From hero to zero in one fell swoop! So disappointed to find the grill section and 1/2 chickens gone.
They just seem to be pushing the pizza and from what we observed the toppings were sparse to say the least. I ended up with chicken breast, bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce. Beige and average at best. Won’t be rushing back.

Wetherspoons at the George Hotel, Bewdley is the best place I have found for breakfast anywhere. Food, Staff, Prices, Surroundings, Customers etc are all excellent.
The one thing against the George is that disabled drivers with a blue badge cannot park in their car park, even if you have a regular breakfast.You will fall foul with a fine from the country’s ace Euro Parking Company who are the worst people on Trust Pilot.

This is for Bury st Edmonds ... Terrible lifeless kids serving you. No smile no hello. Train your staff Wether spoons.

It had been a while since we had a chance to go for a meal at the Saracens Head, Daventry with my Dad as I’m in kidney failures but today was a good day we both fancied a mixed grill so we checked the menu out no section from on the grill or anything about steak nigh so we asked the manager We no longer have something from on the grill or steak night company wide so not only can you get a Sunday Roast but no longer can you get a steak or anything from the grill unfortunately we will go elsewhere time to boycott Wetherspoons

On a visit to Windsor, my wife and I took refreshment at the King and Castle Windsor. Having ordered our drinks we sat at at table on the forecourt, enjoying our drinks and chatting to a gentleman on a table next to us. After around 20 minutes the manager appeared and told us that the green chair, which was in situ when we arrived that the gentleman was not allowed outside and he could lose his licence, no further explanation and did not offer to get the man another chair but went on to say we should go inside or drink up and go, which we objected to as we were happy where we were. The manager started to get more aggressive and eventually told us to drink up and go and don't come back.
As an 80 years old I could not understand the managers attitude towards us as we were not loud, just having a quiet drink.
Having looked up the reviews for this pub, which were not great, I decided to email a Mr. Hutson Chief Executive but I guess he was too busy organizing the pens and pencils on his desk, as he passed it straight to Customer Services, there reply was,

When a person enters a pub they do so because the premises licence holder has allowed that person into the pub and it is therefore legally entitled to decide who is allowed to enter a licensed premises and who is not.

As premises licence holder for the King and Castle, Windsor, the company has reviewed the circumstances of your visit and we confirm that you will not be allowed further entry to the pub due to your behaviour on the date in question.

We appreciate that you will not be happy with our decision, however it is not one that we will overturn.

In view of the above we consider this matter closed and will not be entering into any further communication regarding this issue.

Unbelievable, that no consideration was taken for the managers lack of tact and the decision to believe him against three earnest customers. We have since visited a Wetherspoons in Leatherhead and they have green and black chairs out on the forecourt.

What I want to convey more than anything is how a member of the staff at The Drabbet Smock in Haverhill, Suffolk, should be considered for Management. I have to be critical of the fish and chips served up to my wife and me. You would not give it to your dog. Thankfully, the lady who brought it to our table must have seen our faces and reported the reaction to another staff member. In no time at all, Harry came to our table and could not do enough to put matters right. He took the most over-fried batter and chips away very quickly and replaced them. He apologised on behalf of the kitchen staff, defusing the terrible experience. This gentleman's persona was one of class and took away the anger within. A massive 'Thank You' to him. We have been back because of him. Harry recognised my wife and me, he came to our table. We went away contented. Peter Gilbert.

Was in Leeds with my sister for a Bryan Adams concert, and celebrating the life of my late Brother In Law Nic.
While we were waiting, I noticed a Wetherspoons, as it was a nice day I suggested a celebratory glass of wine and a meal. We went in and were met by the most charming lady I have ever met, she took our order and made a recommendation on the wine we had, then we went outside to sit in the sun. We browsed the menu and ordered our meals at the counter, took about 15 minutes to get it so REALLY quick and it was delicious. My sister has eating issues so for her to finish the entire meal is incredible and testament to how nice it was. As it was only £2 more for another glass of wine with it, we got another drink and sat enjoying people watching. Staff asked what our plans for the day were, then wished us a great concert and expressed hopes we "Did Nic proud."
What a lovely start to an incredible, albeit emotional, day!
Oh, and if Wetherspoons read this, please pass on that we did him proud! RIP Nic, you're very missed!

I ordered on the app but took a call before completing so got 2 emailed orders , the app has only one in the order history. So no problem we had 2 rounds at once, but, my debit card was debited 3 times. I went in to see the manager this am (who has no ability to refund ) so he helped me fill in a form for head office who will call me. I just think I should have immediately received my money back , have showed details and been verified by the manager today so shouldn't need to do this again on the phone. Their process and customer experience is poor.

Rude degrading treatment after asking for proof of age, then refused to look when offered. Had no problem accepting payment for alcohol from the believed underage customer disregarding breaking the law for serving alcohol to a minor. When this was pointed out the entire party was informed they wouldn’t be allowed alcohol either. Rude demoralising treatment to 3 disabled people with extreme anxiety disorders.

Refused to serve my foreign friend because they said he was drunk. English is not his first language. Learn to diversify Spoons! 😡😡😡

All now 1 possible 2 bar staff in every pub we visit Paignton Abergavenny Neath Swansea etc it now seems priority is given to the app customers dreadful waiting to get service at bar 1 exception Red Lion Morriston always good service food etc really need to look @ more bar staff on busy days!!!!

Guess what - no rice available!!!

Went to The Picture House in Sutton-in-Ashfield today, waited nearly 50 minutes for food to arrive, when it did it went straight back. Ordered a large mixed grill the meat was overcooked, was confirmed when I turned all the meat over to discover it was black and I mean black, the fried egg was practically a "scab" and the garden peas dropped from a huge height and covered every bit of the plate balancing on everything else. I've eaten here loads of times without issue but quite honestly the chef on duty today should have a career rethink along with the less than friendly manager who gave the impression I was being refunded from her own pocket. Bad day maybe, but I wasn't the only one cancelling food or complaining about it.

went to wetherspoon for breakfast me and miss i had a full breakfast it was lukewarm miss had breakfast wrap lukewarm it was not packed in there but this is not the first time there

People were smoking by an open back door holding their cigarettes inside the door so that cigarette smoke came into the pub. When I brought this to staff attention, they said the smokers were in the correct place and that there was not a problem.

I think Wetherspoons are losing the plot. The number of times I go into various pubs in my area and ask for a pint of real ale and it's not on or runs out. I like real ale and I'm forced to drink some other rubbish.

Leamington Spa wetherspoons - Always very busy with good atmosphere. Great value for money for food and drinks.
And now some constructive criticism
Bar often busy - Bar staff must quickly serve customers - Often they are stood in groups yapping at the bar.
Clean tables more often rather than let the tables get cluttered with used food plates and drinks glasses.
Overall still a great place to drink and eat and staff great when you do make a request to clean.
We always go there as a family and like the place for its value for money

And the manager was almost smiling of my complaint, smiling without sympathy. I was shocked of the food I ordered and it looked disgusting, and then the manager was reluctant, but did take it away, added an extra burger, and then charged me for the extra burger.. burnt, small, hard roll and very few chips.
More so like a kids meal and very bad presented food.

Thorpe park Cleethorpes. Wether spoons in the park charge 3 times the amount of any other wether spoons I've been in. £6.80 for a pint of lager. Rubbish service and rubbish food. Don't bother
