Absolutely terrible you will regret…
Absolutely terrible you will regret getting involved with barclays believe me I have other credit cards and never had a problem whatsoever with them but Barclays is on another level of regret and if you want to get in contact with them it's like trying to contact aliens and lots of automated bots and if you do finally get in touch they sound like Indian scammers that can barley string a sentence of English together but ye they have froze and closed my account because supposedly I missed a payment but then I payed and got my account back on track only to find my card just declines because it has been blocked even though I ended up making payments and having cash available on the account but after getting in touch with them they have told me the only way to get the account back working is to pay the full amount of the credit card I'm sorry but that's not how credit cards work I have 5 credit cards with other companies and they wouldn't dream of making me pay off the full amount of the card because like I said that's not how credit cards work nobody would have one if that was the rules I was simply making the monthly payments and just because I miss a payment you expect me to pay off the entire credit card limit is that some kind of joke why wouldn't they just add interest and make me pay that they are an absolute joke

It’s a mixed bag…
Really efficient set up for applying and being approved. Very difficult to speak to any one if you have questions or problems. Most of the call time is trying to get past the AI Bot then there are very long call waiting times to speak to a human being.

Very easy process
The whole process was very easy to do online also recieved my card and pin quickly all instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Abysmal customer service
Abysmal customer service. I've wasted hours and hours trying to connect my bank feed with my accounting software. When I raised a help request, I was answered with some slop that shows that they didn't even read my request (I had specified my accounting software, and they pointed out it wouldn't work with other random softwares) it was confusing so I don't even thing it was written by AI - which would have done a better job, and it told me to do exactly what I had done (and already described to them) then said if I still had a problem, I could submit a whole new ticket instead of a followup.

Very bad card machine
Very bad card machine. Don't recommend to anyone.
I have serveral contracts and they can't pass me through security after 7 calls. Its 2026 and there security questions are childish. After confirming that the DD amount to the penny is correct and the bank details i have provided is correct they still can't verify me. This is ridiculous a joke.
They need to sort out this. I will be cancelling 7 of my sites with barclaycard.

My review would have been better had I…
My review would have been better had I not been forced to revert to using an App for all future usage of my Card, with no option to remain able to review my account on a laptop. All my other accounts allow me this facility and therefore am disappointed with Barclaycard after 40+ years of loyalty.

Had problems with the Barclaycard app
Had problems with the Barclaycard app, had 4 entries showing as being paid twice, have called customer services and have been told that on their system no double entries, but wait until the statement comes in.
