Every touch point with an employee is a fantastic inclusive interaction. Quick responses via email even when I email after my 9-5 job! Missing pieces are very rare but will be shipped out very quickly if required for the build. Absolutely love this company and have saved hundreds of pounds switching to brick borrow from mainstream LEGO.

Not worth the money
Poor service, interesting sets seemingly never available but you have to have a paid membership and no current set while you wait for them to (maybe) turn up. Not worth the money, especially with added postage for each selection however small a set it is, just spend your money on lego and keep it forever.

I deliberately hidden costs
I am leaving this here as you seem very responsive to your reviews, which you may see before my email. Purely to say I await a response to my email sent this evening at your earliest convenience tomorrow morning, with a full refund for 2 x annual Builder memberships, due to the nature of your incredibly misleading website. It is only now I read through all these reviews, I realise I am not alone!

What a Gem of a company
This is a fantastic service and makes my lego addition affordable. So many sets to choose from, new ones old ones, iconic ones, small builds and massive builds all there, and updated regularly.
When contacting them they always reply quickly. Sets are clean and i have not had any problems. Such a great company. I have recommended to everyone I know

I cant fault the customer service and communication at all. 5 🌟 all day long.
I will how ever point out that at no point in reading this and that did I read anything about what you can 1st borrow. Makes sensible business sense.
This is perfect for a Family and for those just less picky than my fussy older self. All in all I can't give less that 5 🌟 for the customer service communication via email. The experience was as good as. Happy building all.

Genuine Nightmare experience
Genuinely the worst gift I ever received.
Almost no sets I wanted available for the 3 months I was gifted. The request system is just an email to you (and anyone else who requested it) when the set comes back in.
I took one set in 3 months waiting for a good one I wanted to be available and none ever were in that time. Then it auto renewed without asking and charged my card £30 for a service I wasn't using.
Then to cancel the unwanted, unused and almost completely useless service I had to log in to the website only to dig around to find a cancellation form hidden away which takes you back out of the logged in area to a form where you have to manually enter all your details which they already have. And even then all it does is email support with a request to cancel.
Might well be the worst online service I have ever used and that's saying something in 2026

We’re disappointed to read this review, as we feel it gives a very misleading impression of both your experience and our service.
Firstly, we strongly disagree with your comments regarding availability. We have invested heavily in our LEGO® library and continue to reinvest to ensure our members have a fantastic selection of sets to choose from. In fact, another member who left a review on the very same day which can be seen below reported borrowing over £2,000 worth of LEGO® sets this year alone.
Since returning your set, you've been free to select from our available library. We add over 500 sets back into circulation every single working day, Monday to Friday. While we appreciate that certain popular sets are in particularly high demand, suggesting that our library has almost no availability is simply not an accurate reflection of our service.
Finally, our cancellation process is clearly explained in the FAQs section of our website. Members can submit a cancellation request using the form provided, and our customer service team responds within 24 hours.
We're always open to constructive feedback and continually invest in improving our service. However, we do feel it's important to provide the full context of your membership, particularly given the length of time you kept your first set and the number of sets continually returning to our library.
Yearly member
Have been with Brickborrow since Dec 25. So far I've had 15 sets that would have cost me about £2000 to buy.
The customer service is great and they are regularly adding more and more of the newest released sets so my list keeps growing.

Lego Library!
I am so glad I picked Brick Borrow as a new hobby! I fell in love with lego recently but have no room to store the sets that I build so this was a perfect solution! They have a lot of choice, including some retired sets, and so far I have always found something fun to build. I also find it very good value for money (I am on the Builder package). As long as you bare in mind this is like a library service for lego (meaning sometimes the odd piece is missing or the set you want is in someone else’s hands etc) it’s never an problem (and their customer service is really fast at responding when you need help!)

Great concept. Poor execution
Great concept, poor implementation.
I recently signed up for their Builder subscription, costing £14.99 per month. First issue was that I noticed a delivery fee for my order. It’s not clear when signing up that you also pay for deliveries. Maybe I missed it and maybe I was thinking too much to expect it to be included!?
After receiving the set, I soon discovered a missing piece. I reported it and was told I could restring the set and they’d add the missing piece - but I wanted to finish the build so asked them to send me the piece. Days later it arrived and the build commenced. Only to discover another piece was missing. This time I’d lost all faith so reported it (same response from them) so returned it and have cancelled my subscription.
I appreciate pieces go missing but 2 in one set is annoying. I’m not sure the solution to stop it but that the main reason I’d stay clear of this and similar companies.
On a positive, their range is good, albeit you probably have to wait a while for the good sets

We completely understand why this would be frustrating, especially when you were keen to finish the build. We work hard to check every set before it goes out, but occasionally something can slip through. We really appreciate you reporting the missing pieces, as this allows us to correct the set and make sure the next builder doesn't have the same experience.
We're also sorry to hear that you felt the delivery fee wasn't clear to you when signing up. The delivery fee is shown in both our Terms and Conditions and FAQs.
We're glad you found our range of sets to be a positive, even if availability of some of the most popular builds meant waiting was sometimes necessary. We're continually adding sets and rotating them through the library to give members access to as much variety as possible.
We're sorry to see you leave after your first experience, but we really appreciate you giving Brick Borrow a try and taking the time to share your feedback. We hope we will have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Got the subscription for my Lego mad son , he’s now on his 3 delivery and is loving all the different types of Lego he can choose from , definitely worth giving it a go

First build complete with brick borrow!
Received my first box the other day. The signing up process was very straight forward, item was well packaged, no missing pieces and came with original instructions. Me and my daughter love Lego but running out of space to store them so this subscription is perfect! The return was easy too with the pre paid label. Looking forward to choosing my next one!

Waste of money
Paid for my subscription, then got to the available sets page and there was nothing interesting on there to borrow. I think you should be able to see whats available before deciding to sign up. I felt like I had wasted my money (and the £5.95 postage fee) on something I didnt really want. Havent finished building the one ive got as ive got 16 pages in and theres 2 bits missing (the only 2 of the set!). Will be returning and cancelling. Waste of money

Love these guys. Great to be able to borrow rather than buy. Customer service are always super polite and helpful (i recently asked them to rush processing my return and they did that as well as fast tracked my delivery so i got it before going away). cant praise the whole setup and service enough
