It’s a shame the price is offered as annual in comparison websites but not available when buying the insurance. All other aspects of said policy are yet to be experienced.

Just set up via Go Compare and diverted to Whistle and Wag’s website so simple and easy thereafter. The agreement was in plain English with simple to follow bullet points regarding the cover itself.

Be aware of this insurance they do not let vets or vet hospitals deal with claims. You will have to pay out your own pocket first. So what’s the point in having it ?

In a world where insurance is complicated, this was easy, transparent and exactly what we needed.

Not worth the paper the policy is written on - saying that a visit to the vet on a totally unrelated issue 8 months ago ‘could’ have been the problem now and guess what, claim rejected 😡. I have had pet insurance for 13 years for my cat and never claimed once but now he has an ongoing condition that is going to be expensive - no help from this insurer! On receiving the ‘standard’ reply that as it was a pre-existing condition, which he had not had diagnosed nor had he been tested for, and despite being extremely healthy for 8 months before taking him to the vet last month, I am no further forward and still extremely unhappy with this company

No, I do not want policy docs emailed to me I would like a hard copy of the docs please. I want to be able to claim via hard copy claim form for my vet.

We've been with them for 1 year now, and every single aspect of our experience with them has been phenomenal.
The process of signing up has been effortless, their website is simply beautiful and amazing (speaking as a web developer myself), and has been solid every time I've used it. It's also simple to use, and I just love that they use a password-less login flow - enter your email and they'll send you a link to access your account.
When I've had to make a claim they were wonderfully supportive, they helped me every step of the way, including clear instructions, being understanding and even chasing up the vet who was slow in filling out the required form with claim information.
Lastly, the price is great as well - this is what initially drew me to Whistle & Wag, but I ended having the best experience I could have ever hoped for.

We have recently completed a claim and were paid roughly what we expected so we are happy. We received a personal email afterwards saying how they hope our cat is now ok. My reason for not giving 5 stars is that you can't ring W & W. Our vet and myself tried to get pre authorisation for an expensive X ray but couldn't get a quick enough response.
