Recently I have had communication with my finance company saying I had 2 companies contacting them about Motor Finance claims. On checking I found it true and that I had contacted Bott and Co a year after contacting the first company, my mistake. So I set about cancelling with Bott and Co.
When I filled out information for Bott I thought it was to cancel the one claim I thought I had made.
The next email I go was a surprise, although I knew there would be a penalty for cancelling. It was for 4 claims and one was even outside the FCA claims timescale.
I sent back an email stating this fact and asked for the account to be settled and for an invoice to be sent, as I wanted it to be sorted out promptly as I have health problems.
The invoice No. 7304513 came, addressed to Carole, my name is Douglas, and it was for 3 claims, and although feel it should have been for just one, paid it immediately for £252.00 on 24th August 2026.
I replied to email saying it was paid and would like receipt as confirmation of payment. Nothing came. I sent another message to info email address and tried phoning to confirm they had they payment. Still nothing and this is now 1st September.
I'm writing this on Trustpilot as I can't get an answer from BOTT and Co by email or phone. The Customer Service is dreadful.
