Great service, quality product cut perfectly to size.

I have an item that I wanted and the website was was fairly easy to use.
So I am pleased.
My only suggestion is, maybe it could be more inter-active.
Reason:- I want the item as a base for a collection of fridge magnets. It is very heavy for a child. I am having it framed to hang on a wall. I would have liked advice on the thickness and weight..
That's all. I am amazed that such a service exists and I hope they do well.

Had to research buying metal sheeting for my bee hive roof and after after looking at many options and prices I chose Buy Metal Online.
The price was good and the product exactly what I wanted.
It arrived exactly as ordered and was very well packed so very pleased.

Good points: order all present and correct with measurements spot on. Attentive customer service. Disappointing aspects: lazily packaged with different components all wrapped round together with very sticky reinforced tape which meant it was a real job to take off and clean off plastic/glue residue. There must be a better way that takes them slightly longer but saves the end customer significant time? Steel edging/pegs already had some rust marks and jagged edges in places - will not effect function, but maybe a sign it doesn't get the best TLC in the warehouse? Bad points: 3 weeks to deliver, required 3 follow ups and two false assurances that it will arrive the following day - they obviously have a pretty ropey delivery partner (despite the delivery cost on what was a modest sized set of components being a tidy £15) and logistics communications could be better. Glad it wasn't an urgent job or that I took the day(s) off work to receive it!
Addendum: customer services followed up the review above very promptly explaining the packaging/ courier issues and discounting the delivery charge, so full credit for their response

Easy to find what you want on the site however delivery service quite slow hence 4 stars and not 5

It was just what my wife wanted the only downside was 2 of the corners where bent in transit

Very happy with the metal sheets I received just the job

Good quality products. Helpful friendly and staff. We had a few issues mainly with the delivery firm throwing my order around resulting in bent steel being delivered. But the staff on the customer service team resolved the issue promptly. I recommend highly. Only not a 5 star review due to delivery firm. Order thicker material and I can’t be bent in transit!
