World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. We have recently expanded our product range to offer beautiful gifts to cater for all occasions.

My friend was absolutely delighted with…
My friend was absolutely delighted with the rose bush. It was beautiful and arrived within 3 to 5 working days. I wasn’t, however, happy with the delivery company. They just left the parcel on the front door step and didn’t even ring the door bell.
There was one tiny issue. My friend couldn’t find anything to say who the rose bush was from. I thought I had included that in my order, but that may have been my error.

My best decision. Personally suitable. A forever gift! Don't waste time and money on flowers that will die.
Absolutely the best decision! I spent hours looking at flowers for my Sister when my Mum passed away. When I found World of Roses, there have lots of named roses, suitable for different reasons and anyone's situation. I spent less on the Rose and personalised wooden plaque than a decent bunch of flowers would cost. Very appropriate, personal and will last forever. The wooden plaque added the extra emotion. Great value. Delivered with care and great service. Many thanks!

I ordered a Rose plant, it was ruined when received, I emailed the company and it was dealt with straight away, and another sent within 2 day's, I would say not to buy from them again. BUT I sure will now.

We’ve used World of Roses several times over the past year. Recently, we ordered two roses—one was delivered, but the other went missing. When we reported this to World of Roses, we had to argue with them to prove that only one rose had arrived, which was backed up by the delivery notification. We’re still dealing with the issue.

Rose is fine, but took far too long to reach recipient
My friend is very delighted with the rose plant, which she says is lovely. And that's what's important, really.
What was disappointing is that it took ages to come through, and I'd paid a lot of money for postage. I expected it would be with her within a few days, and it wasn't. When people are bereaved, comforting gifts that show you care are important and need to be there asap, not a week plus after they've been ordered.
