I ordered a pair of shoes to be delivered to the UK and despite the fact that the shoes arrived quickly and are absolutely gorgeous the fit is quite tight. The reason for giving only 1 star though is because of the warning label on the bottom of the shoes informing me that the shoes contain chemicals that cause birth defects and reproductive harm, why would anyone even sell shoes that could cause these kinds of problems to your health?? I can't get my head around it and it's a real shame as the shoes are actually beautiful. I now have to go out to find another pair of shoes that won't sterilise me. My advice to windsor - don't sell toxic products, not that difficult.

I purchased a dress for $99 expecting it to be good quality. Received the dress and it was poor quality and I probably could have bought the same dress elsewhere for a third of the price. Insultingly if I want to return it I have to pay $15. Total rip off. They are happy to provide free shipping if you spend over $100 but won’t provide free returns. They need to use better quality material.

On Aug.16,2023, I had asked a clerk to hold items before the close. I gave my name. I came back 10 minutes before they closed and my items were restocked. 5 ladies in the store no one tried to help all they said was the items were put back. So I find them hurriedly taking them off the hanger to assist the l cashier. She said, " if you slamming things I'm not going to wait on you". I told her I was helping you and put them on the side not at you or in front. I told her don't show out. The other workers maybe the assistant Manger said, don't you show out. I said just ring me up so I can go. The entire crew was rude and useless. I will take the items and never return.

Although my item unfortunately didn’t fit (large bust!) I was really impressed with the quality of the item in general, I’m in London UK and I received within 6 days!

I am only dissatisfied with having the £15 return fee deducted from my balance which I hope can be waived as their customer support did offer me this option via a different return method but I had already returned it.

Overall I would use them again.

I am extremely displeased with my initial order with your company. Regrettably, the dress I received did not meet my expectations, prompting me to initiate a return. However, to my astonishment, I discovered that $15 was deducted from the dress payment. This deduction is unacceptable and has deeply disappointed me. I want to convey that, based on this unfortunate experience, I will not be using your services in the future.

I was unsure seeing all this reviews but this is my honest opinion from a first time online shopper at Windsorstore.
I unfortunately listened too much on these reviews that said the dresses fall out too small. So I ordered a size medium instead of small, although the size guide told me to get a small. This was a mistake as It was a tad too big. Therefore don’t listen too much on the reviews but the actual sizeguide.

I ordered the fast shipping for 20Usd and although it was a lot, my parcel arrived literally 1.5 days later. I ordered Wednesday evening and received my parcel Friday morning. The dress itself is exactly as described. Overall a good experience.

After reading the reviews I was regretting my decision on ordering from here. However, it took about 2 weeks to arrive (international order to the UK) and was thoroughly surprised with the fit and how lovely the dress looked!
The quality of the dress is really good, very soft lining and the sequins don’t fall off when I put the dress on (bonus!), with adjustable straps.
Will be ordering from them again !! :D

Could do with a cooling off period before shipping - appeared in a UK search and all prices in GBP - ordered boots as per UK size as nothing to indicate US. Contacted them within 12 hours (Sunday) to point out mistake (US size will be 2 sizes too small) - can’t do anything, have to wait for them to ship it half way around the world in order to send back. Seems like a real jobsworth response when you could just amend the order at the packing end. What a waste of time, effort and carbon footprint. When will I learn to check for reviews before using a website for the first time?! Mugged off. Can only hope they are decent enough quality to stick on eBay when they eventually arrive.

Please don’t use this company if you live in the UK trying to return items is impossible! Will never use again.

After waiting patiently for over a month now I still haven’t received my order. DHL customer support has told me that my delivery isn’t with them yet and I need to contact Windsor. I did and was given no help through customer support. All I want to know is where my order is and why it hasn’t come yet. US to UK shipping takes longer, but this is ridiculous

The dress looked lovely online.. however was very cheap and flimsy when it finally arrived. Arranged a return which cost more nearly than the dress did. Absolutely disgusted with the whole service

Don't believe the reviews. We ordered from Windsor on 12/5, it was with us by 24/5. Fit was perfect, colour deep and true. Yes, it is not a fully lined and expertly tailored dress - but you are not paying £300+ so your expectations should be in line with the price. We are very very happy with the dress, it looks stunning, and for <£80 excellent value. Recommend and would order again. Thanks Windsor.

After reading some reviews I thought "what have I done, my daughters prom is in a few weeks!" And we live in England. Two weeks after ordering it-it arrived! It's perfect. Just what we ordered and fits like it was made-to-measure. Would definitely recommend and would order again from you-thankyou. Victoria. 🙂

So after reading the bad reviews i was so worried about my dress not arriving. However, this was not the case! The dress is perfect and was delivered earlier than expected, which surprised me because i live in the UK :-).

The sizing guide is wrong on this website and when you try to leave a review it doesn't allow you. They take returns but charge double what they charge you to send the item out in the first place. I ordered a size small and it was tiny, even my 12 year old daughter couldn't put it on and she weights 4.5st

i was hesitant to order from this place due to the reviews being so mixed. the dresses were all really nice and such an affordable price, i ordered my dress for prom and i was worried it would come much later than it said and not leave time for tailoring. it came in a week!!! it even came two days earlier than expected which was a lovely surprise. i was able to track it the whole way. i ordered on the 11.05.23 and it came on the 22.05.23 although it was expected on 24.05.23 overall im very happy and excited to wear for prom (quality was also good and i can even wear no bra because material is thick but not too thick) i was also scared when i struggled to put it on so if your worried about that i would size up. i’m a xxs to xs and i ordered xs and i had to squeeze it over my head as it didn’t go over my bum, but that was only because the dress i got clings to you on the waist which i LOVE. no need to get it tightened. the only thing i have to do is shorten it as i’m 5 foot 🥲.

I have just returned my 3 dresses I ordered and have been charged £31.45 for the privilege! This is absolutely disgusting! The customer service email is appalling,I asked a question and just kept receiving the same response as if it was just a generic email being sent,which didn’t actually answer my question, I was offered a courier to collect the parcel from my home address but it would’ve been anytime between the hours of 9am-5pm! How does that work for people who work full time and are not at home??
Daylight robbery for the returns charge and based on that I will not order again!!!

Kept on cancelling my order with no legitimate reason,wasted my time whilst trying to look for prom dresses,would send me emails saying my order is confirmed and then its cancelled,when they said that it was because of a billing verification check but that doesn’t make sense because they took the money out of my card,customer service weren’t helpful at all and just wasted my time

This place is just the worst. I can't wait for my daughter to outgrow this store. My daughter texted me from school, thrilled that a prom dress she had really wanted was back in stock. I ordered it and texted her back right away that I had gotten it. Then, a minute later, I saw how long their shipping took and decided to upgrade to express shipping. The customer service representative told me this wasn't possible, but canceled my order and told me to reorder it. A second later, the dress had already sold out. I don't know why the customer service rep couldn't have told me that the dress was about to sell out. I don't understand why it wasn't possible to undo my cancelation, given their mixup. I don't understand how Windsor can be so efficient about cancelations, but totally incapable of adjusting shipping rates or warning me that a dress is in low stock. All this occurred in less than five minutes.
There should be some version of the Hippocratic Oath for customer service: first rule is DO NO HARM. If I had just not called customer service, or had at least not taken their advice, I could haven gotten my daughter the dress.
