We Buy Any Home Avis 

After putting my details in they gave a figure between £396,900 to £485,100 of course this was ‘too good to be true’ after speaking to someone on the phone, it was clear they were comparing a current run down property currently for sale a few doors away, to mine, which has been extended & good condition throughout - they only offered £390,000 - what a rip off company!!

Assured property value plummeted based on already available surface information before a viewing had even been conducted, less than an hour after signing my contract. I hope for a lot more integrity in a company next time.
Just to be transparent they give a £25 Amazon voucher for reviews. Despite this it is still important to have a honest opinion.

So far so good very speedy and everybody keeps us very well informed and guides us through each stage.

UPDATE : After a straightforward start, on the day of exchange/completion, WBAH dropped the offer price by exactly 50 percent, having already come down a bit when they realised that this was a unique property. What had been very straightforward, prompt and courteous response to my queries initially and rapidly put things in motion turned sour. Clearly the expectation was that I would be so desperate as to accept anything. I wasn't and am delighted I have now sold elsewhere at more than WBAH offer.

Do not use or trust this company at all especially T***** who is the property analyst.

I appreciate many have had a positive experience but this has been absolutely awful experience. And I am not alone.

They knew I was vulnerable personally and financially and they used this in the most unkind, unprofessional way against me.

I agreed a price, we exchanged and I was informed numerous times even on the 11th hour that there was no outstanding issues and we were good to complete on Monday lunchtime. That was on the Friday afternoon. Just before lunchtime and completion time, T***** a property analyst (please do not trust this department. What you see is definitely not what you get) produced a so called environment report, which I have later found out was done well before exchange (nearly 3 weeks before) but he said they have only just found out that there was environmental risks in terms of flooding. They all knew about this weeks before and kept it from me until literally on the 11 1/2 hour when he slashed the price by more than half. I went in shock. For a multitude of reasons I needed to sell and like I said before was vulnerable. He raised his voice at me while I was so upset and crying.

I made an awful mistake by going with it. When you are that upset you can make a decision that would be completely different if you weren't shaken up.

Since then I have found out that the local and government environmental reports completely contradict what their report states. There are no environmental flood risks.

They were also supposed to pay me the remainder of the money when they sold my flat. Can I get hold of them? Will anyone answer the phone? Will they answer my e-mails? No to all those questions. They are now completely airing me and owe me money.

I have sent numerous e-mails asking for answers and an update to my situation. They have not responded to any of my e-mails at all until I wrote this review. Still no customer service or updates.

DO NOT TRUST ANYONE WHO WORKS THERE

I didn’t no the first thing about selling a house and rang the first number that came up . So glad I did ring We buy Any Homes as they did all the work I didn’t once feel stressed they updated me every step and even sorted me a solicitor . The staff are very nice and helpful especially Rosie she credit to company . Highly recommended

For years we had felt a bit trapped in our house, it needed so much work to make it sellable and ultimately we didn't have the money to do it. We turned to 'we buy any home' initially to see if it was an option for us, and ultimately it was the route we went down.

The offer that came for our property ultimately was fair and you have to remember that of course they are a business and to do that it needs to be worth their investment to make a profit.

While they are a quick buying company it actually took 10 months from first contact to the sale which was all down to me. There were times where I wasn't sure I could make it work, didn't know what I wanted to do and didn't know if I could afford it. The team Chelsea and in particular Tom were wonderful, there were a few times I asked if I could be given a bit time to think about things and they were always patient with us while always maintaining their interest in the property.

When we decided to go ahead again the support was amazing, I had several anxieties around the process, convinced myself it would never go through but Tom was always on hand with a bit of reassurance.

I'm pretty confident without 'we buy any home' we'd still be stuck in a house we didn't want.

Is it for you? Ultimately if you're wanting a big profit probably not. But for a quick relatively hassle free process I'd strongly recommend.

Experience so far, has been polite, professional and helpful. They call and reply to emails quickly, Chris and Aleksandra explained the process very well. Very happy so far, low but, fair price offered for a quick sale. I will update my experience, if or when the sale of my late parents home completes.

Worst experience of my life, they did exactly what the reviews said and that I ignored. Kept lowering the price at critical final moments when the movers turned up and house was empty. £75,000 below original offer. Would never recommend even to an enemy.

From the first initial call to completion the whole process was so simple. I was kept informed regulalary and everything was managed very professionally. Greg Pearson was extremely helpful and always on hand for any questions or concerns. Thanks to all the team for completing the process so quickly and smoothly.

Do not engage with this company!
My wife has tried and failed to work with them in regards to selling our property and they made an offer kept us on the hook and everything is fine nothing is wrong right up to the afternoon of completion. On the completion day a magic list of problem appeared and a written report for the estate agent with false information in to which the answer from WeBuyAnyHome was to take £26k off the already low offer.
To state this is disgusting doesn't do justice to mine or my devastated wife's feelings of which my wife blames herself for.
For the staff to even make that phone shows a lack of understanding what impact they have on people.
Please be in the knowledge that when we rejected this disgusting offer they were able to make a slightly higher yet still insulting offer and complete the next day.

Safe to say we have found yet another reason to loose trust in everyone and warn anyone expecting a smooth process to know on completion day a phone call will be made to you and you must be prepared for the impact this will cause.

Judging by the other reviews I will stress they will likely comment stating they always go through the proper checks and likley post some information which could constitute GDPR breach. Last part of this is no matter what you need to be prepared with a figure you value the property and then deduct 30% to get about the initial offer and on the day of completion you will need to be ready for the further for over 20k further reduction

I had expected to get less that the property was up for sale for but the offer went much lower after they reviewed their offer. I decided to proceed and had been told we’d conditionally exchanged but due to issue out of my control we buy any home pulled out on completion day.
The process went generally smoothly but I was often in the dark about what was happening and didn’t feel in control at all.
