Turner house was perfect for a group stay. Everyone had an amazing time and it provided everything it possibly could have. I would definitely recommend and for future group stays would definitely be coming back.

A delightful and charming stay. Exactly as portrayed. Early morning sunrises were magical. Clare is lovely and welcoming.

The Coop was absolutely stunning! Being in the woodlands watching the squirrels and listening to the birds whilst soaking in a gorgeous outdoor bubble bath was just what my partner and I needed! Such a great last minute deal too! Thank you so much… we shall definitely return for a lux retreat stay at another of your beautiful idyllic cabins on the farm. Just fabulous!!!

How wonderfully apt that these guys are called Cool as the property’s they offer are indeed really Cool & quite often exclusive to there sight. We are so excited to have made a booking for next year’s holiday, as it’s exactly where we wanted to be geographically & we found the ideal property & location, amazing & only at Coolstays..

I tried booking a cottage at portmaggie cottage, my email request was sent Friday morning and the owners didnt get it until tues, by then I couldnt wait any longer incase I had to find somewhere else and managed to book it through another company straight away

This is an incredibly unique stay, beautifully crafted into the exisiting nature and is so isolated you feel like you are in a different world. Gerry was a fabulous host and the brownies his wife made were to die for! The Chatsworth farm shop isnt too far of a drive so make sure to stop on the way and stock up on lots of treats, drink, food and fabulous fresh meat to cook on the barbcue. We stayed for 3 nights and just managed to store our fresh food in the fridge for all our meals and we really enjoyed cooking and eating this outside. The hot tub takes a little getting used to so make sure you don’t put too much wood in! Slowly is best and once mastered is so tranquil with its surroundings and the sunset on the horizon you wont want to get out! My wife especially liked the shower being outside surrounded by the amazing view and listening to the different birds as she sat on the porch in a morning. We took a beautiful walk from the cabin through Birchover village and then through the purple heather in the Stanton moor to the 9 ladies which is a must hike during your stay.
Make sure you take a raincoat should you need it for the loo in the night and a good pair of walking shoes to explore.
We both loved everything about this stay and our only regret is that we couldn't live here permanently!

Our stay was truly exceptional! We always say we go back to places, but honestly the relaxation and tranquillity here was really special. We will have to return. We stayed here as an anniversary/post surgery recoup break and it was impeccable! Communication with the host was brilliant! Everything was so well thought about, from the lighting, games, books, the hamper and even the little helpful links. Would 100% come back and always recommend the oak. Hands down one of our faves. I would recommend the nest. The owners are very friendly and made us feel welcome, they give you privacy also available if needed . The nest is ideal for a quiet getaway with plenty of special touches. I rate this a 10 /10 and will definitely be returning in the near future

Coolstay is a great platform for finding unique, beautiful places to stay. It is easy to find areas or unique places to stay. Our last stay was the Jungle Cabin, which was exceptional. I don't hesitate to recommend Coolstays.

We had a great time at Hermitage Cottage - communication was fantastic from Jerry and the team the whole time, the location is gorgeous, especially with the hot tub looking over the forest, and the cottage had everything we could need! A perfect getaway. Will definitely be looking at coming back!

An unforgettable stay in a beautiful part of southwest France. The villa itself is private, peaceful and beautifully designed, with vineyard views, a dreamy terrace, a private plunge pool and so many thoughtful touches throughout. It was very easy to settle into a relaxing break with such attentive hosts. One of the loveliest moments was the weekly apéro at Le Moulin, where guests gathered for wine, canapés and conversation among the vines. The area around Le Malbec was a real highlight for us. We loved heading out for walks among the butterfly-filled lanes, exploring nearby villages, shopping locally, stopping for food and drinks, and taking in the slower pace of life in the Lot and Célé valleys. Cajarc, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie and the Chemin de Halage are all well worth visiting, and there is so much to enjoy within easy reach. It is the kind of place where you can do as much or as little as you like: explore during the day, come back for a swim, open a bottle of wine and enjoy the picture-perfect setting. Deirdre and Marc have created something very special at Le Malbec. It's the perfect place to switch off.

Really cool place, rustic vibe and great in the summer. The website has a limit on 2 dogs but the owners kindly let us take our 3 which was great. It’s very secluded.
Do be aware there are a couple extra costs not in included in the original pricing shown. Such as £25 per dog and needing to pay for a bag of coal (£8) and any extra wood if you’re staying for more than 1 night.
It is perhaps in a few places slightly more overgrown than advertised too.
