Great service on time and informed all the way through. The final cost matched what was estimated.

Having left the camper there for six weeks we still have not had the faults rectified. Very poor communication and when I asked to talk to a manager he wasn’t available although they had to go and see if he wasn’t available!!
Aftersales experience has been awful.

Very professional in every way

Very helpful staff, clear process to part exchange old motorhome and buy our new one. No feeling of pressure and follow up to complete purchase was very clear.

Good service and kept me informed throughout the process. Regularly use chelation for my servicing needs. Will also buy a new motorhome from them again.

The best part was how Jade kept me up to date with all the repair work and servicing on my van. All work carried out is to a good standard

Booked for habitation check which was carried out on time, vehicle returned as clean as it was left. Good communication from service and reception staff.

Engineering serviced the vehicle in a timely way. Job was left on front desk so was only noticed when I queried if it had been done

This visit was for some warranty damp work to be completed. The work was straight forward with no added problems encountered during the repair. The quality and standard of the external finish is excellent and is superior to when it went in for repair. The acid test of whether this is as good as it seems will be next April when the next hab check is completed and whether or not any damp is found.

We had a brilliant buying experience from Chelston motor homes. We were interested in an Autotrail tribute 670 t. On the day that we viewed the vehicle, the sales man couldn’t have been more helpful. Without putting any pressure on us whatsoever. He carefully explained all the finance options available to us, and found the right one that suited our needs. We agreed to purchase the vehicle. It was ready on the day agreed, and the handover was second to none, they went through absolutely everything with us. There after sales are fantastic. We will definitely be dealing with Chelston again in the future.

Understanding, polite and efficient

Our motorhome had a roof leak during our warranty period that had to be repaired. (We were disappointed that the manufacturer did not reimburse even a penny towards the cost of getting the motorhome to their base and back home). However, last year we discovered that they had only done half the job and the 'van had to go back to their base again! Jade at Chelston was totally amazing with the help she did getting the 'van back to base and negotiating on our behalf. Manufacturers are now very tight fisted over customers' costs for transport and overnight accommodation. More often than not vehicles have to go back to base for something that was below standard in their own manufacturing. Why should the owner have to pay for the manufacturer's mistakes?

The service team should be given one star

We drove 6. hour round trip so that you could have our van for two days to service it and do snagging. We stayed over night. We were told everything had been done and went to Scotland. The revering camera was not working which we had already told you was the case. It caused major issues in Scotland. When I phoned your service department the lady said we could not get the fault to show up so we did not fix it??? she also it was a known faulT? Why did you not tell us it had not been fixed when we picked the van up? WE now have to take photos of the blank screen and drive another 6 hours! Also tiles door was not fixed requested (bangs when we are driving) Shame the service team have let Martin down

Our Carthago was booked in for 2 days for hab check, engine service and engine belt change. As I drove away from Chelston on the Saturday, there was a belt squeel from the engine. Had to drive carefully 35 miles home, and had to bring g it back the following week. The squeel was diagnosed as the auxiliary belt idler pulley requiring lubrication. A simple fix but it should really have been picked up before I collected the motorhome. Sadly not the first time there have been issues with the service. This was the only blemish on the service this time.

I was very disappointed with the service provided.
I was told all the jobs were complete on my Motorhome and when I went to Collect
Only 1 job had been done and that was a very poor quality paint job.

Made two lengthy journeys to Chelston with a view to purchasing a new motorhome. However, unfortunately, we were unable to find a van which suited our needs.

The Salesman then offered us a van which was about to reach the production line, and we stated we would be interested. He then forwarded a price, in writing, and discussed extras etc. over a lengthy telephone call. He also confirmed the trade-in price for our existing van. and we accepted the deal.

The following morning we received a phone call informimg us that the price had risen by several thousands of pounds. No explanaton whatsoever, and a rather abrupt call. A far from pleasant experience.

Picked up my new van whilst dropping off my trade in. Chelston provided a thorough handover and Martyn in sales organised the dealer fitted extras and made the whole experience very easy on the day of handover. Very efficient and would recommend to others.
