I really like using the gym here. I am self conscious about my weight and body shape but when I come here I don't feel judged as there are all shapes, sizes and ages of people using the gym. I feel it... Voir plus

Helpful staff at Lisnasharragh
My first time at the centre and staff went out of their way to show me around - in particular a swimming coach who explained the facilities and how the lane system works. Pool and changing area very clean.

Too many children in the swimming group…
Too many children in the swimming group and my daughter had to move and swim with very young children which was humiliating for her. Very disappointing. Cancelling her lessons.
*Edit to add she is not a beginner swimmer and was in a class for 15metres plus. She was not given a reason for the move, but it was clear to her Dad watching that the group she was in had too many children for the instructor to manage.

We are sorry to hear that your daughter did not enjoy her lesson. We wanted to clarify that lessons are based on ability not age so if your daughter has not had swimming lessons before she would be in our foundation class which is for customers aged between 4 and 15.
We hope that you will give the lessons another try but we are here to support you if you do decide to cancel.

Great staff, friendly, welcoming.
Nice place, very good equipment very clean and tidy and staff were very polite and kind would very recommend this gym and swimming pool and exercise classes top notch.

Great choice of courses once you master…
Great choice of courses once you master the timing on the booking system. Fabulous facility at Lisnasharragh. However, it's a bit impersonal and you're left to suss it all out yourself. General inductions for new members would help with this.

For three weeks in a row have attempted…
For three weeks in a row have attempted to book a class unable to book.
So will be cancelling my membership.
Surely you should try to sort this problem out so frustrating sitting watching spinning circle paying a monthly direct debit for no service.

Swimbies!
I attended “Swimbies Splashers” with my 16 month old today. It was my first time visiting Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre. The girls at the reception desk greeted me and my little boy with warmth and kindness. I was asked if I’d been before and i was pointed in the right direction, given details of who would meet me and where and they even leant me a £1 coin for the locker, which I completely forgot about when rushing out of the house. The swimming teacher was great and paid attention to us as we were the newbies joining the class. The leisure centre itself is clean, has a cafe in the foyer (equipped with high chairs), and all the staff i encountered were lovely! After such a good first experience I would definitely think about singing up to use the pool myself (if i ever get a chance!). It is very busy and the car park isn’t big, but there is plenty of parking in the surrounding area.

Amazing customer service…
Their online booking system is dreadful for popular classes as you have to book a place in seconds as soon as they become available. However if you ever have any questions or need to pause your membership because you're unwell, the actual people who reply to your email queries provide outstanding levels of customer service. They're not just for profits they're for people. And the staff in person are friendly and helpful too.
