Ashley Stewart Avis 

I'm not shocked to see this rating. I was going to post my experience and found that other people have also endured nightmares brought on by this company.
My experience is simple. I purchased something for my aunt for Christmas. She specifically asked for some items from Ashley Stewart. I placed the order 11/21 for her Christmas gift. Christmas is 12/25 according to customer service, I would have had to return the items by 12/21 which is clearly before Christmas.
They didn't offer a store credit, exchange, or anything. I would have gotten my aunt something else because the items didn't fit. Just sorry we have policies. This is NOT how a company that wants to provide good customer care/service treats their customers. Especially during the holiday.

I would advise everyone to tell their friends and anyone you encounter that mentions a desire to order from them to NOT! also there is a reddit forum where people also reviewed this company poorly. I legit have never experienced this during the holidays. Fortunately for me. I don't shop here normally so not coming back will be easy!

I did express delivery 12.95. I need help to retrieve my order# set up chat. I requested a refund because based on the time frame. package did not make it in time for my trip. It was gift for my niece. Chat continued to copy and paste responses. Would not give me a supervisor, no operators ID and asked if where in the states. I find if outside of the states i have the hardest time getting a refund. it clearly states----Shipping Method

Delivery in 2-4 business days, Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays on orders placed by 2:00 P.M. ET.

He gives me FAQ link says different. we dont have a store local and this used to be my store. But because of the customer service expertience, Im not shopping here any more what if something else goes wrong. Even when I called in I had the hardest time getting the ladies name kept repeating info just like the chat, kept copying and pasting his answers. After a 45 min chat he finally told me his name after I confronted him he was not being truthful.

Returned a dress over a month ago that came to me very wrinkled and looking like it had been previously returned. Still have yet to receive the refund. I keep getting the run around that they are processing it. I will never order from them again.

Used to be a really good place to shop but other companies have come in with better pricing and quality items. I just received a new belt that's already tarnished and their response was to send back a label for me to have to use my time to go return it, not to send a replacement and a label to return the damaged one.

I ordered $118 worth of clothes from Ashley Stewart. UPS delivered it to the wrong address. Not one time did AS offer to resend the package. I filed a claim, and was told by UPS that AS would not send the claim paperwork back to them. Two months later and I still don’t have my money or my product. I will NEVER shop here again. Their claims department doesn’t care and the company as a whole could care less about its customers. All I expected them to do was offer to resend the items. They refused to do so and as a result of me having to be the victim and orchestrate my own return, I will never forget how I was treated by their customer service department.

My package was delivered to the wrong address (vacant house). I’ve contacted USPS and Ashley Stewart representative no results. I’m out of 176.00. Just getting the run around; everyone is so sorry but can’t help.

They never delivered and 3 months later have not refunded me almost $200.
They keep emailing me the same standard response “we’re working on it, please way 10 days” and nothing.
They're absolute crooks.

Did they change their manufacturer. Their clothes use to be beautiful. Now they look cheap and ugly. Always having a sale and I can never find anything to buy. It's all ugly.

The sizing is so strange. I got a pair of Legendary Boot Cut jeans in size 16 Reg that fit so well, had good stretch. But then I got a pair of Fearless Skinny jeans in size 18 and I can't get into them, they can't get past my thighs. How do I size up and it's smaller?

I should have looked at the reviews before I made a purchase. Ashley Stewart says one thing on paper but another on the phone. I had a big order same size but one dress was way too big and I was no told they no longer do exchanges but my order form says that they do. When u call you get someone in a foreign country that had no desire to help and tells you there is no supervisor to help with this matter. Same on you Ashley Stewart for misleading customers

Ordered a few items from their website and on the day of arrival somebody stole the items off of my porch contacted Ashley Stewart they told me to contact USPS I was told after their investigation they determined that the items were delivered to my porch but they don't know what happened to it after that so because it was Mark delivered there's nothing that they were going to do about it so I don't know if the carrier stole it or if it was actually taken off the porch by somebody else I contacted Ashley Stewart just to see if they would send me some replacements I was told that the only way they would do that is if I was to pay for everything all over again I asked to speak to a manager the lady claimed that they were busy and I wouldn't be able to contact them through phone and she basically said that because it it was left up to USPS to deliver my package and that because it was marked delivered that they were not going to replace them nor issue a refund or do anything to help solve my dilemma

I was not receiving my statements for my credit cards,which resulted in 2 late fees. When I was made aware of this, I paid everything off. They cut my available balance to $100. Then they closed my account without notice 2 years later.

Customer service representative By the name of Jam was very rude then hung up on me

Don't buy from ashleystewart.com they send you clothes with tags they are damaged ripped and then charge you $10 to send it back and the address on the label is closed down and they won't assist with any other help be aware.

Szing is wildly inconsistent. A 2x can be closer to a 16, and vice versa.

I ordered 2 pair pants and a shirt, they were all way too big and long. I followed the return process, went to UPS to return, 10.00 was immediately deducted from what I had paid, they received the merchandise bac on June 18, 2024 and I still yet to receive all of my refund. Their customer service is ridiculous. When you email more than once, it goes to a different person and they just keep requesting the same info over and over. I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING ELSE ONLINE FROM ASHLEY STEWART. It always amazes me how quickly and without problem, money can be deducted from your account but you have to go thru ---- and high water to get it returned to your account.

Purchased a pair of jeans, and needed to exchange for one size smaller. immediately began the process, was informed I would need to find a ups store to process it and the estimated return would only be half of the money I spent.
Not only that, looked at the exact same item within the next few days it had a price increase of $12 had to pay this extra hike amount for the same item in a smaller size.

I changed my review if I could give zero star I would. The clothes look HORRIBLE like granny clothes the quality has declined and I know many has had a problem with Ashley's credit card being ripped off me as well I paid my bill got a statement as zero balance then I get a bill saying I owe I always pay on time been charged late fees I refuse to I said I'm done NOT SHOPPING ASHLEY'S STEWART AGAIN!!!!

What I'll like to know is why did Ashley Stewart stop selling shoes? Also I'm finding that the quality in their materials are not as nice . When I first started shopping at Ashley stewart as a plussize women. I loved that they catered for all Women and ages. Infact I still have a lot of items from early 2000 in good shape. I hope my review helps and please bring back your wide with shoes. I still like shopping with Ashley stewart they do have great sales considering other plussize stores..just would like to see some improvements width selections, and bring back shoes and better quality of materials.

Ordered an e-gift card. Customer service on the phone and chat are both saying it was sent. I checked order status and it’s saying it will be sent. I haven’t received a confirmation that it was processed and sent; neither do I have the ecard. They can’t provide me details or proof of delivery. Getting the run around. Will be disputing
