World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. We have recently expanded our product range to offer beautiful gifts to cater for all occasions.

The wording of a plaque bought to…
The wording of a plaque bought to compliment a rose purchase was supplied with the wrong text. This purchase was for an Anniversary celebration.
There was a lack of attention to detail and a failure to quality check the correctness of the order before dispatch.
Very disappointed with World of Roses processing systems.

Ordered four rose and was disappointed…
Ordered four rose and was disappointed with the quality. Three of them arrived in pretty poor condition and had damage. I’m not sure either they have sent the correct rose as it looks nothing like the one I ordered last year and order four more to complete a run along the side.

Good communications and timely…
Good communications and timely notifications regarding delivery. The roses were well protected and packed. Considering the adverse weather conditions, the plants are quite healthy, with minor sunburn/ crispy leaves. One plant needed a little tlc to remove what looks like powdery mildew. I’ve prepared their final positions in the garden but will keep them in their pots until conditions are more favourable for planting. Every day they look more healthy.
