Membership brilliant
The booking of activities is easy, good variation of classes, the facilities are brilliant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I just wish I had joined earlier

Children’s swimming lessons
The receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. She used Luca’s name when talking to him and was absolutely lovely.
The class was on time, organised and he really loved it.

Amazing customer service
I explained to the staff that my son wanted to join the gym. I explained he has some confidence / self esteem issues which can make him feel very anxious in new surroundings. The manager took time out of his already busy schedule and showed my boy around the gym area, explaining how things would work, he took his time with him, joked with him which made him feel much less anxious. Western leisure centre has amazing staff who always go extra mile, they genuinely care which is very rare. Definitely would recommend this place

I have attended the air venture…
I have attended the air venture sessions with my grandaughter who is autistic and non verbal on a few occasions.
The boys who work during the session are always amazing, kind, understanding and helpful. Thank you!

Rife with issues...
The swimbies teacher is nothing short of chaotic! It's the exact same activities every week, whilst being barked at if your 2 year old doesn't follow instructions. Not a relaxing environment. Plus the teacher doesn't even get in the water!
The changing room & shower cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The areas around the pool are pretty unpleasant.
Finally although we are told it is a Croydon council issue, it did effect our visits- the complete lack of parking spaces! 2 of the 3 times we visited on Sunday mornings we were forced to park in the minibus space & the drop off space resulting in parking fines (as the wardens literally hide in the car park & watch you).
I've given 2 stars as the cafe & reception staff we interacted with were really friendly & helpful. The soft play is really good too.

We appreciate the time you took to write the above review. We are very sorry to hear that some areas of the centre were not to a high standard so I will pass this feedback onto the centre so these areas can be looked into and resolved.
We pride ourselves on our excellent customer services and facilities so we are disappointed to hear that is not the service you have received so far.
The centre will also look into the issues regarding the Swimming lessons and the changing area's and try to resolve the issues mentioned. We are however, happy to hear that you enjoy the Cafe and the Soft Paly areas. Through feedback we can identify the areas where we fall short and we hope to improve on this.

Better leisure gives great services
Better leisure is great whatever you need. The customer services are helpful, friendly and human, my local leisure team are equally helpful and the facilities clean and we'll maintained.

It can be very noisy on site
You need to make it clear when schools are on site for swimming lessons. I attended an adult swim fitness slot and had a headache by the end because of all the screaming.
