World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. We have recently expanded our product range to offer beautiful gifts to cater for all occasions.

Roses all lovely for special occasions
Roses all lovely for special occasions. Arrived well packed,and one gift wrapped for a friend who had lost her mother. She was delighted with the rose named after her late mum and was overjoyed at the thought of it flowering each year in her memory.

Rose good, scrappy card…
Prompt delivery but the value of paying for a named rose was not worthwhile being a scrappily printed piece of thin folded paper with the name on the reverse.

I couldn't be happier with my new rose
I couldn't be happier with my new rose. It arrived in a heatwave but was very well packed, healthy and only needed some water to recover from the journey. A couple of weeks later, and a move to a new pot, it is looking beautiful and already growing well with tiny buds forming.

Easy to order
Ordering was easy but I can't comment on the rose bush as it was a gift and I haven't seen it or heard of it's quality from the recipient, although I know it was received and appreciated.

The rose arrived in good condition but missing personalised message which was important for us.…
The rose arrived in good condition and seemed very healthy, doing well at our friends house.
I would have given 5 star rating but sadly you missed the personalised message off…. This meant a lot to us as the rose was for one of our best friends who died suddenly aged 55 and a gift for his wife with a special message.

Ordering was easy and delivery in good time. The overall condition of the rose was good but was difficult to get out of the box for me. The rose is now producing wonderful little roses I purchased this in memory of my late wife Pamela who passed in July. Overall I am very pleased and look forward to many years of blooms of roses.

I found this site through google
I found this site through google, I wanted to send a gift abroad. The site was easy to use and lots of choice. Lots of updates were given throughout the delivery process and there were no problems with delivery. However, when my gift arrived, it was not what I ordered, it was a different plant, altogether. I contacted the company who promptly replied and arranged for a replacement to be sent out. I was pleased with the resolution, so I am giving them a good rating, as apart from that little mistake, it was a good service and the communication over the problem was very fast and polite with an apology.

My friend was absolutely delighted with…
My friend was absolutely delighted with the rose bush. It was beautiful and arrived within 3 to 5 working days. I wasn’t, however, happy with the delivery company. They just left the parcel on the front door step and didn’t even ring the door bell.
There was one tiny issue. My friend couldn’t find anything to say who the rose bush was from. I thought I had included that in my order, but that may have been my error.
