Always my go to, as it checks all the credit reference agencies. And it's super easy to cancel when you want, and rejoin when you want. Far better than Experian.

I wanted to check my credit score but…
I wanted to check my credit score but was disgusted that they wanted me to fill in bank account details. I do not give out my bank details to anyone unless I am buying something. I certainly would not to a company who has reviews saying they still took payments even though they cancelled. I have been on other credit companies and they did not ask for my bank details so why is checkmyfile?

I used Checkmyfile because I needed to…
I used Checkmyfile because I needed to review my credit history as part of a mortgage application. I took advantage of the 7-day free trial and was very impressed with the service.
The report was comprehensive, easy to understand and gave me a much clearer picture of the information held on my credit file. Having the information presented together in one place made it much easier to check my financial history before progressing with the mortgage.
The website was straightforward to use, and the explanations alongside the credit information were particularly helpful. The 7-day free trial also gave me plenty of opportunity to properly review everything without feeling rushed.
Overall, I found Checkmyfile to be a very useful and professional service and would happily recommend it to anyone wanting to understand their credit position, particularly before applying for a mortgage or other significant borrowing.

Comprehensive info, quick and easy to access. I wanted to check my mortgage borrowing and - instead of rummaging through paperwork files and electronic files on my computer, I remembered Checkmyfile! It was quick and easy to set up an account and all of my borrowing, plus other useful info such as my credit score, are shown. Very easy to navigate my way around and get the info I needed.

Although much of the information on your credit report only stays for 6 years, there are so many other bits and pieces that can remain indefinitely, like address history and financial associations.
