatory out of use (south facing garden and glass roof means uncomfortably hot) but here we are painting comfortably in the sun.

I have just had a solid roof put onto my conservatory by Warm Roof Specialists Ltd and a can very strongly recommend them. The installation was done by James and his colleague Cameron and they were so impressive. They arrived early each day, worked tirelessly and despite working in heavy rain, were polite, respectful, thoroughly professional and cheerful throughout. James explained everything to me and answered all questions and they left my conservatory and garden immaculate at the end. A five star review.

Can not fault Nigel and his team. From initial enquiry to finished product, everything was done well. Really pleased with the quality of the work and how tidy the team were. Can not recommend highly enough.

I'm very pleased with my warm roof and the work that James and Cameron did they never stopped working and cleared everything up after themselves I just wish I'd done it soon it's so warm and cosy now Nigel was so helpful going through all the options and I'm very pleased.

We are so pleased with our new conservatory roof? it has turned it into a useable room for the coming winter.
From Nigel, who came initially and explained everything to us to James the installer with his colleague Stan, they were all extremely professional and courteous and have done a fabulous job. I would highly recommend Warm roof Specialist to anyone thinking of having a new conservatory roof.

Very happy with the work carried out. Especially James who went above and beyond to get the project finished. The weather wasn't great at times, but he worked tirelessly and even over the weekend including Sunday to get the project over the line.

Whole experience was great from start to finish. Very professional and efficient service. Joe worked very hard, tidied up all the mess and made sure we were happy with everything. Slight issue with electrics but this was rectified quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend this company. The fitter Joe did an excellent job on our conservatory roof. He was polite, smart and very hardworking. Joe tidied up after himself and left no mess. Overall a fantastic job, highly recommended.

We've just had our lean to roof replaced whilst away on holiday for our convenience, tiled & and velux window , first a visit from nigel to explain our options which he did really well , not pushy and good attention to detail , then next was james to do a survey before he started the work , we had a few quotes but just felt these people were the right to choose and we are so glad we did , work wasn't rushed and everything was finished to a high standard , I was kept up to date whilst away with progress photos , james was really pleasant and gave me a courtesy call over the weekend to ask if we were pleased and not to hesitate to get in touch if any problems, thanks lads great job ,done by all ......

The experience of changing our conservatory roof to tiles and then adding the thermal roof on the interior was an easy and stress free experience thanks to Nigel and his team. On his initial visit Nigel offered his knowledge and advice without the usual salesman pitch which was appreciated. He fully explained the process and helped us to choose the materials needed. Once the process started James and Stan were a credit to the company. There were a few hiccups beyond the company's control but James was professional and courteous throughout keeping me informed of every decision he needed to make. I can not fault their work ethic as they worked long days to ensure the room was finished on time (I'm a childminder and needed it finished before half term). I am very pleased with the finished result, especially Stan's attention to detail when it came to the final clean, All areas both inside and out were left spotless, having a pet I looked in detail for screws on the decking and garden . I would highly recommend the company to anyone thinking of changing from a glass to a tiled roof.

On the agreed date and time, James, a very polite and professional individual arrived to conduct the work. He was not in any way intrusive and carried out the work to the highest standard.
