World of Roses started growing roses in Bedfordshire in the 1960's. The family run business was started by Paul Chessum initially producing roses in his parents back garden. Over the years, the business has evolved and expanded to become one of the largest growers in the UK and Europe and is now in its third generation in the family. We are specialist suppliers and growers of premium quality British roses, supplying garden centres and our own online store. We have recently expanded our product range to offer beautiful gifts to cater for all occasions.

Whilst it is a bit more than I usually can afford for flowers, as this was a gift and living plant, it will be a gift that keeps on giving. It was delivered on the day I asked and have been told it has already started budding. I chose the specific rose as a platinum anniversary gift for my grandparents 70th Wedding Anniversary as it had a name to match the occasion. When thinking of prices, be mindful of the amount of time staff have had to nurture it to get to that stage.

My friend who received the rose for her birthday said the leaves were yellow in.places.zit was bent over but hopefully will recover.She said it looked like it had been in the box for a while.

Replacement and Quality
Had a problem with the original delivery by Yodel / In Post. Box was delivered, supposedly in a safe place (it wasn't). It had Yodel tape on the top but the box was upside down (clearly marked which way up). Opened box to find roses upside down and badly damaged.
World of Roses sent replacement without delay. Package arrived safely. Two roses, both to be given as presents. Healthy plants. Beautiful roses. Recipients loved them. Top quality.
