I couldn’t recommend Tanya and Aaron enough. I am always skeptical with trusting companies as I have been mislead a lot in the past. But, these two put me at ease. They are very trustworthy and very helpful and want the best for you. I managed to get back almost £10k from gas and electric companies due to them having me on business rates instead of residential. Now I also pay less interest. I would always recommend these two.

We had a long running dispute with a utility company, we were being charged gas and electricity for a tenant that left in a hurry. The utility company were proving very difficult to deal with, I asked CU to help and the team, led by Jo Arries picked up the gauntlet. I dont know how she got the utility company to see common sense, but she did. The matter was resolved and we ended up paying for the period when we were responsible. This is the outcome we had been asking for all along, but I dont believe we would have got there without CU help.

Jo Arries has untangled a web of incorrect meter readings, payments received (we did get refunds), bills issued. If she hadnt been as effective as she is I think I would have had a nervous breakdown! Thanks Jo and thanks to Consultiv Utilities, your recruitment strategies are clearly extremely good!

Mark Reaper our account manager provides an excellent service. He managed to secure a reduction of £5k on new energy contracts over our existing contracts. Mark and his team recovered VAT exemptions for us that our previous energy consultant had ignored. He also provided an excellent analysis of our portfolio which will help them support and manage our account going forward.

I recently received a call from Lee-Anne. Although I already had a broker in place, I believe it’s always worth checking to ensure you're getting the best possible deal—right?

I had briefly spoken to Lee-Anne about a year ago and explained I was in a contract at the time. What stood out was that I wasn’t bombarded with follow-up calls or emails, which made me more open to engaging when she reached out again. Lee-Anne was a pleasure to speak with—friendly, patient, and understanding. I especially appreciated her willingness to repeat herself when I struggled to catch a word due to her Australian accent!

She clearly explained the process and then passed me on to her colleague Andrew, who would discuss suppliers and available rates. At that point, I braced myself for the usual hard sell... but I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Andrew was engaging, informative, and refreshingly non-pushy. He had a great personality and was completely transparent about the fee structure, his industry knowledge, and—most importantly—my reason for taking the call. I wasn’t experiencing any issues with my current supplier; I simply wanted reassurance that I was getting a competitive deal.

It was genuinely refreshing to speak with someone whose focus was on providing quality service, rather than reading from a script or aggressively chasing targets. If my relationship with my current broker ever changes, I would 100% reach out to this team again.
