Ho contattato l'assistenza per cambiare il pagamento della polizza da mensile ad annuale e l'operatore è stato super efficiente, gentile, competente e veloce. Ha attivato la nuova polizza e modificato i termini della vecchia affinché decada dal giorno in cui si sarebbe dovuta rinnovare, mi ha inviato tutti i documenti relativi alla nuova polizza ed alla vecchia. Ci siamo scambiati piu mail, ha sempre risposto con tempismo e abbiamo risolto il tutto nella stessa giornata.
L'operatore è stato gentile, competente, efficiente e veloce, quindi sono davvero entusiasta dell'esperienza piu che positiva.
Consiglio vivamente Coverdrone a chiunque abbia uno o piu droni.

Good experience

First I waited almost a full month after filing my claim. After I got a confirmation of receiving the claim I did not hear a thing for almost a whole month! When I contacted them they said I needed another policy number and they suposedly mailed me, but this was only the confirmation of receiving my claim, nothing about another policy number. My agent gave met this number and know they said the claim is declined because I did not have a flight schedule!

I was only filming the house of a friend! And now the decline the claim because I did not have a flight schedule only to film the house of a friend near to the ground. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONEY GRABBERS!!!

We have reviewed the details of your claim and would like to clarify the timeline. Your claim form was received on 3 March 2026, however the policy number and contact details provided did not match any policy in our system. Our team contacted you the same day to request the correct policy number so that we could locate the policy and proceed.

The correct policy number was provided on 27 March, which allowed us to locate the policy and set the claim up on 30 March. Once the claim was reviewed, it was declined because the drone involved in the incident was not listed on the policy schedule. For equipment cover to apply, the drone must be declared on the policy.

For this reason, the claim was not declined falsely or incorrectly. The decision was based on the policy details and the information available when the claim was assessed.

As this policy was arranged through a broker, the drone details are normally provided during the policy setup process. We would recommend contacting your broker so they can review the policy arrangement with you and help clarify why the drone was not listed.

We understand how disappointing it can be when equipment is lost, and if you would like our team to review the situation further or discuss the policy with you, our support team would be happy to help.

Fantastic service

I had a mishap with my drone and it was lost. The service I received from Coverdrone was top drawer. Helpful, supportive and very quick. A replacement drone arrived yesterday, less than a week from my accident.

My best review for coverdrone

My best review for coverdrone, and especially for Orianna. She was incredibly patient, not only in listening to my situation, but also in helping me find the necessary documents. They settled my claim for the loss of three drones, not one! A level of professionalism I wouldn't have found in Italy.

Terrible Cover

This is another insurance company that charge for ground cover, then when it's claim time say That's not covered.

Also when you send a drone in for repair and it is replaced. You will find if it's a newer model they will replace drone not batteries. Leaving you with unit that is not usable.

Avoid this company.

Regarding cover for ground equipment, the policy was a recreational drone policy, under which photography equipment is not covered. This information is outlined during the purchase journey and within the policy documentation, which we always encourage customers to review so they can be confident about what is and is not included.

In relation to the claim, wear and tear is not covered under the policy. That said, we still agreed to send your drone for assessment to explore the options available. Following this assessment, the manufacturer supplied an upgraded replacement drone body.

We understand your issue regarding the batteries, and are pleased to confirm that this issue is already in the process of being resolved - new batteries are going being sent to you so that the replacement drone can be used as intended. Your claim hasn't yet been closed, and we will keep you updated with the latest information.

Our aim is always to handle claims fairly, clearly, and with the customer kept informed throughout. If you would like to discuss your policy cover or the claim further, our support team is available and happy to help.
