Upon checking the system I can see that your membership has been cancelled under the cooling off period however, the membership was cancelled with the 20 day notice period and this is why you have been debited again. We are happy to assist you with a refund of this fee if you fill out our refund form online. The link is below where you can locate this online.

Really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Having not been to a gym or fitness class for many years, I felt nervous but really had no need to worry once I'd met the office staff, the gym instructor with whom I had my induction, and the fitness instructors whose classes I've so far attended. All have been patient & so, so helpful and informative. I would suggest however, that information is provided re: the initial gym induction, as in what to wear & precisely what the induction includes. Also, a quick tour of the centre.

Unclean gym could be very nice facility.
As a neighbor to the Walthamstow Leisure Center, I am very happy that this location provides all of the equipment that I look for in a gym/fitness center.
I would however like to point out, having managed budget gyms in NYC for several years which are larger and have an average member count of 20,000, that this gym is very dirty.
The facility does not seem to have been cleaned in a while with dust accumulating on a lot of surfaces. You can clearly see the machines are not cleaned regularly, as sweat marks have become discolored on machines and the floor and dust has been caked onto these spots. The air vents on cardio machines are filled with dust as well. The water fountain itself has calcification and rust.
This leads to very unsanitary workout conditions which is a major contributor to disease and infections, and I have not seen any employees on the floor at any time.

I am very sorry to hear that the Gymnastic Instructor did not show up at your child's first lesson. This only usually occurs due to unforeseen circumstances or staff illness so we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused on the day in question. Your child's membership should be credited to compensate you for the missed session and this will make your following direct debit slightly lower.
We hope your child will enjoy all their future Gymnastic Lessons in the future.

Understaffed I booked and paid for an induction which should of been 30 mins lasted 5 mins didn’t explain the equipment or how to use it properly . Very disappointed

The space is great! The gym is big and there are many different equipment. However, the gym could be cleaner and there should be some space, like hangers on the walls, to place our coats and jackets.

We are delighted to hear that you are enjoying your membership at the Walthamstow Leisure centre. However, we are disappointed to hear that the cleanliness of the centre is below standards so I will forward your comments for the attention of the centre manager so they can look into this with immediate effect and resolve. In regards to hangers on the wall, members are required to put their coats in the lockers provided as we would not provide coat hangers on the walls. This will mean that your property is left unsecure and could be misplaced, which we would not like to happen.
