Don't waste your time with this credit…

Don't waste your time with this credit card. It only works sometimes, its not accepted everywhere. When you call to have any blocks lifted they tell you that they have no control over this. They tell you its a system issue and to use another card. Do your self a favor and get another card. Close your account with them.

Worst card ever

Worst card ever. Husband had a card it was closed and sent to collections settled it flr less than owed and 14 days after settling they reported the amount that was supposed to be forgiven as still owed . I emailed to be told they wont report anything until may13

Then another email saying it will take until may 13 to ensure the funds are secure. I paid by debit which posted the same day. Cfna. Is a fraudulent scamming group. Cheating customers

Pass on CFNA!

I applied for a credit card when I had ro buy 4 new tires from Firestone simply because I could pay with no interest for 6 months. After receiving my 2nd paper bill I realized they were charging a fee for it and called about it. The CSR I spoke with confirmed the fee, wouldn't refund it, and advised I could opt out of paper bills and receive them electronically. I did so, then paid off the balance. Something about this credit card isn't right. I tried to log in to my account last night and my password was rejected. I asked to reset it, received a code to do that, then reset my password with the one I initially created. They rejected that and said my new password couldn't be the same as my old one! So why did they reject my old password when it was correct to begin with? Who knows? I am going to call CFNA in the morning and request that they close my account. I don't patronize Firestone often enough to need this card!

I had this card years ago when I was making less than I do now.
U just denied me and I have a credit score of 790!!!! for some BS reasons that make no sense...
Its ok Kharma comes to bite you
The rep gave me the discounted price of my oil change anyway even though I was denied
Thanks for denying me now I know who I am dealing with :). :)) :)))))). :))))))
And I wont refer this service to anyone I know!!!!!!!!!!

Horrible company. Google for reviews

Used card, never received bill. Paid off in full thru my bank. Rep told me fiserv refused my payment. Not sure why. Verified their address and acct number with their reps. Recd all sorts of charges. Can't pay by phone,and they refuse checks. Can't speak to anyone in bookkeeping. Email from their reps only. 10 answer, been almost month and no answer.

No Autopay option

They DO NOT have an autopay option. I use them for my Car Club membership and that's it. Problem is, ALL my bills are paid thru autopay, everything, except for this one. By the time they start calling you (incessantly, and don't even leave a vm), it's too late. They have already charged you a late fee. They won't refund the fee either. So, that discount I get at my car club, I pay that and some extra to these cave dwellers. Not surprised that their rating here is in the low 1's. It's not like we can rate them ZERO's.

Not auto pay offered no grace period or first time late fee waiver

I’ve had an account for over 8 years and they never have offered auto pay. I forgot to schedule a payment and was late by 4 days . I paid right away when I realized what happened but they didn’t waive the late fee , saying it was out of their parameters and they don’t offer a grace period . This is seemingly predatory to me because they do not send out any kind of reminders that you haven’t scheduled a payment nor did they send any kind of warning that the payment would be late . Other companies offer auto pay to help with this issue , it’s absurd that CFNA doesn’t offer this option because people make mistakes and it’s much easier to have it set up with the automatic payment. Other credit cards I have also send out emails saying there isn’t a payment scheduled as a reminder . CFNA doesn’t do this they just send an email saying your statement is ready . Auto pay would fix this !!

Boy Howdy!!!👎

As much as I enjoy the availability of this credit for maintenance of my auto, I just got a 64.5% LATE FEE for making a payment less than 24 hours late due to waiting for a slow holiday bank transaction.

I would give a zero if possible

I would give a zero if possible. Opened a credit card at a firestone store and only used it at that store. Somehow my info was used for 5 separate purchases in Dallas Tex. I live in Cleveland Ohio and have never even been to Texas. The first three charges were removed after a few months but it was used a 4th and 5th time and I am getting nowhere with them to resolve this issue.

