Au Pair in America Avis 

APIA is the best agency!! I definitely recommend it. The prices are way cheaper and affordable compared to other agencies. I've been an Aupair for almost 2 years in the US and whenever I needed help they were there to help me.

Au pair in America gave me support doing my rematch. My LCC talked to me for hours until I was feeling better.
It makes my experience as an Aupair much better

Just returned from my experience and I would recommend it to everyone for personal growth. I was looking for a cultural program, that would give me the opportunity to travel, learn about new ways of thinking and improve my level of English. I came across several agencies, but what made the difference was certainly the service and how we were followed during the entire experience. Thanks to Silvia for her professionalism and sweetness.

La mia esperienza con AuPair in America è stata fenomenale! Le ragazze con cui feci il colloquio, ormai nel 2016, ricordo che erano super carine e mi fecero sentire subito a mio agio. Consiglio a tutte le ragazze che vogliono prendere un anno sabbatico di partire per questa esperienza: non ve ne pentirete!
L’unico consiglio che do all’agenzia è quello di permettere anche ai ragazzi di poter partecipare al programma: quando sono partita io nel 2017 non c’era questa possibilità e non so se a distanza di così tanto tempo hanno dato la possibilità anche ai ragazzi di poter partecipare ma se così non fosse sarebbe bello poterlo fare. Magari è un tipo di esperienza che potrebbe interessare anche a loro.

Hello everyone. I am currently being an au pair. I would like to share my experience so that I can also help other girls who may find themselves in the same situation. I experienced the rematch. It was a friendly rematch thankfully. I don't hide that the emotions I experienced were harder than I imagined. But it's up to you how much you want to commit to finding a solution. If you care, you can find it. And I had the support of the staff in Italy especially Silvia, she was phenomenal. She didn't make me feel alone, but supported. In the end I found the light at the end of the tunnel and soon I will leave for my new adventure in the direction of the new host family! Good luck to all of you!

The program not only helped me to improve my English, but also made me grow as a person. One of the best experiences of my life. I was able to travel and meet incredible places and people.

I was only 1 week as an Au Pair in the United States because the LCC that assigned me wrote a letter saying that I was not suitable to take care of children because I had psychological problems, they never did an evaluation to determine if this was true, they just made the decision to cancel my exchange without giving me an exact explanation of the situation, they took me out of my hots family's house with lies, saying that they gave me a ticket to Colombia so that I could visit my family for a week and that I would return, but in the end it was never thus, they were dishonest and did not make sure that my mental health was good or bad with a professional who attested to it.

I had the absolute best time in the US with APIA. I started before COVID so I actually was able to start my year in NYC and I had a blast. After that I stayed with my Hostfamily for two years and I still visit them once a year. To be honest there were things where I think APIA could've done better. For example, I think my first counselor in DC was NOT helpful AT ALL. But I was able to work with my family together and we did great. It just made me sad for all the au pairs that would've needed her help. And I've seen Au Pairs leave just because she was not good at her job.
But overall APIA was a good choice and I'll always be grateful, that I was able to get to know my family through them.
So if you're thinking about working with children and having an amazing time do it and be an Au pair!!!!

I flew to the states when there were covid restrictions and ban and the agency was very helpful with managing it all.

I had the opportunity to match with great Families. Which help me to improve my English conversational skills. Also, I made a lot friends from different countries which was awesome interact with them.

It was a great and wonderful experience! Living in another country with another family allows you to open your mind and discover the person you really are. I had the best host family who I am so thankful for.
