Britannia Driving School Avis 

I had a couple of driving instructors before trying Britannia. They sent Jon, and he is by far the most knowledgeable and experienced of them all. He was always punctual, gave clear instructions and explained how to do things properly. He taught me how to drive, not just pass the test. I passed with two minors and would recommend Jon and Britannia to anyone. The office staff were also very helpful when I had any queries.

I performed a mock test with Oscar, two days ahead of my actual exam. I was taught throughout my lessons by a different instructor and company but I sought out the experience of having a different instructor for a mock test. I believe in large part I passed due to Oscar. He is incredibly kind and a very intelligent instructor emotionally and skill wise - I would recommend him for anyone seeking to pass. He addressed the outstanding challenges I had, and made the difference I needed. Thank you, Oscar!

I passed first time - only 3 minors - with Rahan, he was very good at explaining things and the lessons were very thorough. I would definitely recommend!

My lessons are constantly cancelled . No one shows up , no sorry , delays , terrible experience so far. Would not recommend to anyone . I relied on them for so long and I am so disappointed .
Why book a driving lesson 2/3 weeks in a row and no show up?

I passed first try with Jon as my driving instructor, and cannot thank him enough. He is a stellar instructor, very punctual, clear and organised; he knew all the routes that I could come across for the test and taught me everything I needed to know and more, hence building my confidence to allow me to pass first try. Thanks to Jon’s patience I now feel confident enough driving alone despite starting with zero experience, and so I truly recommend Jon for productive and enjoyable lessons!

Despite being trained to drive in Canada and apprehensive about learning and testing in London, Rahan was exceptionally calm and patient and instructed me on exactly what I needed to know to successfully pass my test on the first attempt. Very competent and knowledgeable and left me with tips and good driving practices that I will use from now on.

Had Rahan as the driving instructor and he's stellar. Was able to learn how to drive well from zero experience within a couple of lessons.

Very patient with any mistakes made, and didn't stress me out when things went wrong.

Mario was hands down the reason I passed first time, calm and patient and explained things in a clear way. Always open to questions and also kept things light and easy and fun. I always felt in good hands. If anyone wanted a driving instructor I’d send them his way.

I wasn't exactly a natural driver, but through Rahan's patience and awareness of what I needed to work on we got there in the end. He spoke about certain aspects of the car that made the whole process make so much more sense and for someone who knew very little about driving before I started learning this was very helpful. Because of his teaching I feel super confident on the roads and am loving driving!

I am so glad to have chosen Britannia Driving School and was the best thing that ever happened to me. I am a driver for 33 years in another country and decided to get my drive license in UK. At first I had another driving school but the instructor made me so nervous that I didn’t want even to do the test. My husband then told me to contact Britannia and get a new instructor. The school send me Mr. Leslie to teach me and he was brilliant! Very inspiring man that helped me to build my confidence again and do the test. I pass at the first time! I contacted Britannia looking for driving lessons and was quickly put in contact with Mario who ended up being my instructor for 5 months, and took me from never having driven a car to passing my driving test first try in a manual.

He was an excellent teacher and struck the right balance between encouragement and constructive criticism, as well as being good company for all those hours behind the wheel. Every lesson was a pleasure. Can’t recommend highly enough.

I tried Britannia Driving School after being with a previous instructor and failing a test. I was in desperate need of an instructor who would be patient, dedicated and teach me everything I needed. I was taught by Jon F. for nearly 2 years and I could not recommend enough!

He went above and beyond to help me calm my nerves (there were plenty), test my skills and allow me to feel a safe and confident driver by the time I passed. He knew all the routes that I needed for the test and taught me rules of the road my previous instructor had never bothered to teach. He was insightful and dedicated on the job. He never gave up on me or gave me the impression he didn't want to continue teaching me, even after a few fails at the test which were mostly down to nerves and panic on the day.

Jon was punctual, never took away time off our lessons, was flexible with his days and time.

I truly feel we covered everything we could before I passed in March. I never felt I couldn't do something when in that driving seat!
