Great price for great whisky that I can't find anywhere else, and with a simple and clear interface with quick service.

I have been a buyer for more than 3 years and recently started selling.
My main concern and issue is with shipping destinations.
I have raised the issue several times for EU lots not being able to ship to Greece.
There is no extra regulations or customs charges just like any other Eu country.
Still shipping to Greece is not available.

Your shipping invoice is wrong and no one fix it

The storage fee is way too higher or even highest in all my other companies wine and whisky storage. The management and the system of the stock is chaos. From beginning when they change the new system then some of my important whisky were missing in my stock list and luckily I found it and informed them to correct it but when I ordered to ship those whisky then after more than 3 weeks later they inform me two bottles are missing. So I feel this is not a reliable company that charges too high storage fee with chaos management. But finally they said they are willing to refund those whisky costs, shipping cost, insurance and storage fee I did paid, and hope they really will pay.

***Update information. Whisky auctioneer is not a reliable company, their promise broken again, they are agreed to refund me the compensation within 5-10 working days due to they loss my storage bottles in their warehouse but now already over 10 working days and do not have any information that the fund transferring to my account and I’m going send the case to my solicitor to ask the compensation now. Because the situation started from 12 June till now already over two months, Whisky Auctioneer still not solve it.

The cost to ship is far out of line with other whisky sites

Was an easy way to pick the lots for shipment on the website, allthough not very obvious to find the option under the "bulk" button ;-)

Basically 5/5. All perfect including service, information, packaging and delivery. It would be 6/5 If they would calculate the approx overall costs including commision, insurance and delivery costs and show it on the"winning" page. It might "surprise" beginners If they forget to keep those things in mind.

I got the longrow 18 of 2021 edition instead of the 2024 edition that I payed for

Super end-to-end experience and service supported by great professionals.

I like the user-friendly application and the fact that the auction periods aren't too long. At some auction houses, an auction can last several months. It’s also great that you can frequently find rare items. The only thing I would improve is the somewhat unnecessary extension of the entire auction; other auction houses handle this better by extending only the specific lots that are still receiving bids.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ HONEST FEEDBACK THAT WAS LISTENED TO

I was frustrated after being outbid at 23:25 — over four hours after the advertised 7:00 PM close. I reasonably expected the auction to finish at the time shown, and losing a lot so late while asleep felt unfair.

Scott contacted me directly and we had a really constructive conversation. He explained the system clearly, listened carefully to my concerns, and acknowledged that the advertised closing time could easily be misunderstood. He agreed that wording on the lot pages should be clearer — showing that the closing process begins at 7:00 PM rather than simply "closes at."

What impressed me most: he picked up the phone, listened properly, and took my feedback seriously. That is how you treat your customers. I still believe the site needs to show the full picture clearly — but I respect how they handled this personally. Fairness goes both ways.
I look forward to the next auction, this time I will be prepared.
