AuPair In America è l’agenzia che mi sento di consigliare a qualsiasi persona voglia fare questa esperienza, a mani basse. Fin dal primo momento sono stati tutti disponibilissimi, hanno risposto a qualsiasi domanda io avessi e sono sempre stati di grandissimo aiuto. Silvia è sempre pronta ad aiutare e non si perde mai un minimo dettaglio. Io personalmente sono stata associata ad Aurora, la mia interwier, anche lei è stata dolcissima nel momento dell’intervista, e quando ci siamo viste di persona ha risposto ad ogni mia domanda e mi ha tolto ogni dubbio.

My experience overall has been great I am still an aupair but I have enjoyed every part of it, the staff is amazing and the job itself is amazing!!

The program itself it great. Coming from Canada, it was extremely easy to get my visa and everyone I’ve worked with has been great! The experience has been incredible and I love my placement and I got very lucky with my host family. From my agent in Canada to my community counsellor everyone has been so helpful and resourceful. This program has been running for decades now and I think it shows through how structured the program is, however, I think there’s always room for improvement so if I could give feedback I would say that the minimum stipend should be raised, although I get paid more than the minimum I hear many other Au Pairs don’t and especially living in upper classes parts of America it can be very expensive.

I was an Au Pair in 2013/2014 and even after 11 years I‘m still in contact with my hostfamily. I recommend Au Pair in America because they are always there for you! It didn‘t matter at what point in the process I was, they helped me to find my perfect family! Even when in the U.S. I always had someone to reach out to that worked at Au Pair in America!

We have had a profoundly disappointing experience with Au-Pair in America and cannot recommend their services. Unfortunately, we encountered numerous lies and a lack of transparency throughout the process. It seems that no thorough investigation is conducted regarding issues that arise, leaving us feeling unheard and unsupported.

The staff, in our opinion, display a troubling indifference towards host families. When we raised our concerns to management, it was disheartening to see a clear lack of follow-through on their part. This experience has left us feeling frustrated and disillusioned. We encourage potential host families to carefully consider their options before engaging with this agency.

My year as an au pair in the United States was an extraordinary journey that profoundly changed my life, and thanks to this AGENCY, everything was more than perfect! They supported me from the moment I asked for information, through the interview, the departure, and once in the United States, my LCC Dominique in Arlington, VA, always took care of all of us. Thanks to this agency, I found my host family, the best one! They made me feel like part of the family from day one, and I am still in touch with them, knowing that I will always have a place to call home.

I achieved many dreams while in America: I attended an American college, made friends from all over the world, and have even met some of them again in different parts of the globe. I visited places I had always dreamed of, traveling to 25 states out of 50, and revisiting some multiple times! At the end of my year, I spent 25 days traveling along the West Coast and Hawaii.

Being an au pair wasn't always easy, but it was in those challenges that I found my strength. This year enriched my life in ways I could have never imagined and will forever stay in my heart.

Being an au pair has been an incredible experience for me. I'm happy I chose Au Pair in America, I was very well informed and guided during the process before coming here, and I had the opportunity to match with a lovely family who has been very welcoming during this year and a half that I've been with them. Being an au pair has for sure been a rollercoaster with learning and experiencing a new country but I have had a great experience.

I regret to say that our experience with the coordinator for au pairs in our area was highly disappointing. Throughout our interactions, she demonstrated a lack of responsiveness, which was especially concerning given the nature of her role. When our au pair reached out for assistance, the coordinator not only failed to provide the necessary support but also responded with unprofessional and unpleasant emails. This behavior is unacceptable and undermines the trust and reliability we expect from a service meant to ensure the well-being and support of au pairs.

Instead of feeling supported and guided, our au pair was left feeling frustrated and isolated. It's crucial for coordinators in this role to exhibit empathy, prompt communication, and a willingness to help. Unfortunately, our coordinator's actions were quite the opposite.

I hope that steps will be taken to address this behavior and ensure that future au pairs and their host families receive the respectful and helpful service they deserve.

This is my second time as an AuPair with this agency. The first time I was blessed with a WONDERFUL family and the same for the second time. I am very happy to be here and always think it was my best decision ever!
Being able to see new places that we only see in movies, but also getting to know real American families, their customs and living with them! Thanks to this I met wonderful people, a second real family and friendships for years! I also fulfilled one of my biggest dreams and saw New Orleans!😍
To everyone from the bottom of my heart, if you are thinking about flying out, I recommend and encourage you to make this decision. You will not regret it!

This agency is one of the worst for Au pairs. They don't care about families or Au pairs, only about money and rematches. Even if the Au pair is endangering your child, you have to house them while they do nothing but stare at their phone until you find a replacement AND you have to pay them and feed them while they are doing nothing at all for you. The agency provides no support and is inept at vetting Au pairs. The Au pairs lie about driving, experience with kids and more, the agency doesn't care or support you as a host family. I do not recommend this agency. Please avoid them if you care about your sanity, home, and kids.

Sono venuta a conoscenza di Au Pair in America sui social ,successivamente con mia figlia abbiamo partecipato a una fiera dove era presente anche lo stand di Au Pair in America e la dolcissima Silvia ,la responsabile e' stata subito disponibilissima,ha raccontato la sua esperienza con passione e dedizione a mia figlia che ha poi deciso di partire.Nei mesi successivi mia figlia ha compilato tanti form,tanta burocrazia e Silvia e' sempre stata presente!Adesso mia figlia e' in America e tutta l'organizzazione fino a destinazione della famiglia e' stata perfetta dal biglietto aereo richiesto appositamente dalla Sicilia fino all'orientation a New York,adesso e' in Pennsylvania dal 29 maggio e si trova molto bene,Consiglio a tutte le ragazze che vogliono fare questa esperienza di risolgersi a Au Pair in America

I'm a first time host family. And I will never return to this program. In my experience, AIPA has clearly not fully vetted IQ, the local LCC is utterly in effective at best and completely unsupportive of Host Families.

I don't doubt there I things j could have done differently from the start as I am a new HF, but I know I've poured my heart into making everything work and have experienced problem after problem. I cannot wait for this year to be over, this has been completely draining. I look forward to hiring a local Nanny. I'd never advocate this program to anyone.

recently I was marched with a interviewer with the name "Keagan palm"

who sent me breakdown of the program and every other documents that has to be provided!!
but I felt suspicious after the fee breakdown section are all to be in south African rands and not UNITED states' USD

please how true is this interviewer or the person in particular

I just come back from my Aupair year and it was a better experience than what I thought!
I saw 13 states in 1 year and split my experience between New York (where I went through a friendly rematch) and Hawaii… my dreams comes true, and it end up been even better than my imagination.
I just want to say a huge thank you to this program, that gave me the opportunity to live all of this.
