This is the third Charnwood stove that we have bought in recent years. Two for this house and one for our last. As our previous chimney sweep described them as the "Rolls Royce" of stoves. We completely agree.

Excellent installer (Martyn Ducker - Redruth) and a very well made stove that looks wonderful and provides lots of heat.

The fitters were excellent and the fire looks good and performs perfectly.

Wanted a smallish homegrown stove for a smaller room.At 3.6kw this fit the bill nicely.
Solid in build and stylish looking .
Nice air control and benefits from an ash pan which helps when emptying.
Overall a great solid stove
Move upto the Aire 5 or 7 for bigger rooms.

Comfortable controllable heat

WE used The Stove shop in Tavistock as our supplier and fitter. A really good pre- sales survey, followed by a great fitting team. we had our chimney lined as well as having an Island stove fitted.
The team gave us a full demonstration of firing up the new stove and really checked all moving parts.
A new CO detection meter was also fitted.

Appears a good quality stove and early days but seems efficient for size

The stove we purchased is made in the UK out of good quality materials and burns beautifully. A worthy replacement for our previous Charnwood stove that we had for over 15 years. I used to work for one of their dealers so I know the products are 1st class.

Stove fitted, looks good, excellent instructions for use, produces lovely heat and large door window gives room a cosy feel when lit. Wish we had replaced our open fire years ago.

Purchased through local supplier and fitted by local qualified installer. What a brilliant stove. Turned a large unused conservatory into a garden room by fitting a solid insulated roof and a Charnwood Aire 5 stove on stand. Turned into one of the most used rooms in the house with the lit stove as centre piece. Very pleased with our purchase.

Purchased a Aire 5 intelligent stove from Shire stoves. This was an extra display model never been used. Came delivered with missing power cable but they did send it out. We brought the stove to replace the sky 5 BIG Mistake!! This stove is very expensive, since the day the stove was installed it never worked properly. We contacted the supplier they were not very helpful they told us to contact Charnwood. We contacted them they came out to look at the stove and said the issue was the motherboard a valve wasn’t working correctly. They changed the motherboard and this seemed to work. After a while it started to play up again our wood is dry and tested for moisture before burning. The app for the phone never works I can’t even get on it at all now no matter how many times I try to reinstall it. I have contacted Charnwood and told them that we are not happy with the stove and asked if we could return it. They said it’s not there problem contact the supplier where we purchased it from. The stove is just a crap expensive metal box and will be taken out at the end of winter. The sky 5 will be reinstalled.

Installation was professional and efficient. The team arrived on time, protected the furniture, did some serious drilling which resembled dust central! but after the installation did a fantastic job of clearing up!
The log burner fits perfectly, looks great and burns well.
I am more than delighted with the product and the service. Job done!!!