WORST credit card I have

WORST credit card I have. Used once for a car repair (380.00). Hard to pay. I pay with my prepaid SS debit card every bill I have. 100% on time pay history on credit reports. Can’t setup online- won’t accept without a banking route & account #. Calling in does not give debit card option, have to reach a CSR to do. That’s a $4.99 charge to so over the phone. And they are not a 24/7; 7 days a week service. They also charge another fee for paper billing. I believe thats $3.00. And you’re automatically signed up for a paper bill. You have to opted out. Reread the paper agreement and no where does it identify these fees. Last pymnt was late due to not being able to phone in pymnt (not business days/hrs). Received text from “collector” 8 days after due date( I forgot). Immediately called CSR & made pymnt along with that $4.99 charge. Received notification from Equifax my credit limit was decreased by $500.00. For missing ONE on time pymnt in under a 30 day limit which is how pymnts are reported. Ridiculous company. Shady, underhanded BS. Paying off and that will be the end of that card. Do NOT recommend

Hidden Fees; Missing functionale like Automatic Payments, Not worth it

Hidden Fees, No options to set up automatic payments. Difficult customer service. Customer service reps are following the script to the point of being disrespectful. Do not use these guys unless you absolutely have to. I have over 20 credit cards, and this is by far the worst.

Note: The customer service representative was able to issue a credit after a long call and after I asked to speak to a supervisor. Once she offered me a $15 credit, she followed the script to leave a review, but then abruptly disconnected me.

CFNA reported a late payment

CFNA reported a late payment, which is completely untrue. I went with a debt management company who made the payment CFNA agreed to and in addition, I made the payment, just in case. They caused my credit rating to go down 71pts. They agreed they screwed up and still have not corrected the problem. I don't trust them at all and you shouldn't either. They're untruthful.

Do not borrow money from them. Total scam when it comes to the "promotional interest" they wiave it for 6 months and if you don't pay the balance in full by month 6, they charge you the accumulated interest of the first 6 months you had the promo! Garbage bank! Customer service doesn't even work with you! Do not recommend them to anyone!!!

Heartless company

If thinking about getting this card, don't. They closed my account after I paid it off. I wasn't in arrears, never late, never missed a payment but that doesn't matter to them. They say my credit score dropped so they won't renew it. I paid them!! No problems. Just like that because a formula and a machine told them to. No heart left to over ride decisions like that. I will never use Firestone again after being a lifelong (40 yrs) customer just decided to throw that away because 2 of my other accounts are behind. I still have good credit with you. I guess they aren't loyal so I won't be ever again!

Stupid payment services

Definitely not having automatic payment is pretty scummy. The notion that a bank can't schedule automatic withdrawal is either a sign of the company being incredibly incompetent or them using scummy business practices.

Misleading terms

I got new tires at Tires Plus and got a 6 month Promotional Balance. I was told by the CFNA Customer Service that every payment that I made during the 6 month period would go towards the Promotional Balance first. Now, today they tell me that only the last 2 payments go toward the Promotional Balance. I questioned the Customer Service representative thoroughly so I could understand the terms. They switched the terms so they could charge me interest on my purchase. It's incredible that a company like Firestone would be a part of this.

Lowered credit amount

I have had and used CFNA/Firestone for many many years. I have ALWAYS paid the balance in full and on time and most times right away. I just used the card 3 weeks ago for 4 new tires, couldn't pay it off until the statement came out. Paid it off. Just received a letter they are lowering my credit limit. WHAT???? Done with CFNA & FIRESTONE. SHAMEFUL!!

CFNA REFUSED TO LIFT BANK RESTRICTION ON MY ACCOUNT

I had problems with my bank account for a short period and a few payments were returned on my CFNA Gills Point S account. When I found out the payments were returned I went online and paid the amounts immediately. The bank problems have been solved and yesterday I went online to pay my current bill. CFNA had placed a restriction on my account that keeps me from paying my bill with my checking account. I called and explained the situation and asked that the restriction be removed so that I could pay my account. The customer service person I spoke with refused to do it and said I could use another account. I told her that was the only account. I also pointed out that the system will not allow me to update the account. She said, that was my only option. I told her I wanted to speak to a supervisor. When I got him on the phone he parroted the same line of BS as the CSR I spoke with. I told him that I knew that he could have the restriction lifted. He claimed he could not which is a lie. He also said I could use an alternative bank account completely ignoring that I had just told him there is no other bank account. I find it mighty strange that a company refuses to take payment from the account holder on an account that is owed. CFNA needs to have better customer service and needs to work with their customers instead of against them. When if and ever I find some way to make payments to CFNA I will pay this account off and be done with them. I will also NEVER use Gills Point S credit for any service again. If a low quality company like CFNA is the type of company they use for their credit service it makes me wary of what type of quality I would receive from Gills Point S.
