I have being with many insurance companies and finding 123.ie the best for quotes much cheaper than other.. service is absolutely outstanding as they say behind every great company there... Voir plus

First of all would like to outline no claims bonus, its only 6 years max. Doesn't matter if you never did claims 12 + years....
Second when something goes wrong its nearly impossible to reach out. Break down assistance...aprox 15 min on the phone and lady still didn't got my location? Is it a joke?! Treated it like casual car wouldn't start at the driveway and I can go home and chillax with cup of coffee while waiting on a tow truck while I did explained that it is EMERGENCY SITUATION AND IM STUCK ON THE FAST LANE OF THE MOTORWAY WITH A MINOR IN THE CAR! Cars engine shut on the speed on the fast lane blocking steering... I was lucky to avoid accident... The agent who was answering the break down assistance was the worst I ever had to deal. And luckily enough after aprox 15 min wasted on useless conversations when I have a bit calmed down from a shock I figured out that have to call local Garda for help. Garda was the only one who really helped and rescued us. Break down assistance rang me 3 hours later not even knowing my location and asking for directions. Is it a joke? Was it expected for me to stay in the car with minor for 3 hours on a busy motorway in fear that someone can crash in us?
Okay car was finally towed. Next few days I was trying to call insurance to find out what is my options because car's engine blew up. 20-30min on the phone waititing multiple times and no answer. Send email, its been a week no reply. Just shocking!!!

I was a client of your company for over 10 years, and I appreciated the service during that time.However, in recent years I noticed consistent increases in my policy price despite having no claims. I contacted your team for clarification but did not receive a clear explanation, which was disappointing.This ultimately led me to explore other options, and I have since switched to another provider with more competitive pricing.That said, I would have preferred to stay with your company, and I hope you take this feedback into account especially in terms of pricing transparency and communication with long-term customers.

I was renewing my policy with 123. I wanted unlimited mileage this year. I was given a quote by two other insurance companies for unlimited mileage for 620 & 640 euro.
I emailed 123 stating I was given these two quotes for unlimited mileage. That I wouldn't be renewing with 123 unless I was offered a better deal with unlimited mileage.
They responded a few days later with a quote of 599 with no mention of a milage limit anywhere. Even before I purchased, I asked them for confirmation of no milage limit. They never responded.
I received an email from 123 this week regarding mileage consumption. I asked them why were they sending milage consumption emails when I had unlimited mileage. They responded that I still had a millage limit.
They basically hoodwinked me into the policy.
Buyer beware dealing with 123. I wont be renewing with them again after this nonsense. They're clearly a dodgy a crew.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my complaint regarding my motor insurance policy.
It has now been over four months since I first raised this issue, and unfortunately, it remains unresolved. During this time, I have repeatedly received standard acknowledgment messages stating that my complaint is being investigated and that I will be contacted. However, no meaningful follow-up or resolution has been provided.
Furthermore, my requests for evidence and clarification regarding the issue have been consistently ignored. I have not received any substantive response addressing my concerns.
This level of service is unacceptable

Declined For Commercial Van Insurance due to my Van being over 15 years old..
Van has current test and is in better condition than most 5 year old Vans ..
It may be more for the reason that the Van is a six seater Crewcab..🧐

They were good without any issues, however when we did not go with the quoted renewal due to a cheaper quote with another provider, 123.ie decided to write to our mortgage provider that we have breached conditions of our mortgage due to no valid home insurance.
This is the first time experiencing this shallow conduct from any insurer all these years of owning a property.
Update: you must be the first to do that. You did not provide that information to us like others do. Too bad not sure if to consider 123.ie again even if cheaper.
