Good communication and service
My order of the Fristads reinforcement pads has to be sourced from Europe, and I was informed it would take about a week, which it did. I received further notice when they reached the UK courier.
The pads are designed to be heat applied, but as I was fixing them on a synthetic material, I sewed then on.
Overall, a very good service.

My experience wasn't very good but not…
My experience wasn't very good but not necessarily because of the staff. I ordered a Regatta jacket, it was a bit slow to arrive but came okay. However it was far too big (much larger than normal) so I had no choice but to return it. I received a refund okay but by the time I'd paid postage both ways, out of £23 spent I received a £13 refund. I bought Regatta because I thought the sizing should be consistent but this experience has made me realise not to risk buying online from companies that charge for return postage.

With regards to paying for all shipping - we'd absolutely love to be able to offer this. But the reality is that we simply aren't able to do so.
The hard reality is that if we want to be able to sell fantastic deals like a softshell jacket from a brand like Regatta for £13 there simply isn't any scope to pay for shipping as well in that price. We'd actually be making a loss every time.
The price we charge for shipping is actually subsidised and the cost of managing and handling is higher than we charge. We do this to try to make delivery and returns an affordable price for customers. The only money that you've paid here is the subsidised shipping - some of the cost we have incurred ourselves in getting the product sent.
That all said, we do fully understand the irritation of having to return things when they don't fit quite right. While we have customer reviews on the products to try to help provide feedback, we're looking to add more info on the product listings themselves to help customers know whether something is typically seen as larger or smaller than they would expect. Watch this space for that.

Very helpful in resolving customer incompetence
I ordered a Craghoppers shirt online from WWG. I was told a couple of days later that the colour I wanted was unavailable. I was happy to order a different colour and WWG gave me a 5% discount code to apologise.
When I ordered the new shirt I forgot to enter the code. I rang WWG and they refunded me the value of the discount.

Super Comfortable boots
The Company… Great easy to navigate website, goods received promptly and well packaged. Will definitely use them again!
The boots… Felt a bit stiff out the box but within 10 mins of wear these boots had become supple and were on me to the end of the day. Far more supportive than the Le Chameau boots they replaced, plus all the advantages of a safety toe for wearing in a farm setting. Brilliant boots.

Shambles. Do not use this company
Ordered and paid for trousers and hi vis polos, all in stock on the website.
3 days later they tell me trousers are out of stock and do I want a refund for them and still take the polos or cancel whole order?
I reply the same day saying yes I still want the polos but refund the trousers. Silence for days. Email again asking what’s going on and finally get a reply stating the refund has been processed and the polos will be dispatched first thing Monday morning. This is now Thursday and I’ve just had an email saying they are preparing to dispatch them. 12 days from date of order and nothing received but a promise they are dispatching them.
Absolutely useless. Will never order from them again.

We've been over this internally to work through what has happened here as this is far from what we expect. Your review here is fair and I can only apologise as this experience fell well short of our normal standards.
Your order encountered not just one but two unusual occurrences. The first was caused by a member of staff needing to take short notice leave for family reasons. The second was a system glitch caused by a change that had been rolled out. A change that ironically is designed to improve customer experience, but ended up doing the opposite as it delayed the order for a couple of days.
I know we've sent a small token gesture as an apology. We also just wanted to reiterate that we're sorry that you were inconvenienced here.
