Somewhat disappointed with security of personal belongings as needed to take them into scanning room.

My experience was amazing for the situation I am in. Having never had an MRI before, the alliance team explained to me thoroughly what was going to happen and what the follow up procedure would be. Thank you for being so thorough and understanding. I have since had follow up treatment which is probably saving my life. Thank you Alliance Medical Colchester general hospital.

I cannot fault Alliance Medical staff at Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup. They are compassionate and caring. My appointment was booked quickly and a few days before it, I received a personal phone call asking me if I was still ok to attend, followed by a reminder the day before my appointment. I arrived for my appointment ten minutes early and shortly after booking in I was escorted to the MRI area. Again I found the staff were a credit to Alliance Medical.

Due to the nature of an MRI SCAN I was advised by the Physiotherapist to expect a waiting time of 6-8 weeks for a CHRONIC HIP ISSUE which has seen me attend A and E TEN TIMES in SIX WEEKS with the pain varying from 4/10 to 10/10 in its intensity…….
I requested the contact number for the MRI Department and on calling was told that I had an appointment on 13th of April 2025. This was great news as it was less than two weeks in the future !
However the receptionist asked if she could call me back in half an hour (Which she did !) and she asked me if I could possibly attend on the following day at 07.00 to fill out the forms prior to having “MY” MRI at 07.15 !!!
I was SO impressed with the SERVICE that at long last would hopefully see a resolution to my PAIN which has been consistent for so long …..
Special mention please for ANGEELA and PAM and all the other team members at the MRI Department at WEST MIDDLESEX HOSPITAL !!!
