Underhand practice...Beware
Insurance not due for another ten days but got a email today thanking me for renewing with a completely unknown company, had to do extensive research to find it was Wiser choice insurance.
No proper renewal notice or NCB details just what the monthly payments were going to be. I clicked on a link to find more details to find a page asking me to sign the agreement with no other options.
This company needs to be reported to the Financial ombudsman.
Hence to say when I got home I cancelled the new policy and cancelled my direct debit.
Not a chance of ever getting my custom back after this underhand way of doing business.
Shame on you

As the review has come via a third party, we have been unable to look into this for you. If a policy is up for renewal with us, we do send out notification 18 days prior, with a renewal price and confirmation as to how it would be renewed. We ask that if we have offered auto renewal biased on your previous preference, that you contact us before the renewal date to make us aware that you do not want the renewal. Reading your comments, it may be that you are referring to a credit agreement if you have requested that you pay monthly via direct debt. Again, if this was a renewal, you may have paid the same way previously, if it was new business, that would have been disclosed before your policy was set up, as you would have had to agree to the terms and conditions. If you could contact us via your portal, the live chat facility or email we can investigate this further for you.

Took three attempts to contact. Clearly totally uninterested in the customer once they have your money. Avoid like the plague!

No one answers online chat and no other way to change your policy.
Multi bike insurance, submitted to take a bike off the policy months ago, yes still on.
trying to add another bike, have been waiting for online chat for 35minutes still no one answers.
NO TEL NO TO PHONE THEM ON. WILL NOT BE BACK AFTER MY POLICY ENDS. REALLY POOR SERVICE.

A call was also made, but we were unable to speak with you, and left a message. Very Poor - Excessive Fees
Very poor, had a policy for 15 days I believe it was and had to unfortunately cancel the policy. The whole policy was £142 for the year, I got a refund of £20. £120 for 15 days of insurance, I questioned this and it's all made up of fees £75 to cancel a setup fee of £25, it's just a ripoff like most insurance. The industry needs better regulation especially when it comes to charges. Anyway rant over I won't be using them again.

We have reviewed your policy and the cancellation breakdown. As the policy was cancelled outside the cooling-off period, we can confirm that the refund issued was correct.
Our cancellation fees are outlined in our Terms of Business which you have to accept before purchasing the policy.

We’re supposed to be renewing our insurance with them which makes me feel I need to look at other much better options than this poor showing

If you were looking to make a claim, all the contact numbers are on your policy documents, and the claim notification would not be done through us, but via the first notification of loss team. A very nasty experience
Cancelled a policy and gave full permission for final payment of £60 odd pound to end policy as it was a monthly payment scheme. Two weeks later I receive an email that payment was not made. Login into portal and see a letter that the payment card was declined which is complete lies as I pay by direct debit and gave consent on the portal that final amount would be taken on the usual payment date. Went to pay online and they had increased final payment from £60 to £85. No emails, no phone calls prior to this to even say there was a problem. Tried to ring and unless you are taking out a policy or reporting an accident no one wants to talk to you. And don't even get me started about their chatbot. You would have better luck just bouncing your head against a brick wall. Please do not make the same mistake as me and avoid this company like the plague.
Update: Finally after a long wait for to speak to someone on chat. By this time I had already payed the extortionate amount of £85 to cancel the policy. I may not have mentioned earlier, but the email I had received that same day had the delightful title 'Your unpaid balance has been passed to our debt collectors'. For someone with an unblemished credit history, I did not take too kindly to this threatening behaviour. The guy I finally spoke to on chat said that a refund for the £25 would be issued within the next 5 - 7 days, no explanation, no apology for any upset caused, just like talking to a drone. We will wait and see the outcome.

The card we had on file was valid, however there was no consent to use for recurring payments, which is why we were unable to take the payment for the outstanding balance. The direct debit is taken by Premium Credit Limited, as they are your financial provider who deal with your credit agreement. Once a policy is cancelled, they pass any outstanding balance back to us from your loan. We can see that you did make the payment via your portal of £85.98. The agent that you dealt with over live chat has refunded the additional £25.00 back to your card. The interaction with the agent will be checked, and feedback will be given. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us via our live chat again, and we can run through our procedures with you.

I am on hold……… STILL
I have been on the phone for an hour and 8 minutes and going around and around and around and when I do get to speak with a person or even advised by the auto answer to log in through the online portal you can’t. You can’t access the online portal from outside of the uk it appears and as I am abroad and need a copy of my policy no one and nothing is available to help which is at best mildly disappointing but actually appalling service unless this review generates a response very very soon I have an escalating problem.

Only took out insurance yesterday
Only took out insurance yesterday and the details from them are incorrect. I used the chat line and was told to amend on line. This was not possible. No phone number to call. If I cancel this insurance after 1 day ( insurance does not start for two weeks ) they want £40 admin fee, a joke. Perhaps not a wise choice Wiserchoicebike.
I still stand by the above, when I chatted to Wiserchoice all options to correct my details were unavailable and the representative told me he couldn’t help. On the following Monday a different representative explained what the issue was, so I didn’t have to correct anything.
But not many companies penalise customers who wish to cancel under the legal cooling down period.

We can see that the quote is from one of the aggregator websites, and all the information that is on your policy comes from there. You are registered for the portal, and should be able to make any changes to your policy that way, alternatively, one of our agents would be able to make those amendments for you via our live chat facility. The fee is different to make the change yourself via the portal. As per the terms of business that you agree to when purchasing the policy, there is a £40.00 cancellation fee if you do cancel before the start date of the policy.
