It was very easy, not complicated and if you are interested in anything like gym swimming etc you should definitely use better for sure.

Good pool which wasn't crowded. But changing room was dirty and staff not very helpful. Disappointing that you need to buy a non-refundable token for using the lockers. And once you open the lock... Voir plus

Our son had an accident and can't attend the lessons and I have contacted Better the staff Charmaine who replied and arranged everything possible. She was amazing. Thank you so much

Good overall
The app works well and the membership options are good. It's a little pricey but everything is nowadays.
Maintenance of one specific centre could be better, e.g. shower out of order two weeks running, lock missing on one changing cubicle door, floor of pool dangerously slippery for aqua aerobics.

I joined east ham for the proper boxing…
I joined east ham for the proper boxing bag . It was rest day yesterday. Been to the gym today and they have replaced it with a kids one I am so angry perthetic. I did my 8 rounds felt like I did 4. They just taken the gym over you what to keep your customers. Why should I pay you my hard earned money. Why screw up a good thing perthetic.

Helpful staff, variety of machines
There are good helpful staff, who are available to give assistance. There is also a good variety of machines and different sections, however there aren't always enough of each machine.

I recommend better uk to all my friends .one thing I would like to say is I work 8 to 8 so when I reach there at East Ham better uk it will already be 9.15 so I can only get 40min time to exercise. Is there any solution for this ?

The East Ham Leisure Centre opens at 6 am from Monday to Friday. Opting for a morning visit could provide you with more time and a less hurried experience at the centre.

Bonus point ladies gym area
It's really good. The environment the staff is very good and nice. The gym equipment are good and maintain. Best thing is that they also have only ladies gym area.

East Ham free weights area needs some…
East Ham free weights area needs some improvements. The place is quite small, located downstairs so workout has to be split into two sections ( some done at gym floor upstairs and some downstairs) with little mess. Plates were thrown everywhere on the floor, as well as bars.

Not in great shape
Only one of each strength training machine. The large amounts of cardio machines are quite old and often covered in dust and don't seem to get cleaned.

My Customer Service Experience
It is a great experience to come across a customer service adviser who will go the extra mile to satisfy a customer. Sarah has done exactly that for me. After my membership was abruptly cancel, she made all the effort to put everything back on track. I am really honoured to have met a customer service adviser like Sarah, who is also very sensitive to a customer's need, to sort out my case for me.

Unprofessional receptionist!!
It was my first time to the centre today, I came to reception and spoke to a member of staff with Curly hair and mentioned that it was my first time here. She looked at me as if I’m speaking Greek to her, not welcoming at all and didn’t even bother point me to the right direction. Not a single act of courtesy I don’t even know why she works there. Next time this happens again, I will name and shame that staff in here as she is not offering proper customer service

Better than before
The fact that it's under better management and has a better and organised way of booking classes/sessions is a great improvement.
Would be useful to have the health suite up and running again.

My daughter loved it! She wanted to go back into the pool again.
The only reason i did not give a 5 star is because they spent very little time in the main pool. Of the 30 mins session, they spent around 10-15 mins max in the main pool.
Subject to that, extremely pleased.

As the name says better but its…worst
As the name says better but its completely opposite its worst, 17 children in a small pool place for learning where children even don't have enough space to sand and swim , how we can expect the children to learn the classes, literally children are touching each other when they try to swim and how can the tutor can justify his work in30 mins with 17 children. Really dis appointment, and the place is sufficient for max 6 children to learn the classes ans swim, I flet I am paying money for fun which I an make them to play at home as well in a water tub

Stole my money..
They took over from Newham leisure centre change the layout of the gym website to there's then shut me out of being able to book sessions, I now have to pay twice in the same month which I won't do so now I have to wait 4 weeks to rejoin without any compensation or refferals to the new gym takeover... I feel Robbed and cheated...
